Great friendly, attentive service. Food was delish. We got the salmon and short ribs. Flourless chocolate cake and key lime pie for dessert. Would definitely go back again
The food and service were not up to par. We visit frequently and were not pleased at all. The salmon portion was small and the server was slow. Not happy at all.
Our server was fabulous. The food was amazing. Chopped salad is a great lunch! Sandwiches were prepared to perfection . Was a very good dining experience as food and service were superb!
The occasion was a business meal for our top sales person of the year and his wife. They picked the location based on recommendations of their friends. It is located in the Tysons Galleria II Shopping Center in McLean. Fairly large restaurant with a separate large bar area with booths. The food was excellent - prime rib (2), flat iron steak and a filet. All were cooked expertly and were very tasty. The sides were also very good as was the wine selection.
The only knock was the service. They were not busy on this Sunday evening but the host practically ignored us when I approached his station and told him of our reservation. Finally a waiter came over and asked if we would like to be seated in the bar or the dining room and we chose the bar. We had a drink and then proceeded to a table. We asked for some help choosing a bottle of wine and it turns out the waiter was under 21 and could not help. He did offer to get any help so I chose a wine and asked him to check with an older waiter or someone experienced in wine. He came back with comments almost straight from the back label of the bottle. Fortunately the wine turned out to be OK.
Overall this was a restaurant that I would visit again but perhaps ask for an experienced waiter.
We came in for a family meal because all my 5 children were in town.
The service was poor and the food we all ordered was well done. We ordered our steaks medium rare and they came out well done. I tried to talk with our waiter about our food and he wouldn't stop. Then we tried desert and that was a let down also. The cheese cake was hard as a rock my 1st coffee was cold and was not fresh. After sitting there waving down our waiter again I was finally able to get the floor manager over to my table. I told her about the cheese cake and coffee and all they did was bring out a new coffee. For $300.00 the meal was very disappointing.
We like to eat at Wildfire but this visit was slightly disappointing. The chef cooked the steak on too high a heat, which shouldn't happen at a restaurant like this. The medium level requested was raw on the inside. The specials and sides were fantastic and the drinks were well made and interesting with fresh ingredients. Our server was practically non-existent but we'll still go back another time.
As always, Wildfire delivered the excellent food and service we have come to expect since it opened in Tysons Galleria. The cornbread served before dinner is among the best we have ever had. The downside is that you want to eat more of it and you get full before your main course. SInce it was St. Patrick's day, we had the corned beef and cabbage. The meat was cooked to perfection as were the accompanying cabbage, potatoes and carrots. The only quibble was the the meat was a bit more fatty than I would call "lean" as in a deli sandwich. For dessert, most of which we took home, we had the two layer chocolate cake. The dark chocolate filling and frosting were scrumptious. Even the coffee was top notch. You can't go wrong at Wildfire for "steakhouse" cuisine.
Food was absolutely delicious. Service for a fine dining expensive meal was less than par. Waiter seemed to be new and inexperienced and should not be working alone. Another waitress was trying to help. Management did state she would send my step-son a gift card. We will return but definitely not have this waiter again. I used to wait tables so I know what is expected.
This place does meat dishes very well. However, my entree salad was not great - the veggies seem premixed (super cold) and the chicken on top tasted like it was just reheated frozen strips (dry and flavorless) Prices are very reasonable though and servicr was good.
Very efficient, friendly service. Food so-so. Nothing to write home about but portions very generous.
The Saint Patrick's Dinner was divine. The corned beef was the best I have ever eaten. Our waiter, Raul, was outstanding and anticipated our needs before we were even aware that we had a need. There are many choices of restaurants in the Tysons Corner area, however, because of the service, food and location this remains our favorite place to eat. It's also easy to find parking and when you finish eating you can walk around the mall, working off your dinner.
Love this place. My first visit was for a holiday business dinner. We had a beautiful private room with one server who was awesome. The Bison meatballs are to live for. This second time I came back for the meatballs and tried many other appetizers with my group. Wildfire is my new favorite restaurant. Love, love, love💕 Highly recommended!
Great place with good service. Good can be little better though
This is one of our favorite restaurants. Consistently excellent quality and service.
We always enjoy eating at Wildfire, starting with the cornbread and continuing with the unique specials.
The wait staff is very attentive.
This is one of the best places in Tysons for a business meal.
We really enjoy eating at Wildfire. Love the bone in ribeye and the chopped salad. We had a great waiter who brought dessert when he heard we were celebrating a birthday. It is our go to restaurant.
