Don’t be fooled by the reviews, food is over priced for what it is. If you’re going to spend money on a nice dinner chose elsewhere. We were confused by the reviews. Telling from the amount of reviews, I could guess there are a lot of fake 5 star reviews.
Very noisy. People behind me constantly kicking our booth. My meal was good, however, my girls each ordered the Filet Mignon which was very salty. Not a good experience at all. Will we be returning? Probably not.
Food was overpriced and steaks were cooked incorrect
Wildfire has long been a favorite of mine. This evening reminded me of the many reasons why.
Great experience, food was just ok this time around.
It was just a regular date night for us. I’ve literally tried every place he wanted me to try. Since s he’s never been to Wildfire
Had a great time. It was my birthday and the food was great.
Waitress was overwhelmed and did not get any assistance.
My friend's prime rib with that delicious horseradish sauce and au gratin potatoes was as perfect as on many previous occasions. This time, however, my petit filet mignon was a thin, but generous slice. I had ordered it medium rare but, because of the thinly sliced meat, it arrived overcooked, still beautifully seasoned and tasty, but without the pink center which I expected. The next time, I will request a thicker cut, smaller in circumference, but allowing for the meat to be cooked as I like it.
Service was excellent from the reception to our waiter Philip G. who made a knowledgeable wine recommendation, and was efficient and gracious throughout the meal. Wildfire is lucky to have Philip as part of the staff, he contributed a lot to a very enjoyable evening. Thank you.
Great outing for my Birthday. We went on a Monday, early evening and with the pandemic there wasn't many people in the restaurant which made for a quiet evening.
The food and service was outstanding. The staff was very friendly and patient. The steaks were plenty and cooked to perfection. There was a large family there with multiple toddlers which did cause a bit of noise as one ran around tables and the other cried the majority of the time. The staff was super friendly and patient as they had to keep reminding the party to stay at there tables. Overall I really enjoyed the food and service.
Our waiter was very kind and made great recommendations. I had the lemon pepper chicken breasts with asapargus and mashed potatoes. All of it was delicious with enough left for another meal! The stormy night cocktail was also very good.
Very exclusive we needed up being the last couple there just let us stay and talk very nice staff.
I took my girlfriend to go eat dinner and she enjoyed it. Loved the food and the portions were great
I was very dissatisfied with the service from the waiter.
Celebrating my 44th Birthday. The food and service was amazing
My guest and I both ordered prime rib.
Mine was.MW his WD
We were both disappointed in the taste and texture of the meat.
The steamed broccoli was also off.
Not a good experience
Our waiter was understanding.
I will not be going back to Wildfire Chicago. I have been to Schaumburg and the Oakbrook locations and both were very enjoyable experiences. Chicago was definitely a disappointment. The drinks were terrible, I ordered one cocktail and never finished it. The service was terrible. I felt as if I was busing my own table. When I asked for a to go container the waitress brought me one that was already used. How is that even possible? The steaks were all cooked accordingly to what we ordered, but that does not make up for the overall bad experience. Never going back.
We had a very enjoyable dining experience on Easter. The food and drinks were delicious as always, and the service was good. We were quite pleased with the social distancing protocol in place and felt very comfortable eating inside.
Wildfire (Chicago) is ALWAYS an awesome experience!! Alan N., our server, was MAGNIFICENT!!! He was very knowledgeable of all the meals & paired everything so well!! He gave World Class Customer Service & deserves an award (a raise - $$$) 😁😃😁😃
Went here for my birthday with a small party of 5. The place was not super busy, but Our waiter was constantly walking past ignoring us. We were sitting at the table approx. 30 minutes before he took our order for drinks or anything. He forgot things that we asked for such a straws and a side of mashed potatoes and never returned to bring them to us. The person who brought out the food was rude as he was giving the wrong food to everyone. We literally had to catch our waiter walking to ask for our check. The food was ok but the service was terrible and most likely will not return
Awesome all the way around
Ambiance is horrible, I usually dine at the oak brook restaurant.....did not like the downtown Chicago restaurant...I see why during restaurant week i could get a reservation for Saturday April 3rd. On Friday 2 april
It was Restaurant week in Chicago. My wife and I was with another couple. The food the drinks and company were great. This was the first time we were here since 2019.
Food wasn’t what we expected it, I asked for my Salmon to be well done it was not and brought back to me a second time burnt. The ribs we not done all the way as well. The drinks made up for the food.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. Jesse was our waiter and he was awesome. He made the experience even better than the food and that really meant alot.
We had a perfect meal.
This was a terrible experience for a very special birthday. Horrendously understaffed, waited over 20 minutes for
Our drinks, charged for things we didn’t even receive and poor ambience overall. Will not go back.
Visited on Sunday, 28 March 2021, for a 5:30pm reservation. They say first impressions are lasting, the hostess was dressed as if she was going to the mall with her girls or a birthday party for a ten year old. She was dressed in a short sleeve v-neck tank top and black pants, very inappropriate for the front of the house, in my opinion. All the male employees at the front of the house were in shirt and tie, very responsible attire for an establishment this old.
We were seated right away, that was a plus. Our server, FRANKLIN, was the best. Very resourceful, engaging and extremely courteous and approachable. He was the best part of the experience.
We ordered from the prefix menu. We began our meal with the Ceasar Salad, which was in dire need of some seasoning, and the French Onion Soup, surprisingly, it was pretty good. My daughter had the Queen cut Prime Rib, it looked like it came right out of a microwave, the color was just WRONG!, She also had a loaded Baked Potato, it also looked as if it were nuked, I opted for the Parm Crusted Strip Steak with the Au Gratin Potatoes, I've had better. Our desserts were the Cherry and Key Lime Pie, just totally BAADDD!
We both had the Martini Flight for libations, my favorite was the Stormy and hers was the Mango. The other two flavors were too sweet.
It's been years since I last dined at Wildfire, my first experience was amazing. I will probably not go back.
Normally, our Wildfire dining experience is very good. Sadly, on this visit the service by our waitress was very poor. Several times, she forgot to bring things that had been requested and she seemed oblivious to the fact that we might like to order beverages from the bar. The food, however, was very good as usual and the pork chop and salmon were both excellent.
great food and customer service i will return after my first visit
Erin our server was phenomenal! She was patient. Kind. She was running around because it was very busy but she still made sure her service was on point! I will request her in the future!
My 15th Anniversary was lovely the waitress and the owner was so nice to us and I love the chocolate cake. Than you
Perfect Birthday dinner for two. The ambiance was good, the waiter was helpful and accommodating. The food was good As always
Didn’t seem too special but the food was amazing.
Pretty good food and wine. Nice service in a Lettuce Entertain You standby.
It was fine, service was ok not exceptional, drinks were not very good, wine was good, food was ok
One of my favorite restaurants, will be dining here again soon!
Our second time visiting. Had a great experience three years ago and decided to try again. Went during restaurant week and VERY pleased with selection and meal portion size. The New York strip stake was the best I’ve had in a long while. Highly recommend
It was really nice, loved our waiter Charles he was great!!!
