The entrees were excellent, the drinks were amazing, and the service was top notch.
Best service ever - attentive but not a busybody! Anticipated every need, drinks etc. excellent recommendations on dessert and food
Great steakhouse without the Michigan Ave shenanigans.... Pricing and service phenomenal. A1
Very noisy really bad service
Had a wonderful experience! Everything was outstanding!
Good food the service was a little off had to Ask for stuff and
Never asked us if we wanted another cocktail , otherwise enjoyed ourselves
Delicious food and awesome drinks, waitress was polite and personable
Felt very loud and did not enjoy sitting and looking into an open kitchen. Had to send our food back as it was overdone
Wildfire is one of my "go to" restaurants when you need a place to appease most palettes. Straightforward food, great drinks, nice ambience and I've experienced great service there.
Great selection on the menu. Very good service. We will be back.
Always good food. We’re seated near kitchen despite many other tables being open. Loud and distracting.
We had a great experience at Wildfire! I had their signature horseradish crusted filet, which was cooked perfectly, tender, and delicious. All my friends also loved their food. Only two complaints, first, when my friend ordered crab cakes, he was hoping to get larger/more crab cakes than just 2 smallish ones for the price ($17), and second, when we ordered dessert, I would have liked my cherry pie to be served warmer. Other than that, a fantastic dining experience. I’ll be back!
Food was awful. Undercooked.
Nice place, good service, tasty food. Nice selection of wine. By all means, a good place for a date
Should have tried steak. My chicken wasn't good. Baked potato was horrible, didn't think you could mess that up. Our waiter was decent. I think he was working to many tables. My lady had the lamb chops and they were outstanding, but won't be back.
Server was attentive and friendly. Food was delicious. Will be going back!
Over the years, I have noticed the quality of both the service and food decline. We had to ask twice for someone to remove the appetizer and entrée plates from our already crowded table. The prime rib had zero flavor, which was very disappointing. Previously, I stopped going to Wildfire for about 2-3 years. I was hoping to be surprised that the experience would be much better than in the past. Unfortunately, it was not. I will not being going again. The price does not equal the value in terms of food and service.
Our server Rodrigo was so attentive and very friendly. We would go back just have him again
Went to the location downtown. Dishes weren't clean and food wasn't the best. We went out to eat again afterwards because the food wasn't filling.
Waiter was great the food was excellent as always.
Unfortunately the table we were seated at. Was too small!
We loved Wildfire! Everything from the drinks, to food, to the service! We will definitely be going back!
I was very disappointed with Wildfire Chicago. The set up of the restaurant is awkward, as the kitchen starts right on the floor at the end of the tables, so there’s only a few feet separating the dining space and the chaos/loudness/heavy foot traffic of the kitchen. We did our best to ignore it, but my boyfriend and I were moved from our initial table to be seated directly next to the kitchen. Truly, not a great ambiance. Then, our food was mediocre at best. Our au gratin potatoes were so hard, a fork could barely cut into them. My salmon was also served entirely undercooked. There were several parts of the salmon that were visibly raw, that weren’t noticeable until about a quarter of the way through as the outside was almost overcooked. As I was separating the raw salmon from what was edible, our server had a surprising response. She came over and lightly said “some of that came out a bit underdone, yeah?” and proceeded to giggle it off like it was normal. Given the bits of salmon I already had eaten and the hard potatoes, I opted not to risk anything else and was pretty upset that nothing else was offered or comped from our meal. $80 for two pieces of barely cooked salmon and hard potatoes, next to a loud bustling kitchen, was thoroughly disappointing at best. We will not be coming here again.
Old fashion steak house. I had prime rib. It is available in different portion sizes which is great. I had the smallest cut 10ozs. It was heavenly. Cooked perfectly. Seasoned just right
Knowledgeable waiter, attentive service and loved that our table was ready upon arrival. Food was perfect!
Used to be great. We haven’t been there in 4 years. The waiter was terrible. Food was mediocre, never going back.
We had an 8:15 reservation for 8 people and waited 45 minutes to be seated. It then took 45 mins. more to have our order taken. This and the attitude of the host forced an unpleasant beginning to our dinner. They sat us at a table that was too small for 8 people. We did not have room for our plates without turning them sideways. Our waiter, George, was outstanding. If not for him we may have walked out. He was very attentive once the meal began. There was no attempt to improve the situation. I thought they could at least wave a corkage fee but did not. The food was good. I definitely would not go back with 8 people. 2/26/2020 Received a call from the assistant manager. Very sincere apology. Revising my review at this time.
Great food fun crowd.. always packed. We love this place.
Very good food and service. Has a nice upscale old Chicago atmosphere, it is so crowded that people kept bumping into my chair and the noise level made it hard to have a discussion at a larger table.
I was always a big fan of this restaurant but this last time I visited was not so great. The service and quality of the food was not good.
The manager was very nice is trying to make it right. Let’s hope they can make the Appropriate changes to make it a great establishment
The steak I ordered cooked medium. And they brought me a steak that felt it had been cooked once and then reheated in the microwave. The ambiance was subpar.
Gluten free options for my wife and kids were extensive and service was exceptional!
It was an amazing date night. It was wonderful food and a great atmosphere!!
Food was great, but the service was terrible. My reservation was at six and my girlfriend and I arrived early and it took us over 40 minutes to get our first course ( appetizer). We order right away our drinks and it took more than 30 minutes to get them. When we finally got them we could had tell that they were sitting at the bar for a while because they were really warm. It wasn’t worth for what I paid.
The small chopped salad was fabulous. It was more than enough for one person. The corn bread was amazing. Warm and very tasty.
As usual, my dining experience was amazing. The waitress was informative and friendly. My meal was cooked to my liking & the drinks were very refreshing!! You come highly recommend by me!!!
I visited this location because I heard so much about it. Ordered a NY Strip, Med-Well with Au Gratin potatoes. The potatoes were cold, the steak had no flavor and was overly tough. Never dining their again!
Our server, Candice was amazing! She was on it with our orders and the timing was great as well. My husband had the cheeseburger and I had the porterhouse with a blue cheese crust!
I’ve had so many steaks in my life, but that was an amazing steak! Cooked as I requested with ample portions. The ambience is very 20s-40s with the mob style dark ambience which I fell in love with.
Definitely will come back again, hopefully with better parking.
Great service and amazing dinner ! My husband and I ordered off the Valentine’s Day menu. Great special!
Loveeee the bread basket, chopped salad, horseradish crust on filet, and the amazing chocolate silk pie.
This is an old school steak house where you leave extremely full and happy.
Food is always great. Excellent service. Great way to start the night.
