overly crowded to the point that you cant walk , your tripping over people, and the table are literally on top of each other, no space or comfort, I mean you are like eating with your next table and cant talk because its uncomfortable because youre soooooo close. food is very good, a little over priced
There was hard to find the parking. Not clear where to park the car. Price was very high $35 + tax for the buffet. We did not stay there for dinner, we left and went to the next door Noodles restaurant and had a good time and food there.
The food is amazing! The smoked salmon and bluefin tuna sampler is to die for! Highly recommend!
Menu has a huge variety to choose from and love their drink cocktails
Excellent sushi, and I loved the 80s music playing the whole time we were there!
Great place for sushi. I’ve been there many times. Only improvement I would recommend is the bar. The drinks are average to below average unless you get their specials. However, I still love the place and I just need to be specific on my drinks.
Always a treat eating at Wildfish. Ownership and staff are very pleasant and the sushi menu (and specials) are always on target with great variety and flavor. If you’re in the area, it’s well worth the trip.
Try the OMG! It was OMG good!
We tried many items on the menu and shared. The cocktails were great and everything we tried was delish. We had a tuna roll with a shrimp standing on guacamole that was memorable. Golden shrimp app was very good. Yellowtail tuna sashimi with jalapeño and ponzu citrus also very good.
Food is tasty, service is average and ambience is ok. I have eaten here several times and the staff is always very friendly. The food is good, nothing to write home about, but no complaints. I will eat here again and do recommend it. More of an everyday kind of place rather than a special occasion place.
As always we had a wonderful meal with great service and a genuinely appreciative staff. Had the Crazy Chicago will and I was not crazy about that one, but the bluefin sampler with Mango Ponzu was outstanding. So was the Crazy sexy dragon. Now if they would just bring back the Thai Crunch...
Service was awful and it was not that busy. My go to meal has melted cheese ok the sushi and it seemed like it was made and sat hours ago & not warm.
The tuna app was good
Too highly priced
Nothing out of the ordinary for such a high cost meal
Restaurant was understaffed for a holiday Monday. Only had two waiteresses and one was serving as bartender as well. Plus a "manager" that stood around and talked on the cell phone and didn't help the staff when they were slammed. Had to wait a long time for service, the only reason we got served was because we were directly across from the service/register station and we could flag the waitress down. They were very frugal with the wasabi and had to ask twice for extra, by the time we received the wasabi we were just about done with all our food. Had to wait 30 minutes for two rolls and were almost late for our movie. Bluefish in Park Ridge is much better, service and food.
We have gone here for years and love it, great sushi, affordable wine and sushi, totally a hidden gem.
Never a bad sushi experience at Wild Fish!
Wildfish is tucked away in downtown Arlington Heights near the movie theater. They have been a favorite for us for a long time and we need to go there more often! It may be crazy outside, but once you step over the threshold into Wildfish you'll feel yourself relax in the calm interior. This time - maybe for the first time - neither of us had sushi. My husband had a bento box and I had sesame crusted seared tuna - both were excellent. Service was, as always, wonderful.
The food was very good and fresh tasting, just a little pricey for sushi. The restaurant is small but nicely decorated with a relaxing anbience. Tables are a little close together so it will be tight if the restaurant is busy.
Excellent sushi in an interesting location in Arlington Heights
Sushi buffet is very good, and unlimited!
Everything was great!
The bento box was well prepared and proportioned. It was a complete meal and included all of our favorite foods. The service was great and they allowed substitutions on the sushi portion of the box. Can't wait to go back.
Went for a date night. Haven't been there in years but it's just as good as it was back then. Highly recommend the Hamachi appetizer.
It was good sushi. Comfortable setting. The nigiri was very good. Rolls were ok.
The food is fantastic and the presentation is amazing I have been there multiple times and I'm always more then satisfied. I would recommend it for any occasion
Went for early Valentine dinner. They were not good with food allergies. Made several mistakes and could have been bad.
The sushi was excellent. Melt in your mouth sashimi. Nice ambiance too.
This place is great. Once of our favorite date night locations. My husband buys the Groupon every time its available.
When we got to the restaurant, they told us we didn't have a reservation. We had to sit at the bar. I was a little less than satisfied with open table
My son and I went there Friday night for dinner. It took 15 minutes for a waitress to come to our table.
Great food clean place and great service
Service was a bit slow, a bit pricey for small portions.
In the winter, cold air comes in when the door opens.I ate with my coat over my lap and legs.
Best sushi in the area, the service is always excellent! Love the black rice available to use instead of white for healthier option!
Wildfish knew how to make my dad's 79th birthday celebration special. With the green tea ice cream topped with a birthday candle, we sang happy birthday. They took a picture that quickly printed and presented it to us in a nice frame.
Checked in on time at 6pm early enough to be out in time for 7:30 Theater reservation. Order was taken at 6:20 then it took 15 minutes to bring the soup. They seemed to have forgotten about us after that even though we were in the front of the restaurant and it wasn't very busy. At 6:45 pm we reminded them we needed to leave in 35 minutes. Took them 5 more minutes to bring the salad. At 7 we asked where our food was and asked for a manager. At 7:06 they brought out 3 of the 5 entrees, not the sushi and also not the halibut which the waitress said would take an extra 5 minutes. That came at 7:15. The halibut was way over cooked. The manager apologized and gave us sushimi to take home but we had no way to refrigerate raw fish for the three hours we would be at the theater. We ended up not eating the halibut and running out the restaurant with minutes to spare for the show. No reduction to the bill.
Even though we've eaten here before, we won't be going back.
The salmon teriyaki was terrible. It tasted old and had a strong fishy taste. I couldn't finish it. They also noted my open table reservation after mentioning it twice. Terrible experience. I won't be going back for a long time.
We've been to Wildfish a few times now, and each time it's a very nice evening. The food is quite good, and the service is exactly what we appreciate - being attentive without being intrusive. We will go back again sometime soon.
Everything about this dining experience was mediocre. Overall, the sushi was good
but a few pieces were chewy. Service was earnest but lacking. No longer a must when
I visit the Chicago area.
