Always a 5-star experience at Wildfish! We are serious foodies and when we want a great meal made from the best, quality ingredients, we head to Wildfish. Our server, Angel, was wonderful and so friendly, but gave us the space and time we desired. We started with one of our favorites, the shrimp cocktail, which has a creamy sauce with it that is heavenly. We did the Restaurant Week menu, which was really good and the portions were generous. We both had caesar salads (huge portion), the filet mignon for the main, and for dessert we did both the panna cotta and the bananas foster cake. They even offered these small side items for $5, and we had the brussels sprouts and potatoes au gratin. The restaurant manager, Brian, is so hands-on and attentive. He ensured our dinner was amazing and it was nothing less than the best. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Wild fish is consistent with quality of food and service, both are excellent. Restaurant tends to be loud which for me is a drawback.

As always at Wildfish, everything was perfect. The service was gracious, the food was excellent -- in particular, the lobster tails were some of the best I've ever had -- and noise/energy level was just right, and the wine list was impressive. I chose to go there for my birthday, because it has never once disappointed me.

La comida estuvo excelente, solo que la mesa nos la dieron 45 minutos despues de la hora de la reservacion, pero para compensar nos dieron unos apetizers por cortesia
Por lo demas, la comida y la atencion, excelentes!! 👍🏻

Always amazing food and a trendy setting. It can be loud. The waitstaff will judge you by the first course you order and adjust their attentiveness to how much your bill will be.

Worst part of Wildfish is what to order. Maybe one of the best menus in the city. Food and service always great. The Lemon Sole is great. Everything here is very tasty. It’s not on the cheap, but worth the investment.

We decided to spend our new NYE celebration here so we made a reservation thinking our table would be ready on time. Unfortunately it wasn’t we waited about 30 mins before we were seated. Then after ordering our food took about another 30-40 mins to be ready. I have to say service made a big difference if it wasn’t for my attentive waiter my review would’ve been so different. Food was great ! And they offered us free desert for the long wait, will go back!

Always a very nice experience at Wildfish. Difficult to make any specific food recommendations, as really, everything is quite good. But if I had to choose a very nice meal: Oysters, Lobster tacos; Tuna sashimi; Texas red fish; sautéed spinach. Honestly, you could pick a nice meal just pointing a finger at each course!

The restaurant was extremely loud; we had to shout at each other to be heard. We could not hold a conversation at all. We had a reservation, but a table was not ready. After waiting we were seated next to the bathroom and wait staff service station. The booth seat cushion was old causing me to sink in and the table to be too high. The lighting was so dark I had to pull out my cell phone light to be able to read the menu. We had to wait 10 minutes for extra place settings to be cleared. The wait staff did not know proper dining etiquette and seemed to not be well trained. The reception ladies seemed a bit lost and disorganized. For the price we expected superior food and perfect service and ambience, and this was not the case. The food was very overpriced and mediocre. Stinky cheese on a lobster taco? The only reason to do that is to cover up bad fish. The crab and lobster bisque was bland. The TX red fish was soggy. My husband asked for a medium well filet mignon - half was medium well, half was medium rare. Food presentation was completely lacking - just thrown on a plate basically. Overall we were extremely disappointed.

Great food and service as usual even though they were very busy. Brian, the manager, was very attentive. The salt and pepper shrimp appetizer and the corn chowder are to die for!

Ambience is very nice. Tuna was excellent. Salmon was good, however for the price it should be wild-caught, not farm raised.

Love the food here. My Fiancé has eaten here once before, but it was my first time dining here. We went here for her birthday. Our table was beautifully decorated for her birthday and they made her feel very special with their service!! We ordered for appetizers, the lobster bisque and warm goat cheese salad. Both were excellent. For our main course, we each ordered the Chilean Seabass, which was impeccable, along with the truffle Mac and cheese and broccoli. For dessert we had the banana foster which was outstanding! This restaurant is by far my favorite and I would venture to say that this was the best meal I have ever eaten! We worth the price. Our server, “Nestor“ was the absolute best!! Very personable and had an attention for detail!! I couldn’t have asked for better service, meal or ambiance for this special occasion. It’s definitely a 12 out of 10 stars!!

First time using Open Table and it worked just as it said it would. Table was ready at 6pm, servers were amazing and the food was A+!!! The price might seem a little higher than other places but the quality of food and service make it worth it.

We discovered Wildfish Grill online and went back to treat our son who was home from college and loves good restaurants. The Parmesan crusted sole, lobster bisque, lobster tacos and Godiva chocolate cake are just superb. The calamari is fabulous. The oysters (we got three of each of the four kinds) were fresh and beautifully presented (Thatch Island oysters were my favorite). Our waiter Al was friendly and provided great service without being fussy or too formal . Wonderful restaurant - we will be going back! $$$ but well worth it.

Members of our family of seven ordered everything from cocktails all the way to dessert. The food and service were a 100 out of 100. Our server Gilbert took great care of us and management checked on us several times to ensure all was well. Hostesses were friendly and a server even helped hold the door when we exited. Wildfish was top notch through and though.

Although recommended by friends, we were extremely disappointed with this restaurant. First of all, it was so dark, we had to use our phones to read the menu. Also, very loud music played the entire time making conversation impossible, with a thundering, unrelenting Caribbean base. The service was far below average, and our waiter seemed irritated that we did not order wine. Our drink glasses were completely empty on three different occasions, and they were lukewarm. In addition, our dirty dishes were not cleared, and we sat with dirty plates for a very long time. Mostly, the food just wasn't very good. The fish was bland, and had very little seasoning. The sauces were average and nothing special. We ordered the potatoes au gratin, and they were extremely runny. It was as if someone had poured a quart of milk into the dish. While we do expect to pay these prices for seafood, the seafood should be prepared well and delicious! That was not the case at Wildfish. We ordered the sole, and it was boring and flavorless. I've had better fish from HEB! We also ordered the red fish meuniere, and the sauce was the worst I've ever tasted. It was as though they poured Worcestershire sauce in some flour and called that meuniere sauce. Just awful! Last, but not least, we had the Mediterranean brandino, another completely flavorless dish. We tried salting, peppering, and squeezing a ton of lemon juice on it, but it was still just a piece of boring fish lying on a plate. Very disappointing! The only dish we ordered that was acceptable was the scallops. They were well-prepared and quite good. There was not a single other item that we enjoyed, including the brussel sprouts, which were very average, and the asparagus, that was overcooked. Overall, we were extremely unhappy with this dining experience. The ambience of the restaurant was completely unsatisfactory, the service was poor, and the food was not at all good. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!
