Wildfire - Glenview Ratings and Reviews
Second year in a row celebrating thanksgiving at this restaurant. Food was outstanding, but waitress was not good at all. I have been to various Wildfire locations numerous times, but this waitress was by far the worst. When you have one person at the table allergic to gluten out of ten, don't bring family size portions of gluten free food! The waitress really struggled with this aspect. Last year, eh simply made individual gluten free portions for the person with the allergy.
This location (Glenview) has always been my favorite. You used to a have boneless fried chicken chicken special on Monday night but it’s changed to just plain fried chicken. I preferred the other special and did not read the menu properly and it came with smothered gravy and mushroom. Next time I will ask them to skip the gravy. Other than that it was great including the Moscow Mule.
We have been going to Wildfire for my birthday for the past 6 years. We always make the reservation for Saturday night so we can order the "Wildfire Filet Mignon" Special. We always pre-order it when we make the reservation because once before you they had run out before we arrived. All 5 of us ordered it. My sons said it was the best this year. The atmosphere is great and the cocktails at the bar before dinner were made perfectly, especially the Chocolate Martinis. We will be back again next year.
Our server could obviously not handle our table of 2 plus a few others and a large party of 12-14. For a meal upwards of $150. The service was not good, basically ignored After our mains came. Had to ask for water refills. Had to ask for coffee and tea Not the usual service we receive her. Quite disappointing
The only negative part of my experience at Wildfire Glenview is how cramped the seating arrangements are. The three tables in the corner of the restaurant I was seated were way too close and the waiting staff had trouble maneuvering around when all three tables became full. One part that arrived an hour after my party asked to be relocated because our area was too cramped. I think everyone would agree that they would rather wait a little longer for a table and have ample room than get seated right away in a cramped spot. It really took away from the dining experience. The food was great, but I feel like the waiting staff could have been 10/10 (our waters weren't refilled until the end of the meal, check took 10 minutes to get and another 10 minutes to take our credit card, etc.) if our area wasn't as cramped. This would have been an overall 5/5 star experience, but the cramped space was bad enough to take it down two stars.
Celebrating a friend’s birthday at Wildfire was a blast! Not only were the dishes prepared to perfection, but the service and attention we received from MK were outstanding.
Thank you, Wildfire, for showing your dedication to customer service by employing such high caliber personnel.

We LOVE Wildfire. Excellent cocktails. Everyone in our group of 6 was happy with their food, from the tri tips to the salmon. Great desserts. It is a bit loud, but we had a round table, which helped. The server was exceptional. Not hovering, but attentive. Had a great sense of humor. Love to celebrate special occasions there.
