Wildfire - Glenview
One of my favorites and ALWAYS a good choice! Can’t go wrong.
We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary which was communicated to the staff when we made our reservation. There was no mention of it and no special recognition. Not sure I will frequent a lettuce entertain you restaurant in the future.
I always like going to Wildfire for special occasions and my first time going to this location. Just like every Wildfire location, it was delicious, a pleasant experience, and a place I will come back to again.
Love to go there for my birthday and other celebrations. Always great food and service.
Went to celebrate our birthday’s and Wildfire delivered. Great food and great service. Not as busy as normal due to what is going on in the world but you could also tell attention to detail was everywhere with cleaning. Always a favorite of ours and we will be back.
The scallops and crusted cod were both great! Also the chopped salad was good too.
Can never go wrong here. Steak and fish always fantastic. Had a newer server who was excellent. Just love this place.
Bartenders Chris and Lupe are the best! We typically eat at the bar and always enjoy it!
Our waitress Mary Moore was fantastic. She let us have a nice pleasant evening without feeling rushed. Two of us had the pistachio encrusted cod special that was very good. And another person who is gluten-free had the Branzino from the gluten-free menu. Mary brought out a beautiful dessert for our friends birthday. Great evening
Always a terrific meal here! Interesting cocktails (the Lemontini was awesome!) A side Xaesar was enough for two and was excellent. My wife’s 8 coconut shrimp was more than she could handle and delicious. My tuna teriyaki was like multiple bites of high quality sashimi and unbelievable! Good selection of wines too. Service was terrific, prices were moderate, and we’ll be back soon!
Food is consistently good. Service was outstanding and help made this week’s Wednesday dinner more enjoyable.
Great host, great waiter, superior food.
The service was great. Had food delivered promptly and correctly.
Normally a good experience, this meal was not. The food was fine, but we were seated right near a busy kitchen and bus station and could barely talk over the noise of dishes. Additionally, when we were seated, it was next to a half wall where the kept the dessert tray. I asked it be moved and it was but I continually had to tell staff not to put it back there. Finally at the end of our meal, I let it go. Meanwhile, when we got home, we noticed food residue from something on that wall on one of our coats. A very unenjoyable experience that supersedes any of the food.
Always great food and our server was great. Wildfire is one of my favorite places and this time did not disappoint.
We had a great time! We appreciated the kids menu, more extensive than most. The service was attentive and our waiter was able to explain any menu questions. He recommended my wine, which I enjoyed every much. Overall, a lovely evening.
Wonderful lunch. Food cooked perfectly. A bit noisy.
Always very good!!!
I was impressed from the service provided. I had a reservations and when I arrived, haven't wait at all because our table was reserved. Service was great, really impressed. It is a little expensive, but it worths the quality.
Excellent food and offers a wide variety. Pleasant staff and nice atmosphere.
The food and service was great. But that back finding room lacked the feel and ambience of the restaurant and why I come to Wilfire. Tables close together with little decorations. I would not come again for a birthday or special occasion and sit in the back room
We had a 5:30 reservation with a request for the Savoy Room but not exclusive to. Dinner with our 4 yr old grandson. We requested a table do to the fact my husband is quite uncomfortable in a booth. We waited until 5:50 to be seated and then it was in a booth! We talked to the hostess several times, incredulous that there were no tables. She escorted us to a table in the very last room next to the emergency door. I said no absolutely not.
We have been dining with Lettuce Entertain You restaurants since the early 70’s. We love LWoods and Wildfire the most. We have had wonderful experiences. Sharing birthdays, anniversaries and holidays and just plain old family dinners. Going with our grandson is the most special.
So seems to take your name, check your reservation and then tell you to stand ‘over there’ while they check the next people in. After that, you feel invisible. Always looking to see if the hostess will apprise you of the situation. But no, we are the ones that had to keep asking what was going on. 20 minutes seemed like 40!
We are not complainers nor are we looking for a gift card. We are good tippers and are always happy to choose Wildfire as our destination for dinner. We come early and are conscious of staying too long. We know others are waiting and servers need to turn over they’re tables.
With all that said, I feel like we were treated poorly by young staff who seemed to dismiss our requests. Our waiter was extremely nice but my dinner was cold and my grandson’s cheeseburger was so well done and crispy that we had to stop at McDonalds on the way home for a Happy Meal!
Everything was Delicious.
Great cocktails! Definitely worth returning
Good but not as great as it used to be. Bread used to be well presented and warm. Now you get unpresentable pieces that are ice cold.
All else is just okay.
Son in town from college, met with family to visit!
Not a great experience. The steak and potatoe ( that's all you get for $35 ) were good but my plate looked empty before I started eating. This is a very loud restaurant due to the cramped tables. A loud group of women behind us just topped the evening off. This restaurant has a reputation for good food but if you've got a big appetite and enjoy a nice quiet dinner try Culvers.
Steak wasn’t cooked right the first time. Also it wasn’t hot. But I’m heading back tomorrow for a friends birthday. Hope it’s better!
We go to the Wildfire in Lincolnshire about once a week. We rarely go to the one in Glenview. There were 5 of us and my order came out wrong. A guest ordered a small salad and a shrimp cocktail as a main course and they both came out together.
The worst was when the server brought us 4 deserts and told us that they were from Scott, the Manager, who none of us knew. WE found that very strange. We thanked him on our way out and all he said "You're welcome".
We found out the next day that they were bought and paid for by a friend who was there at the time, and was curious why we never acknowledged his gift. WE now know why. Tremendously embarrassing. So many chances to get this right and correct the error and no one on staff did, including the Manager.
We'll stick with our tried and true Wildfire in Lincolnshire, which is fabulous.
Great service and food.
Always great food and service. Wildfire never disappoints.
Always a great experience at Wildfire. It was a busy Saturday night. We were seated promptly with my reservation and request to be in the main room was honored. The Food was delicious as always. The service was also exceptional. I indicated on my reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and without any prompting our server brought a dessert with a candle as a surprise. Dinner was simply delightful. We will be back.
Wildfire always delivers. Tremendous staff and the food is always great.
The bone-in ribeye was cooked perfectly. The server gave us time to relax and did not rush our order.
WIldfire is always a great place to entertain clients.
Wildfire is always on point. The food and service excellent and love the vibe!
We had a delightful and memorable Birthday celebration at Wildfire - Glenview.
The atmosphere, food and service were perfect! Myron was our wonderful server. We will definitely seek him out on our next visit. Enjoy!
