Busy night, however attention from wait staff seemed to be better at other tables besides ours. Food was ok, steak was over cooked and rather dry. Asparagus was not cooked at all. Very raw tasting.
My steak was burned. Didn't send it back as I would have to wait so long. It actually tasted burned.
Usually it is very good.
The best food
The best service
The best drinks
In all of Chicagoland!
Thank you all for such great memories
Each time we dine in Oakbrook!
Birthday dinner. The halibut was outstanding
We have been going to Wildfire for years and it never disappoints. Great food and service.
Amazing service. Food is always good. Drinks were outstanding.
Great food and the service was wonderful as well.
Dinner with business associates. Always a great dinner
Our waiter Jay was friendly and provided excellent service!
The server was amazing. She was friendly and easy to talk to. Did not take long for the food to come out. When we ran out of bread other staff offered to fill it for us. We had a great time. Will definitely be going back,
I love the chop salad. Our waiter, Anthony, was fantastic!
Wildfire is my "go-to" place to celebrate my wedding anniversary. Love it!!!!
We love Wildfire, mine and my Husband’s favorite restaurant. It was our Family Sunday-funday and we wants to treat our boys to a nice restaurant that we love! We had to wait longer than usual for a server to come greet our table. The manager went about and beyond to take our drink order, any appetizers while waiting for a server. Everything after that point, service was excellent, food was terrific and manager even came back to check on us and asked how we we’re doing.
The food was delicious and the service was exceptional!
Our waitress Ryain [ spelling is probably wrong] was wonderful , very happy and accommodating.
Wow. This was probably the worst food I've ever eaten.
Appetizer - crab cakes. Tastes like someone opened a can of crab, made a patty, browned on each side and served it up.
Main Dish - filet. Cooked as requested, but zero flavor. Room temperature.
Sides - broccoli was RAW!!! Au gratin potatoes tasted like someone cut up a potato, dumped milk on it and microwaved for 30 seconds. Not even remotely warm.
Everything was so awful we didn't even order dessert or coffee. We just wanted to leave!
Server seemed agrivated with us when 2 of the 4 dinners came out wrong. One of the 2 steaks came back over done a second time. Will not be returning
The food is outstanding. Never disappoints. Always on point.
We were celebrating a friend’s birthday. Our dinner was delicious, & Ryan, our server, was excellent. Very personable & accommodating.
Absolutely - the best macadamia nut halibut I have ever had.
I loved everything about this restaurant . The staff was clean, respectful and the scenery was beautiful. The noise was a perfect amount, it was all around perfect. I will be back ❤️
Amazing place and food, I highly recommend this restaurant.
A steak that was ordered was quite fatty.. disappointing. Halibut and orange roughy were excellent!
April 12th was my birthday. Spending my evening at Wildfire was amazing
My 47th birthday after a long day at Star Wars Celebration in Chicago
Always a great meal! Love Wildfire!
Outstanding restaurant. Superb steaks. Friendly and knowledgeable waiter. Fast service.
Service was good.
The dining room needs a touch up.
Over all it is still one of the best places to take a family for a great meal.
The bone-in filet mignon was an outstanding piece of meat but badly grilled. A part of it was medium-well and another part rare. The waitress had only no answers. We asked for 3 crab cakes instead of two. The answer was, I don’t think we can do that. I never heard that a reputable restaurant would not add another serving to an appetizer and just charge more for it. She didn’t even bother to ask the chef. One guest asked for red wine, a bland. She said, “do you want Pinor?” “No, I want a bland.” “Do you mean a glass of Cab?” “No, I wan a bland.” We really don’t know what she eventually ordered since she had no idea what a bland was. The noise was also too much.
So, even though the meats there were great, the service was not competent, the noise too much and the meat not good in the right temperature. Was that worth the $260 for 3 people? Not at all
It was very nice. Great service!
My husband and I had a lovely time at Wildfire for lunch. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess and led to a very nice table. We ordered the shrimp and crab bisque to start along with the meatballs appetizer and also the crab cake appetizer, all which we enjoyed. Our favorites were our entrees though. I had the special parmesan crusted cod with green beans and it was divine! My husband had the bison burger and loved it. We would absolutely order these entrees again.
Our only disappointment was that we were so full that we could not order the Door County cherry pie. We need to go back soon to try that because it looked so good. Our waitress was ever so attentive and helpful and we had a very lovely dining experience. We just wish it was closer to our home.
Went for lunch and had the parmesan crusted cod, very good. This restaurant has an extensive gluten free menu for which, as a celiac, I am truly grateful. We usually dine here for dinner and I am never disappointed. If you have celiac, make sure you let your server know so they can alert the kitchen. Wildfire is worth the time and the opportunity to get a great meal. Make reservations well in advance and enjoy!
Did the club supper menu and our waiter was excellent and got the food and order placed very fast. Great meal!
We like to eat at Wildfire because they handle food allergies like a pro! I have celiac, and our server was on top of the gluten free options and told us how serious Wildfire takes allergies. The food was fantastic, everything was gluten free and labeled as “allergy”. I even had some of their gluten free bread...yum!
If I want a good steak dinner, Wildfire is one of my go to restaurants.
A great meal and they were able to accommodate a late increase in the number of people attending. I look forward to returning.
Food was delicious! Our server was especially engaged and helpful
Wildfire in Oak Brook is always a great experience. I am always greeted with a friendly smile. Our server was informative with the specials and made recommendations. The appetizers came rather quickly with the meal to follow. The server checked on us frequently which was appreciated. The only downfall was it was crowed and where we were sitting was a little close to another couple.
The service was spectacular, atmosphere inviting and relaxing. The food was great, however it could have been warmer. It wasn’t cold by any means, we just expected it all to be warmer than it was. We had steak, parm crusted Cod, mashed and au gratin potatoes. I’ll definitely be back!
The service is usually very good but it failed miserably with several mistakes such as, the waitress made errors in the explanations regarding the specials, not bringing a drink, steak was missing a crust, 2 vegetable sides were served when only one was ordered, and the wrong bill was brought to us. It was not exceptionally busy so I don't think that was the problem. This was a special occasion and we were extremely disappointed with the service.
