Wonderful meal and server!
The food was GREAT! Love Wildfire. Service was not the usual top notch.
Love the chopped salad! We shared the cod - it was delicious I could have eaten it myself! Service was Goodall! We met friends and enjoyed catching up! All was good!
This place has for the most part amazing food and is usually packed on a daily basis. Reservations are definitely advised. We have been going to Wildfire for many years and have always enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. The service has definitely gone down hill, and some of the food has taken a turn for the worst.
That said, I would recommend this restaurant for the food, but be prepared to pay higher prices. It seems to us the prices have risen while the quality has been reduced.
We consistently receive good service at Wildfire. While the menu doesn't vary much we have several favorites that we can order. Very much like Wildfire.
This restaurant has the best steaks in the Twin Cities. Try the giant twice baked potato or sweet potato, it is big enough for two. The desserts are excellent too. Always great service, this is our favorite place to celebrate a birthday, you get a free flourless chocolate cake.
Really great food and service. We have enjoyed our dinners at Wildfire.
Ordered two things got two different meals instead. Waitress did not even bother to see how we were doing until we were ready to leave. Last time eating there. I get 100 times better service from Chic-fil-a.
Great food as always. Our server was a bit distracted. Forgot to bring my soup before the meal and slow drink refills. Brought my the wrong check twice
Great place to get together with friends, large or small group! Classic, old-time supper club feel!:) Very swanky and awesome decor!!!
We always love it here. We usually order fish, but decided to order steak. We had the steak last week and it was outstanding. This time it was very good, but not as tasty or tender as last time. The waiters are always great. I decided to order the Brussel sprouts special. I have never had them here, and was disappointed. Maybe because I order gluten free, I don't know. However, they were not done enough for my taste. I took them home and cooked them longer with some extra olive oil, and they were very good.
Wildfire is very popular, so make sure you reserve early. Lots of groups seem to know each other. Great steak options and a few salads. Plenty of parking. I recommend the crusted steaks with a glass of red wine, or the chopped salad if you’re looking for a healthier option.
My steak was excellent but my baked potato was still hard in side but we were there at 5pm so maybe not quite done. Also my wife said her fish was a bit under cooked. We will still go back as our food is usually excellent.
Great place for couples.
The steak was not the best tonight. The service and staff were great and responsive to our comments! Thanks!
Food was good as was the service but it was cold every time someone entered the restaurant
Entrees were fresh and delicious. Dinner was served very timely, as we had let our server know we were in a rush. Our server was very accommodating, very good with drink refills and she definitely took care of us. Great experience!
We came to Wildfire for a business dinner, and it was a perfect setting. The waiter was extremely personable, and was attentive but not overbearing. Great service, great food!
Good food and great service on a snowy Minnesota day. Our server stayed past his shift end to finish serving us. We appreciated his effort!
We love Wildfire. Great food with impeccable service. Cod was outstanding, thanks.
Servers always seem like they dislike what they are doing; always seem like everything is an effort
Food is excellent and would come to wildfire more often but servers are a downer and there are many places to eat where one feels wanted
We meet friends at Wildfire regularly. As usual, we had a great time. Our server, Sylvie was especially friendly and provided great service.
Another great meal at Wildfire everything was delicious as usual
Dined at Wildfire on a very busy Saturday night. Staff was very efficient and ushered us to our table immediately upon arrival. Our server was awesome! Very attentive and friendly. She told me about the rewards program and even helped me download it, making sure we got our points we earned from our meal. The food was excellent. The only downside was that it was very noisy in the main dining area, and it was difficult to carry on a conversation without straining to hear our group. But that’s to be expected on a Saturday evening. We will definitely be back!
great steak, done to a T. Our server was really attentive and friendly
I normally get a filet at Wildfire and they’re always outstanding. Tonight I opted for a grilled chicken sandwich instead and wished I had gone with the filet. My date had the walleye sandwich. Both sandwiches were just okay, not great. We wouldn’t get either of them again.
For the price of the meals I would expect a better experience. Meal was not as hot as it should be. Baked potato ($2.50 extra) was not hot enough to melt butter. Prime rib was served medium rare, not medium as ordered and was cold before half eaten. Service could have been better, maybe server was new.
we had wildfire chopped salad - greens were soft and dressing was bland, overall salad was mushy
very disappointed as have had that salad before and was very good
Our Server Nick did a great job! Food was wonderful.
Great food and service. Petite prime filet and a walleye .. both excellent! Also, got the roasted green beans .. great!
Out of town guests have a severe gluten allergy and we found the gluten free menu had many options. The waiter was very knowledgeable! Loved the relaxed atmosphere.
Fantastic chopped chicken salad--always tasty! Prime Rib is excellent as well.
Our server Mike was excellent!
This restaurant has gone downhill over time. The ambiance is nice but the food presentation and how it compares to other steak restaurants puts it in the average catagory. Their failure to offer hashbrowns is a problem. It's supposed to be a steak joint! My scalloped potatoes were clearly reheated, and not enough so, and they were cold in some parts. And the mushroom caps just didn't taste right at all. There are certainly better steak restaurants in the Twin Cities.
We were seated far into the restaurant and there was a constant cold wind passing through the area. Diners at other tables even had coats on, and management did nothing to fix it when people complained. Constant traffic flow past our table was also very annoying. They messed up one order at our table and had to remake it. We received an apology and that was it, although the rest of the table was almost done eating by the time the directly affected diner received a corrected meal. Food was mediocre at best. I’ve never seen a restaurant screw up a loaded baked potato before, but they managed to do just that. Server was inexperienced and I blame that on the lack of proper training and poor management. Terrible experience. We will NOT be back.
We are return customers -the food is always great!
still one of our favorite places to dine. We love everything about it! Can't wait to return.
The food was excellent as usual, and Liz was a great waitress. Thank you for such an enjoyable evening. The gluten free options are great as well.
