Wildfire - Schaumburg Ratings and Reviews
Everything wonderful, put us up in a private room, which was great. Food was delicious and tasted good. Jennifer was one of the best servers we have ever had. She was on time with everything, attentive, great service, outstanding attitude, you can tell she goes out of her way for the customer. That means alot, I believe she is what gives the restraunt its good name. Thank you Jen, and Wildfire for this great experience..
We were seated as soon as we walked in. Reception was friendly. Our server was funny and had great knowledge about the menu. The appetizer was quick and delicious. The entrees were perfect. The Crusted Filet Medallions are my new favorite.
We will be back and will bring more friends.
The service was as usual friendly informative and prompt. This is the first time we had the cheddar baked potato. We found it to be very tasty and more than enough for two people. We both ordered the romainian skirt steak because it was highly recommended by our children. We were disappointed in the taste. It seemed to be entirely different than the way it was described to us and is not something we will probably order in the future.
When we checked in we were told it would be 45 minutes.. after an hour and 40 minutes of waiting at the bar, we ordered dinner.
Seats were open at the bar, but it took 15 min to be acknowledged.
By the time our table was ready, our food was coming out.
Our server did remember our anniversary, which was nice. We felt bad we took up a table, but didnt need much.. so we still tipped her well.
Typically we go to wildfire for the consistently good food. But this visit was disappointing. The baby back ribs were dry. The seafood platter was over priced for the piece of salmon, 1 crab cake, 3 scallops, 2 coconut shrimps. Would have been better to order a single seafood item. Filet mignon was ordered medium but it came out rare. Even after having it recooked, it was still rare on the inside. Disappointing that they couldn't get the steak cooked properly and patron ended up with no steak for dinner when everyone else at the table were eating their entrees.
I really enjoyed our visit to Wildfire. The oven roasted seafood platter was delicious, and I ordered the Brussels sprouts from the specials menu. We were so satisfied with the food that when the waitress came with the dessert tray, we had to decline. Overall, this was a phenomenal meal.
We decided to try this location for my grandmothers birthday, I don’t know what it is but this location isn’t as good as the one in oakbrook, our order always gets messed up, we had a slice of cheesecake and it was beyond terrible, love wildfire but don’t think we will be back to this location.
Our server Tom was awesome. The food was very good. As this was a Christmas Eve dinner the decor was very disappointing not a holiday feel. We arrived early and had a drink at the bar. The service at the bar was very poor overpriced drinks very unfriendly bar staff.
Our party of six had a diversity of meals. The almond crusted alaskan cod was outstanding. The party having the roumanian skirt steak highly recommended it for its flavor and tenderness. The surf and turf and the prime rib were prepared exactly as ordered. Considering we were there on Christmas eve and the place was packed, service was prompt and friendly.