First time at the restaurant. Food was very good. Our waiter was exceptional. The table they sat us at was much to close to the other tables. At least 100 folks (customers & staff) passed by my chair with it being bumped into 90% of the time. We slid the table over a bit but that didn't help. I should have asked to be moved but didn't.
Consistently great food and service! Highly recommend!
great restaurant and good eats with wonderful service. only negative was the water
waiter kept reaching across my face to refill glass instead of coming on my side of table
which would have been much better and less disturbing.
Great service, presentation and taste was spot on.
Our server was terrific. But I found the food quality has gone down from previous visits. I had a steak salad, some of it was not edible. (fat and gristle) The quality of the salad items were less than desirable. My companion had french onion soup. it was essentially a bowl of melted cheese. It was replaced when pointed out to the server. He also had a burger which was just average. We shared a key lime pie dessert which was good.
Service and food were great. I recommend requesting seating in the dining room. They have outstanding, customer focused management.
I got a very nice call from the Manager.
Easy to park. Some flavor in meat. Perfect place to take guests who want meat and potatoes with no seasoning except salt and pepper. Not the place for fish or vegetables.
Staff are not service oriented. Not very personable, doesn’t engage with the customers, and cold. Seems they are not happy with their jobs.
Wildfire was a disapointment. Our table wasn't ready so we went to get a drink at the bar and were asked to move to an area "out of the way". Thought that was rude right off the bat. Getting a drink was difficult and the food wasnt that good when we did eat. 3 stars at best, but I wont be back.
We go to Wildfire every 1-2 months. This time we tried the filet wellington and omg was it delicious! I had them top it with parmesan and my husband had it with blue cheese. Paired with wine flight #3 it was fantastic!
Love love love this place!!!!! Truly an amazing time everytime
A good go-to place but the quality has gone down markedly. The place smells a bit and needs some updating. Service and food quality a bit hit or miss and not quite on par with its sister restaurant Mon Ami Gabi. Hope wildfire ups it’s game soon. Great location and good quality. Just needs to improve service and update the look
Service was very slow. Wife’s steak and vegetables came raw.
We are a repeat customer and we love coming to wild fire for late launch normally on Friday afternoon . We ordered various dishes including my husband faverate Blank Ceder Salmon . He always ask for a center cut , this time it was great . Our special dietary needs require no salt and no butter diet . The bread was prepared based on our needs. The server was great and we appreciated his frequent interaction with our party to make sure we were satisfied . Thanks
Our server, John was very attentive and made good suggestions for the meal. The host allowed us to sit along the “wine library” in a booth that is much quieter than the main dining room. However, the bar is always crowded which makes waiting near the hostess stand next to impossible.
One thing to note on this occasion is that there is another entrance to the restaurant from inside the Galleria shopping area and there is a seating area near Isabella’s eatery that allowed us to purchase a pre dinner wine while waiting - which helped a lot!!
Delicious food, excellent service, great ambiance. Loved the atmosphere, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
I have eaten at Wildfire many, many times...but Sunday was a bit of a disappointment. The service was still wonderful, hostesses were spot on but the food disappointed my guests. The kitchen needs to work on presentation as each of their plates did not look appealing. As there are now many options across the aisle at Isabella, Wildfire needs to keep up their image of a dependable dining establishment.
Service was ok.
Never got our appetizers and then main course arrived.
Great food and nice atmosphere made our Aunt’s Birthday celebration enjoyable by alll.
This was our first time at Wildfire. The food was very good. The service was excellent-very friendly, too! Especially loved the house salad. My husband and I split side salad-plenty for 2.
My burger was really good and my husband enjoyed the steak sandwich. We will go back.
I have been to Wildfire many times and it never disappoints. It is somewhere between Del Friscos and Outback. It has the decore of an upscale steakhouse, good service but not as formal as Dels . The food is very good but considerably less expensive than many of the big Steak House chains. The best way to say it is the potato is included. Dinner for three with a above average bottle of wine was less than $300 with tip.
I had the peppercorn filet and was very happy. My guests had the fillet trio and they were also very happy. Everything cooked to order and delivered timely. Not rushed , not dragged out. Just right.
Relative visiting the area. She was impressed with the overall experience. Great food and ambience.
My fiance` brought me there for my birthday and it was both of our first times. Our server June was a pleasure and the food was plentiful. We will return with friends.
Wildfire never disappoints. Our recent visit was for my husband's bday and because I indicated that on my Open Table reservation they brought a dessert w/candle for us to share which was a nice surprise for my husband. Every time we visit Wildfire we wonder why we do not go there more often. We vowed to visit again soon. BTW, we both had the cornmeal crusted cod and it was delicious.
