Everything was good. The Martinis were great!😋
Had a great time food was excellent waiter was great.
My mom & I love the Wildfire chain, but we’ve never received such terrible service as we did last night. We made a reservation for 7:15, arrived on time, but were handed a buzzer to wait for a table to open. After waiting 20 minutes with no table yet, we decided to grab a high top table in the bar. As always, the food and drinks were fantastic, but our waiter ruined the entire experience. You could tell he wasn’t in the mood to serve or simply doesn’t like it. He was very quick with us, never smiled, and dropped things on the table instead of setting them gently. We both ordered salads, and when he was cracking black pepper over my salad he got it all over my lap instead of my salad. Overall, not a great experience.
Great time with excellent food and service!
Great service great food, good desserts. Our server was spot on in his recommendation
I had reservations for two people and was seated directly in front of the kitchen. When I asked to move to a quieter booth they wouldn’t give me one of the open booths but instead offered me a table in the bar! I could understand if I didn’t have reservations and the other booths were occupied but this was ridiculous. Food was fair service was average. Very pricey considering the ambiance was disappointing
My husband and I LOVE to go to WildFire for our date nights. Great seafood, great steak! The steaks are so good, we really haven't tried much else on the menu!!
Our server Antonio was AMAZING. He made my mother's birthday dinner very enjoyable, and he was very attentive to our needs.
We were seated at the edge of the bar in a booth. It was very cold and drafty there. It was also very distracting because the servers computer was right next to our table. At times there would be 3 servers basically standing next to our table waiting to use the computer. We could over hear their casual conversations. It was awkward.
Not sure where the draft was coming from, but the booth was cold. My husband and I kept our scarves on during our meal and my daughter wore her coat. In hind sight, I should have mentioned it, but I figured there was nothing that could be done about it other than moving and I didn’t want to make a scene.
We have been coming to Wildfire for 20 yrs and I didn't think the quality of the steaks were what I am used to. I don't know maybe it was just an off night. It did seem like the overall service of the employees were diff people working there.
An Absolute "CAN'T MISS", for a GREAT meal, great service. Highly recommend!!
Wildfire was wonderful. Our server was excellent, friendly and handled multiple tables with great efficiency. The food was incredibly delicious. We’d go back for the complimentary tools and corn bread alone. Only caution is that it isn’t conveniently located for handicapped persons.
Our server was inattentive and disappointing. We didn't even get water refills without asking multiple times.
Food is great as always. Service was good. But when I made reservation I stated it was my wife's birthday and then reminded them upon being seated. They still did not bring out a slice of cake with a candle. In the past they were automatic. Disappointed
This was my first visit to Wildfire and I absolutely enjoyed my experience.
We have never been disappointed in the food or service at the Oak Brook location. It is always packed, tables are extremely close together, and it is always fairly loud, but none of that prevents us from going back!
We go almost every year for our anniversary and absolutely love it every year!!! The noise level is a bit high for a quiet romantic dinner but no so loud that you can not comfortably talk and have a conversation. It also depends on where you sit. The main floor in front of the kitchen is interesting to sit and watch the kitchen happenings. Food is always top notch and always willing to do what they can to accommodate food requests. (i.e. different crust, little extra grill time, etc) Love it and can not wait to go again!
This particular location was not a good selection. I have eaten at Wildfire before at the Schuamburg location and it was awesome. The Oak brook location wasn't good. The waiters were okay its just that they reach over your food and their sleeves from their shirts touched my daughter food. Also, i had the Prime Rib and it was not good at all it was very tough and not tasty at all. I was really surprised even my wife's salmon wasn't tasty along w/ the lamb chops my daughter ordered were not tasty. So I will not be attending the Oak brook, IL location again. Very surprised and unsatisfied.
We have been to this location numerous times to celebrate birthdays. We usually gets good food and service. We were seated promptly to our table/reservation. It seems this time the chef overcooked the prime ribs and hamburger to the next higher level of doneness for this visit. It was a very busy Saturday for dinner at 5:00 PM. Otherwise, the prime rib was tasty as usual. We will return again.
I made a reservation about a week ahead of time for a party of 7. The table was a little small for 7 of us. Once we got our food in was crazy, there was no room for anything! I had to balance my veggies on another plate. The food was good, a bit expensive but good. Our waiter was wonderful.
Usually my family and I enjoy Wildfire but yesterday we were disappointed. The service was incredibly slow so much so that we did not order dessert and had planned to. The food was so-so. My mom had never been to Wildfire and we went there based on my recommendation. I doubt we will get her to return. For $75 I should love lunch.
Excellent entrees although sides are a little pricy. Great martinis and nice dessert selections. Friendly wait staff.
Always a favorite restaurant. Ordered the bison steak and it was raw inside. Sent back to the kitchen and it came out very dry and over well done. Besides that everything was great including service.
Just so so
It was mediocre and bad service . Steak was not a filet and waiter was terrible and dismissible of us
Very intimate, romantic atmosphere. The food us first rate with service to match. I would highly recommend Wildfire in Oak Brook for a wonderful dining experience.
Great restaurant. Brought an out of town friend here for his birthday and we both loved it! The service was fantastic, our server was attentive, and the food.. speaks for itself. Just amazing across the board.
We had the awesome chopped salad, which they are famous for, and then split an entree and a bottle of wine. Perfect dinner for 2.
If you have a choice, and it's just 2 of You, ask for something other than those big booths.
Great bison meat
We had the best waiter, his name was Anthony. Food was delicious, as usual. We normally go to the Lincolnshire location but decided to take my sister out. She is recovering from her third bout with cancer. Everything was good but it was a bit noisy, maybe because of the lunch hour...very crowded.
Always a good experience at Wildfire
The Wild Fire restaurant is a nice restaurant. I would recommend them to family and friend.
My family went to Wildfire for a birthday lunch. The waiter started out great. Pleasant & attentive. But after the apps course he basically left us. Our main course was served with all the empty dishes stacked up on our very small booth table. We had no room to eat. We had to stop a gentleman that I assume was management to ask for help. We also had to ask for drink refills, none were offered. To top it all off, the bench seat on my mother's side sat so low my mom's face was basically table height. It was not a great experience. We've eaten here before without incident, so this was unexpected.
Made reservations, arrived early and went to the bar. 45 minutes later and 15 minutes after our reservation, we were told they were running late. Only after I asked for a manager did we get seated 30 minutes late.
They bought our appetizer but did not tell us until we asked.
We have been going there for almost 20 years, but we have plenty of other choices.
Always liked Wildfire, usually go tp Lincolnshire or Glenview. I was not disappointed.
The food was delicious. The server was very efficient and friendly. I had made a reservation 10 days before hand but we still waited over 20 minutes to be seated and we were there 10 minutes early so it was really 30 minutes to get our table. .Other than that everything was great.
Food was great! Our server Jason M was excellent and very attentive to all our needs...great service!
The worst cosmopolitans I have ever had. Waiter said they were from a mix. A mix got $12 plus extra for grey goose. You need to send your bartender to classes
Service was incredibly slow. Our table was extremely close to the serving tables and the wait staff kept bumping into our chairs. We waited over 30 minutes for our check.
When we got home, we realized the server forgot to serve french fries.
