Great Food and Service. We were seated and the waiter came to our table in 2 seconds.
He came every 5-10 minutes to make sure we were okay.
Consistently good but not great food , service was excellent as usual . It gets noisy about 6:30 to 7 so we like a semi quiet dining experience so we try getting there by 5:30! And N Neither one of us is a BLUE HAIR!!
It our monthly go to establishment ..
consistently good
We received a email that the Halibut was back. We started with a Wedge Salad with a few changes and Myron did a great job getting it right. Delicious. Then we had the Macadamia Halibut with Broccoli. Out of this world delicious. The first bite is incredible. So flaky and tender with a crispy edge. Just outstanding. Finally one of my favorites. Door County Cherry pie with ice cream. A perfect dining experience.
We’re frequent diners at Wildfire, it’s always good for any occasion
Our meals and the service was great despite my mother receiving the wrong order and having to wait an additional 15 minutes for her rib chicken combo.
Server, Chaz did a nice job.
My husband and I went to wildfire for the first time and we we happy with the friendly staff and delicious food.
Wildfire has crammed too many tables in their dining areas. It was difficult for us and the servers to reach our table. Lots of banging and clanging of dishes for the price they charge for their meals.
The filet medallion steaks seemed to have gone down in quality. We were under impressed with the steak, but our parents loved the seafood.
We go to Wild Fire when we feel like celebrating. We LOVE the steak medallions, and we love the side dishes, and don't even get me started about the deserts. Great place to go for a wonderful meal.
As always, fantastic!
Excellent service yesterday! Food was excellent. Cod special is recommended
Service and food were both excellent, but price point was kind of high and we were seated next to a girls' night out and a family so noise level was high. Make a reservation because even on a Tuesday it was crowded at 6:30pm. They have a patio that we have sat on before in summer which is very nice and minimizes the noise level. Definitely more of a special occasion place.
Excellent food and service, as always!
This was our second disappointing meal at Wildfire (first one was in February for my husband's birthday)Last time the fish was overcooked and terrible. This time the steak sandwiches were undercooked and didn't taste good at all.
Great place, awesome service, friendly staff, and the food is the best and always consistent.
My favorite restaurant.
Food was great as always, our waitress could have been a little more on top of our drinks but otherwise it was a great evening.
The service was awful. The server was non-existent. We had to ask numerous time to get coffee and soda refills. They initially brought a bread basket that was sufficient for three to four people. The salads took 45 minutes to arrive after ordering. The main course too over 1.5 hour to be served and was cold. The server must have forgotten to pick up the order. We called over the manager and told her of our problems and she re-ordered the food which arrived in about 10 minutes the second time around but many of the items were not cooked properly. the twice baked potato was overcooked and dried out. The burgers were cold. The veggies were not cooked to order. They "comped" the meal, but 2.5 hour experience was dismal.
Wildfire is always easy and a good place to go. Food is on point and always a nice wine selection
In my opinion the quality and the service is far superior at Wildfire’s Lincolnshire location. The only reason we went to Glenview is I could not get a reservation in Lincolnshire at the time we wanted.
My wife and I always go to Wildfire (Glenview, IL) for our Anniversary dinner. went to celebrate our 15th Anniversary. We were going to try someplace different but we decided "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". When we arrived, we were seated immediately. The waitress was attentive and brought us some bread right away. We were disappointed to see Wildfire no longer serves the loaf of bread anymore.
My wife ordered a glass of wine that was $8. I was surprised to see how little wine came in the glass (it wasn't even a high end brand). I ordered a 3 Floyd's Yum Yum beer for $7.50 which is about the average price for a 3 Floyd's in a restaurant setting. When the meal came, I was severely disappointed in the slab of ribs I ordered. The outside was charred black and they weren't very meaty. My Au Gratin potatoes had little to no flavor. The amount of cole slaw served with the ribs was an absolute joke. My wife ordered her filet medium rare. It was closer to a medium well on the edges but started getting pinker as she ate.
The waitress was kind enough to bring us some flourless chocolate cake with ice cream to celebrate our anniversary. In the past, we have experienced great meals at Wildfire. It is one of the reasons we keep going back. Unfortunately, I have had better ribs at a local bar. For what we paid for the meal, the quality of the food and our overall experience, I am not sure we will be back. I didn't make any complaints to the waitress because we were celebrating a special occasion and I didn't want to make the evening any worse.
The only time available was 5.30 or 7.45. We took 7.45 and told them if a time between 6 -7 became available to call me. On Friday they called for 6.15 being available and I took it.
The waiter, the manager and the food were all good. The people were very nice and professional
Whenever I go to a restaurant, I use Wildfire as a barometer of comparison. If I spend an equal or greater amount then I would at Wildfire, it better be a great meal. Every time I go to Wildfire, it is always a great meal. I highly recommend it.
I have had lunch and dinner at Wildfire - Glenview on many occasions. The service and the food are excellent. The Manager on Duty - Jill is very professional and always says, "Hello" when she sees me. I enjoy the variety and taste of the various food served there. From the Sea Scallops, for an appetizer, to the Romanian Skirt, for an entrée, to the Ice Cream Sundae for dessert. The Stormy Nights are a very tasty cocktail as well. A great place to dine.
We had a business meeting and were concerned that he noise would be a factor.
As it turned out we were seated in the upper room and the sound was wonderful and all were very happy with the food and location
We love Wildfire for an early Sunday dinner. My husband loves the Turkey dinner.
Took my wife out to her favorite place for her birthday. Wildfire never fails.
Great place for celebrations and special occasions. Club menu is great for 6 or more people.
Consistently good ! Cod was very well prepared.
The cherry pie was very good, couldn't resist :)
Consistently good.
Was a wonderful experience. Myron was top notch! Dinner was paced well, and though crowded, we felt like we ere being taken care of.
Thanks for a special night.
Very nice. Enjoyed our birthday celebration. Our waiter was very attentive. Food was delicious.
Always great food. Always great service. We love this restaurant.
Impel was our waiter and was very nice and attentive. He explained the specials and my husband chose the Manhattan steak. I had the charred rib eye. Both steaks done perfect. Your corn bread is fabulous as one of your breads and my husband also loves the onion rolls. The French onion soup was very tasty and my husband loved the shrimp and crab bisque. A little pricey but still very good. One of our go to places for a special occasion
Always a great meal where you can carry on a conversation
Wildfire has good food and our waitress was excellent. Challenge always is the noise level. You feel like one in a few hundred that are in crowded rooms and everyone is talking. If you are a large party, you will only ever be able to talk to the person next to you.
Great food ... Very crowded and noisy
The food here is ALWAYS consistent. I've never had a bad meal here. Everything is delicious!
Have never been disappointed with food at Gleview. Service was excellent! Took my Mom out to dinner just because :).
Celebrated our sisterhood and server gave a dessert to share at the end of our meal
