We met some business associates at this restaurant. The food was excellent. Their butternut squash soup was the best I've had. The restaurant is quite large with several secluded booths for more intimate meeting, though the table we sat at was still quiet enough so that we could talk easily among four people. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for their food, ambiance, and their fine wine selection.

Paper found in salad...unacceptable and table cleared even after speaking with manager who apparently forgot to mention it to the wait staff. Waitress was obviously disgruntled either with us (her clients) or the kitchen crew for leaving paper in my salad?
Not sure i will be returning to Wildfire after this awkward situation.

We've been several times for lunch or dinner. Always great food. Good wines. Nice steaks. Several seating options. For lunch, we typically get booth in bar. This visit was late in lunch hour. Pretty cleared out but we were seated next to presumed local VIP that we didn't recognize. They got all the attention and our meal was slow. First challenged experience for us here. Not typical.

My wife treated me to dinner for Veteran's Day. Another fine dinner at Wildfire. The delicious shrimp and crab bisque and oven roasted seafood platter were complimented nicely by our sauvignon blanc. The Apple pie was a nice finish to the meal.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. We recently dined at Wildfire for the first time and left disappointed. However, the manager followed up with us and provided us with a generous gift certificate to come back. We gave it a second chance and fully loved our meal. Everything came out hot, delicious and timely. We will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends. Liz and Mike

Great spot for our anniversary dinner -- nice to have a quiet booth. Great happy hour and appetizers up until 6 p.m. -- wide dinner menu too. We've been many times before -- will be back. Always a treat to dine here.

I enjoyed my visit and meal. However, I have two concerns about the salads that we ordered. My Kale and Spinach salad had too much cheese mixed in and then it was topped with cheese. You cannot pick out shredded cheese. Second, my guest's Cobb Salad had 3 large romaine ends in it. They were still tasty, but this oversight to detail slightly dropped my food rating on this visit.

Love to eat in a booth in the bar. It is lighted beautifully and is cozy and the noise level is always at a very low level. I always look forward to the seasonal pecan/pistachio crusted halibut.

The roast beef sandwich was FULL of fat pieces. Had to pick through it. Luckily the fries were good and basically I just ate those. I did inform the server who really didn’t seem to care.

I have always really liked Wildfire but this last experience was not good. The food was fine but the service was horrible! Our dinners did not all come out together, the cornbread had a large eggshell in one of the pieces and we waited almost an hour for our food. We asked for water to be refilled twice and it was never refilled. We were celebrating a birthday and needless to say the evening was not what we expected.

We had lunch at Wildfire this past week. It was a last minute decision and since we had not been to Wildfire for some time, we thought we would dine there.

Our waiter was very friendly and professional. He was excellent! We enjoyed his attentive service.

Cornbread was given to us when seated...our first item while we waited for our food. It was good flavored with corn mixed into the batter. We enjoyed it very much.

Next we shared the coconut shrimp appetizer. My wife said it was delicious but would have preferred a sweeter dipping sauce, such as orange marmalade with a little "kick". The shrimp was a decent size, tender, sweet and well prepared.

We shared shrimp/crab/corn soup which was absolutely delicious. Creamy with chunks of vegetables and lots of seafood flavor. Although there was not a lot of crab or shrimp in the soup, its flavor was so good that we didn't miss it.

We also shared the Wildfire Chopped Salad. We ordered the small size which was enormous...plenty for both of us. The salad was crisp with a nice mix of roasted chicken, bacon and other ingredients. The flavor was good but the dressing was a bit bland. We both enjoyed it though.

We also enjoyed the Frank Sinatra era music. Perfect dining music! We will definitely dine their again and would recommend it to friends.

This is my husband's all time favorite restaurant. So we come here pretty often. This occasion was my husband's birthday. We enjoyed the salmon with the soy glaze, it was aaamazzzing!!! The crab cakes are great and the coconut shrimp were heavenly (Yummy). I even enjoyed my waiter, I had him before and he did an excellent job. He didn't come back and check on me every five minute unlike some other places I've been. So I do appreciate that!!! The restaurant seemed busier for a Wednesday night however the food and the service didn't disappoint. I was very much satisfied with my visit!!!!!

This is the second time we have dined at wildfire for my birthday and we will go back again.

We were seated right away and the food eas great, our waiter was excellenr too.

A very nice touch afyer dinner was the surprise molten lava cake they brought out with a candle for me. Had we known that was coming, would not have ordered desert....

That was a very nice ending to our evening.

Had a good dinner with family & our 2 grandchildren. The adults ordered 3 of the chicken dishes & all were quite good. I had the roasted chicken which was very good & good value. Wildfire has a children's menu so the kids were able to get grilled cheese, French fries and macaroni and cheese. Our waitress was great.

I had no idea this restaurant existed, until I did an OpenTable search for restaurants in the Tyson's Corner area and this location popped up. Once I peeked at the menu, I was hooked. From the warm homemade cornbread brought to my table to the shrimp and crab chowder I ordered as an appetizer, I did not know where to start or where to end on the deliciousness that is Wildfire. And I had not even had my main course yet.

For dinner, I wanted steak. That was definite. So I ordered the New York strip steak sandwich, which comes with one side, so I chose the red mashed potatoes. First of all, the sandwich arrived and was massive. Definitely worth the price ($18 at dinner). It was seasoned to perfection and cooked exactly as I requested. Some folks still cannot cook a proper steak. With melted white cheddar cheese, tomatoes and arugula, I was in heaven. The steak was so tender that you could cut it with a spoon. I even requested a bowl of au jus, which went deliciously with the sandwich as well as a "gravy" for my potatoes. The red mashed potatoes were just as my gracious host described them. "If you like your potatoes creamy and delicious, then you will be good to go," he said. And he did not lie. They were some of the best potatoes I have ever had.

In addition, the service was magnificent. I was very well attended a great waiter, whose name escapes me (he's in the bar area). He was not only professional, but offered fantastic recommendations and pairing options. I'd sit in his section anytime. He was so wonderful and made my entire time there less of a typical dinner and much more of a wonderful dining experience.

In closing, this has been one of the best restaurants I have visited in the DMV area in a very long time. There wasn't a thing I ordered that I did not LOVE and enjoy. I cannot wait to come back and explore the menu further and I hope to have the same enjoyable experience as I did on my inaugural visit.

Thanks Wildfire!

We love this restaurant. We were there to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. We love the warm corn bread. The wild Fire salad is another favorite. Everyone had the steak which were cooked perfectly. I had a chicken dish with arugula and artichokes. YUM! Important: SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT! Another great experience.

I made a reservation for a group of ten (bridal shower) for Saturday brunch/lunch. The restaurant called the day before to confirm. The day of, I arrived a little early to get things ready, and they let me sit at the table before everyone arrived. Our group arrived at different times and didnt order together, but the waitress handled everything very efficiently/tactfully. The food was really good (portions were generous too, except for the kabob appetizer). We ended up staying for over 2 hours. Would definitely go again!

When going to Wolf Trap, WILDFIRE remains a solid favorite place to dine before a show. Modeled with an Art Deco theme, the place is gorgeous! If you take the elevator up to the restaurant, you'd have no idea you were sitting inside a local mall! The place is elegant. As for the food, it's all amazing. My friend and I each had the Filet Medallions with potatoes. Try them-they are well prepared, each with its own unique topping--the Blue Cheese being my favorite! For dessert, we had a trio sampler which was just right for two people to share. The service here is always excellent and our waiter was highly attentive to the fact we had show to go to. Truly, a neighborhood gem from the get go and still going strong for more than a decade!
