We love Wildfire… and I must give kudos to our server. He was awesome!
Our service was the absolute best!!!
Other than flies hovering around our food and heads (and other patrons complained) the e periwinkle e was an 8 out of 10.
Do-over fir an 80th BD celebration.
Great food and service. It was nice to dine outside.
The main reason we went was to let my Grandaughter’s boyfriend try the delicious cornbread..instead they had rolls that weren’t warm..the kids had the bourbon beef tips & on the web sight it looked like there were four and they got two..we drive an hour to get there…have never been disappointed, but this time didn’t meet our expectations!!!
Excellent lunch. Food and service was great. Great place to meet people.
Pre-pandemic, Wildfire was my favorite western suburb restaurant. Last evening was our first post-pandemic visit. Wildfire is struggling to regain their excellence. I was disappointed in the food quality and the service.
We had the Monday night special which was fried chicken. I've been curious about it for some time, but since I generally go to Wildfire on Mondays I had not tried it before. So glad I did. The chicken was absolutely delicious. Yum!
As usual, Wildfire never disappoints! Their red skin mashed potatoes are a hit and NY strip great. Highly recommend for any occasion!
beware of the 3% “surcharge” with no meaning on the bottom of the menu. the servers werent even able to tell you what it was for.
Needs more frequent cleaning in both dining room and bathroom
Who closes at 9 PM on a Saturday night? We weren't rushed out by staff but I didn't even think to check a closing time as I never heard of a large restaurant closing that early.
Very loud restaurant, but can't go wrong with the food. It never disappoints.
Overall experience was good.. ordered pork chops medium well.. pork chops were a little over cooked.. but were done over and cooked well!!
Although it was a very hot, humid evening, the patio was fairly comfortable. Our server could not have been more pleasant or attentive and, as always, the food was fabulous.
The food and service was excellent. You have the best martini's.
It was my husband's birthday and he picked Wildfire. His favorite steak. We used to visit quite a lot, but haven't been in quite awhile. I didn't realize the menu had changed so dramatically and the vegetarian options were gone. I am vegan, but I can do vegetarian in a pinch. We were seated right away and had a nice table. Our server, I'm sorry I don't remember his name, seemed rushed and super busy. I wouldn't say friendly. I worked in foodservice for a long time myself, so I know being a server is really hard work. First he brought us bread, but no napkins or silverware. We ordered a couple drinks and he spilled a lot of it on the table making our glasses very sticky. A few minutes later, we got napkins and cutlery. Very helpful. After looking over the menu, I asked our server if the chef ever made vegan dishes on request. Our server told me there were 300 people waiting for steaks and chops, so no, the chef didn't have time to make something special for me. He said because of COVID many ingredients just aren't stocked anymore. I said I understood as I knew this was a steak place, but geez, he could have been a little cooler about it. He kind of laughed when I asked the question. Couldn't you have one vegetarian option? Just one? We were ready to order, but he walked away. When he came back, we ordered. I got roasted veggies and a side salad. The veggies were really mushy and no mushrooms at all. My husband loved his filet. When he ordered it well done, our server said it would be butterflied to make sure there was no blood. Blood?? We both almost gagged when he said that. Why are we talking about blood in our food? As a vegan, that's already disgusting, but wow, thanks for taking me there. After dinner, as our server approached lighting the candle on the bday cake, he said, "I don't know what you're celebrating, but here you go." Odd presentation. The celebration dessert is always a classy touch though. Overall, disappointing for a place we used to love.
Been going to Wildfire for many years. The last couple of times just wasn't the same. A little disappointed in the staff. Had a reservation and was seated. After we were sitting already they said sorry have to move you to another table. The table was right across where we were seated. Now we were in direct sun and they had no fans outside. Raining , humid and when you asked someone for something they never brought it. Felt sorry for our server. She was so warm.
We were in a side room and the table was directly under a cold air vent, also the room was very plain and stark. Think that room needs to have some work to make it more welcoming and comfortable.
The service, drinks and food was superb. I took my husband there for his birthday and they did not disappoint.
Great food! Service is superb! Ambience is old world. I would definitely recommend the place. We’ve been going there for years & never gets tired of it.
Had a wonderful evening with friends! Excellent food and drinks!
Going away dinner with long time friends. They ran late due to movers, but we were able to get our outside table when they arrived. Server was very attentive. All our food was excellent. (My only wish is they would offer a bread or roll other than the onion roll… )
Great food. Excellent service.
Great waiter ! And great food
The good was delicious. Service great also. I requested a table in the main dining room and that request was fulfilled! Everowas great!
We have always enjoyed dining at Wildfire, though obviously not during the pandemic. We found your prices have risen significantly, and also didn't appreciate a 'convenience fee' being added to our bill. Our waiter removed it, but it seems like a "sneaky" move.
We always come back here when we are in the area. Love everything about you
Awesome food...awesome service...definitely will go again.
The host to see it us for a 630 reservation very rudely told us we could not stay longer than two hours. At two hours the restaurant was half empty so he didn’t feel pressured and we were ready to go anyway but it could’ve been done in a much kinder fashion at the beginning.
Calamari app was okay. 2 steaks, both burned to black. Crust too hardened on both. MR center on Strip was fine, MR on petite filet was rare/blue. We didn’t require them to take steaks back. Just ate them and headed Home. Service was great as expected. I appreciated the birthday brownie…. But, not good when the small, free dessert was the star of the show on $125 tab plus tip. My grill and Costco would have been a far better choice.
Very nice and our server even brought a piece of birthday cake with a candle! Very special birthday lunch with my best friend! Thank you.
Closed to early
Birthday, waitress was Very inattentive
We decided on Wildfire for my birthday as it had been quite a while since we were there last. Everything was great and we agreed to come back again soon.
We always enjoy Wildfire and so appreciate their complimentary small dessert on special occasions, like my mother in law's 95th birthday.
Jason M was a GREAT server! Knowledgeable of the menu and happy to serve and was just great. The great service he provided made the dinner outstanding as the food was great too but if the food is good and service is bad the whole meal is ruined. Thanks Jason
24th Anniversary with my spouse.
Still a great place to get a really good meal
