Celebrating a birthday and service was great.
Jamie R. was wonderful as always. Excellent service and food.
Decided to do a quick lunch. I have been to many Wildfire’s for lunch and dinner many times. You can always count on the food and service to be top notch and for lunch especially they will get you in and out quick if need be or allow you to linger if that’s your preference.
The only negative thing is that the price seems to have creeped up over the years. We had the crusted cod and stuffed burger with only water and with tip the bill was over $40. I’m thinking a total with tip of $30 for lunch would be reasonable. Just my opinion.
The food was good, I ordered my steak medium well but it was more towards well done. The waiter offered to make me a new one but by the time it was ready, my guest would’ve been done eating so I declined. He did take the charge off my bill. Service was good.
my girlfriend and i are frequent diners at wildfire and this time i would say was the least i have enjoyed the food. the au jus with the filet was completely off from its normal taste which didn't provide the steak with additional flavor
Food was very good , waiter one of the best , only problem was the busboy ,kept asking me to hand him dish and rappers for a straw will I was eating, he’d to tell get the hell away !
Visited the Schaumburg location while in the Chicago area on business. Decided on this restaurant based on recommendations from locals. Was not disappointed! Reservation made for a group of 10 on a Saturday night at 7:30 - prime time! We arrived a few minutes before, the place was packed, but our table was ready and waiting. Our waiter Matt was very engaging and took excellent care of us. Atmosphere was upbeat and lively but not overpowering. At our table of ten, I could still talk with those at the other end of the table without screaming. Highly recommend.
Great food. Great waiter. Slightly tight area and was bumped by another waitress twice while sitting in my chair.
My dear friend of 65years and his wife had dinner with us as he prepared our new wills, POA’s and Trust. We were given a nice quiet table, wonderful waiter and great wine and food. It was a perfect way for us to say thanks to our friends.
The food was good.
Our server could not understand how to handle the order for someone who had an allergy to certain types of food. They insisted on serving the food plain....
Next time listen to what is being said.
While the food was exceptional, we felt as though our server was rushing us and did not give us much attention. The room we sat in was very crowded and we had to raise our voices to hear each other talk. Overall it was an adequate dining experience, but I expected more from a higher end restaurant.
Deeply disappointed on what was suppose to be a special occasion celebration. Our Open Table reservation, which was made several weeks in advance, was acknowledged without their taking note of our special request. Instead of being seated at a booth in the Main Dining room, as requested, we were seated in a booth in the bar area. We then waited 10 minutes before the waitress arrived, 20 minutes for the bread, then received our appetizers and main course within 2 minutes of each other. My filet mignon was also disappointing, having a huge fatty area in the center. Finally, they didn't acknowledge our special occasion, until we brought it to the attention of the waitress. Our only satisfaction of the night was the reduction in the bill, which the waitress gladly fought for and applied with approval of the manager on duty.
Everything was great!
Very loud room this time. Food was great as always.
Stick to steak. We went with our kids for lunch- everyone devoured their steaks. I ordered a steak salad- the lettuce was old and the steak was full of fat and gristle. Wish I had went with the filet duo instead. The service was was great and the kids enjoyed their meals. Would go back with a different order next time.
We all had a wonderful meal, all the food was cooked right and very flavorful. The flavor and tenderness of the Bison Filet with the coffee rub was amazing. I strongly recommend the cheddar double-stuffed potato!! We were a party of seven and felt the experience was great.
Wildfire has been a favorite of mine for years. always great food & service.
As always, Wildfire delivers a great meal with enjoyable ambiance. Whether one sits down in the dining room to eat, or merely enjoys drinks and appetizers at the bar, it's always a great place to be.
Food was outstanding as usual ! Love this restaurant .... Our waitress could have been a little more attentive, had to track her down for refills on drinks every time and for a few other issues
Most times the staff is very attentive
Wildfire is always consistent no matter which location you go to. Food is delicious and very consistent.
Went for Dad's birthday, they brought a lava cake with ice cream and a candle, Food was good, wonderful time.
Love coming to Wildfire...the quality of food is well worth the price. The amount of food usually leaves some to take home. Had a great meal!! And desserts are yummy and large enough to share. I appreciate that Wildfire includes a side with the main entree. Wildfire is one of my standby favorites and I go to different locations several times a year.
The food and service are excellent, but the place is always so chaotic.
I used to enjoy Wildfire with friends, due to the variety of options and good food; however, the quality of food has gone down. Calamari was incredibly salty, steakhouse salad special came drenched in dressing and they had to remake it. French onion soup was cold, and bisque was so-so, prime rib was not cooked as ordered. The service was ok- it was a busy Saturday night; however, we waited 15 minutes to pay our bill while we watched the waitress chat with her co-workers. Definitely feels like a chain restaurant now.
I absolutely LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT. From the food, atmosphere, and our server Hector. It was more than I expected and I will definitely be back.
Oh and special thanks to Phil for letting me add one more to our group at the last minute.
Thanks a million!!!!!!!!!!!!
We keep going back we are never disappointed the food is awesome
A party of four, two ordered prime rib, almost the worst we ever had.
Great food. We are never disappointed at Wildfire. Took my 13 year old nephew for his birthday. He always requests going to Wildfire.
Went there for my birthday and could not have been more disappointed. We were seated in a back "meeting room" type of space with two large families with small children. It felt more like eating at a Chucky Cheese than a nice steakhouse. Our server was extremely inattentive to say the least. Drinks went unfilled and he never checked up on us to see if we needed anything. We have dined here several times and have always loved the food but this time the steaks were flavorless and tough. We finally were able to ask for our check and it took nearly 15 minutes for our server to bring it to our table. I would however like to commend the bus staff as they were hard working and very attentive to our needs. Sad that on a special occasion we left feeling like we were undervalued patrons.
Just so so. Nothing special this time. Filet was good, cottage fries were burnt and tasted or charcoal. Service was good.
Place was very busy .... lot’s of birthday parties.
Great food and lovely service too!
This place has changed and not for the better. The service is not what it used to be. It took 20 min to get service and longer to get drinks. We had to ask for everything. Sat and watched the bus boy do laps while accomplishing nothing. Dirty tables everywhere. Chris the hostess was very friendly and sat us right away in the requested section so that was a positive. Menu and specials never seem to change. Not planning on going back. This used to be my favorite restaurant.
The best restaurant and experience like we always do have ❤️💯
Very good service and the food was as good as ever. Can’t wait to go back.
Sarah was our waitress and she knew every aspect of the menu; we had several questions & she had all the answers. We each had their petite filet, which was a generous 7 oz. cut; they were “melt-in-your-mouth” delicious!! Can’t wait to find a reason to get back again!
Mandy was a fabulous server!
Absolutely all around 5 stars. I had the special - Parmesan crusted cod with au gratin potatoes. My fiancé had a horseradish filet, bacon wrapped and the red skin mashed potatoes. Drink we’re an old fashioned and the house merlot. Amazing. The cod dish came with a lemon butter and tomato jam. I wanted to inhale it but that wouldn’t have been ladylike. With the filet, you could taste the smokey grilled flavor. Cooked perfectly, too. I also have to note the old fashioned. My fiancé is ULTRA PICKY when it comes to that drink and he applauded it as well as ordered another. Our server was sweet as pie and very helpful and friendly. Fantastic experience. Will definitely be back again.
The food at Wildfire is always excellent. I recommend the bone-in ribeye!
Wonderful as usual !
Yet another fabulous lunch @ wildfire Schaumburg to celebrate the first day of a new employee. We frequent Wildfire for business lunches and will continue to do so. Caleb was a fantastic and attentive waiter!
