Really appreciate the fact that you have such an extensive gluten free menu. I have celiac disease and am very careful about where I eat out. The times that I have come to your resturant , I have never had a problem afterwards and have always loved the food. When I eat out, I often suggest that we go to your restaurant if it is convenient for the other parties, who also enjoy your food.
We've been to Wildfire in Glenview at least every other month if not more. However, today was quite unusual. Just a couple of things that caused me to say that. Our server never once looked at us. Didn't take our menu's away after ordering; they stayed on the table until our food came. Took our bread plates away without asking if we would like more. And after we paid the check and was sitting and talking for a spell, she came not once, but twice to refill the salt and pepper shakers. Like I said, quite unusual service for Wildfire. We wrote it off as having a bad day and wanted to get out of there.
The atmosphere was wonderful and service was outstanding. Your greeted at the door and seated immediately. They have several large rooms which will accommodate numerous customers which allows them to eliminate waiting time. The service staff is very accommodating and jovial which makes your dinner that much nicer.
We haven’t been to Wildfire for three weeks. That was a mistake. On a Monday night the restaurant was busy. Service was provided by Johanna and she was a pleasure. Great smile and very professional. We started with a Wedge Salad followed by Barbecue Chicken and Ribs with sweet potato and coleslaw. I never had the Barbecue Ribs before. They were fall off the bone, tender DELICIOUS. Goodbye Gale Street Inn. I’ll never drive for one hour to get my Ribs anymore. The Sweet Potato with brown sugar was incredible. Add a bottle of McMurray Pinot Noir and our dining experience was outstanding.
Delicious food, three of us had the Halibut and we all loved it!! I especially liked the mini dessert assortment. Three small portions of Key Lime Pie, Peanut and chocolate confection and a wedge of Snickers dessert, which was my favorite!!
We live celebrating special occasions at this restaurant !!
Our visit for an early dinner was equally good as previous visits. Lettuce Entertainment restaurants are uniformly excellent.
We had a lovely time celebrating Mother’s Day !
Service was excellent !
Everything was great except I got an email from Open Table stating I did not show up for the reservation. Apparently the person who checked us in forgot to hit the button that we did in fact make our reservation. Kind of annoying.
Every time we visit this Wildfire location we have a grwat experience. Food, staff and atmosphere are all fantastic.
Went there for a family celebration. Asked for a table that we could hear one another and got it. Service was good, food was good - our waitress overheard us talking and brought an on the house treat!
Gracious service; good food, including steaks and halibut with lemon-butter when (when halibut in season). Good selection of wines, including by glass. Excellent pies. Quiet in mid-afternoon; noisier at peak hours.
Everything went well except the Fillet Mignon was supposed to be medium well...but it was cooked too long and therefore it was too tough.
The food was delicious, the service was great, but the noise level was quite loud. Over all we enjoyed our meal.
Made a reservation for 4 to celebrate a birthday, asking for birthday dessert and a booth. Two friends had to drop out of reservation, so expected to lose the booth when we got there. We were seated immediately at a booth and had Karen B. as our server. She explained the specials and gave us great responses to our wine questions. She did not rush us but always available to us. We each had the salmon entree with the brown sugar glaze. It was delicious! She asked for a large baked potato and it was huge! I had the roasted vegetables and they were great! We shared the ice cream dessert that came with a birthday candle! Overall, a great evening!
Server was inattentive and my 45 dollar steak was over cooked.
Outstanding service, thanks Mary Beth!
Dinner was very pleasant with good service, good food, pleasant atmosphere.
Always have good service and food is never disappointing. Love the steak selection.
If I wanted to sit in the loud bar I would have specified that during my reservation. Waitress wasn’t really friendly. My food was cold and there was no remedy offered.
Mother's Day is busy, but Wildfire Glenview did not rise to the occasion. They can do better.
Service was slow and it was crowded. My wife ordered a filet and it was overcook as was my chicken from my sandwich. Service should be more attentive and Lettuce Entertain You should NOT have "blackout dates" for points. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Pun intended!
We enjoyed the restaurant. The food was great. However, our waitress was a bit rude maybe it was because it was Mother's Day and it might have been quite busy
We had a person in a wheelchair-
When the reservation was made we didn’t know the person would be in a wheel chair.
It was difficult, at best, to get to the table they assigned us. However, we passed 4 (I counted) tables that would have been so much better for the situation.
Nice restaurant for Mother’s Day! Easily accommodated a group of seven with a reservation. Very enjoyable.
I was celebrating Mother’s Day & my birthday! We got there a bit before our reservation & we were able to sit at our table. The waitress was energetic and superior friendly.
Wildfire is always excellent from the food to the service. Not a great table for 4!wedged into a small area and right next to the entrance to the room. Probably should be set for 2. Overall very good though.
Mother’s Day brunch
Bacon wrapped scallops were excellent, by far our best dish. Halibut very good as well. Other dishes were just average.
My husband was treating me to a nice dinner out for Mother’s Day. We are Wildfire fanatics but the past few visits to Wildfire Lincolnshire were a bit disappointing. We decided to give the brand another try but at the Glenview location. Excellent decision! The food was amazing, our server was fantastic and we had an overall great experience. We did have to wait a few minutes to be seated for our 8:30 reservation but it was worth the wait. Martini flights (our favorites) were made perfectly. My husband enjoyed the night’s special, prime rib with black bean guacamole slaw. I went with another fav, medallion trio with choice of crust - Parmesan, mushroom and potato wigs twice baked potato on the side...YUM!
Very chaotic. Poor service. Waiter has been there along time but couldn’t handle the volume on a Saturday night. Good thing we had plenty of time as it took forever to get a drink. Place an order. Receive food. Annoying and super loud.
The food, as usual was really, really good. Our server, Dominic, was outstanding!
Food server where great. Our table was a half moon booth it was tight and unconfortable. Our legs were touching each other no room from our plate . I was in very much pain sitting there since I had knee replacement. So it was a lot of money to spend and not be able to enjoy it. We asked to be moved but we would have to stand and wait over an hour. Very disappointed.
Took my wife and sons here for Mother's Day. I had the best prime rib I have ever tasted. Perhaps it was because I was hungry, but to me this was far better than Lowry's, regarding the prime rib. My wife had a chicken dish which was absolutely incredible. And my two small sons, notoriously finicky eaters, loved their hamburgers and fries.
Will definitely be back.
Everything was good on a Saturday night as we celebrated mothers day. But just to be completely honest the waitress could have been better. There was no Happy Mother's Day no interactiveness. Just what do you want or need etc. Normal day to her but guess what...it wasn't a normal day. Food was good my folks still had a good time but that extra attention goes a long way. Although she was nice I saw other tables getting the full dining experience.
Great food and service. Pricier than $ and noisy last two times I've been there.
Had a delightful meal in an old school steakhouse setting
It is what one would expect. Wine was $70 and OK. Cocktails are OK for the Chicago market. Food is OK, not great, not bad. Just OK. Service was OK.
The food was very good, and came out in a decent amount of time. Our server was friendly and attentive. It was a pleasant experience for my first time dining there.
