My favorite restaurant in Lincoln, Nebraska. Absolutely wonderful management, interactive staff, beautiful location, great patio and above all, excellent food.
Wonderful experience beautiful restaurant service has gotten much better over the last year or so it was never bad but now it’s outstanding
Overall good. My wife’s steak was a little over cooked. Ordered medium and was at least medium well. Everything tasted good though. Just a little over done.
We had a nice meal at Wilderness Ridge. The menu is expansive and the food was good. The only issue we had is that they lost our ticket in the kitchen, so the food took over 45 minutes to come out. The server came to apologize and said she would comp our meal, which we greatly appreciated. However, when it came to getting the bill - they didn't comp anything! This likely won't prevent us from visiting again, but we're much less anxious to do so compared to if they had followed through on their offer.
Amazing birthday dinner
We were out for our anniversary and hoping for a delicious meal we were splurging on. My ribeye was tough and chewy, baked potato wasn’t cooked enough and dry. Waitress stopped by before I even had a bite and we didn’t see her again until we were about done. We stopped another employee for butter. My husband prime rib was okay. We left disappointed in an experience we were looking forward to.
Surprised that gentlemen host in his hair to show is to our table left us behind while we found the coat rack and hung up our coats. Equally surprised he didn't pull our my chair. Thought they'd be classier than that given the place and cost. Food was very good. Not spectacular, but good and service excellent.
Such a warm and welcoming place to enjoy great food. Served by people who care and want to make your dining a time to enjoy and relax. We just took some extra time to connect with each other while we enjoyed our food.
Excellent food, and service. Love the lodge look.
The Wilderness Ridge restaurant is a well-kept secret. The ambience is obviously great and the service is excellent, but most importantly the food is always outstanding. And we found that if you go at lunchtime, it’s not as expensive as you might think; very comparable to most other restaurants in town.
Great place for a special outing. Great environment.
amazing food! Must try the spinach artichoke dip!!
Great venue, great food, great entertainment. Great experience!
We loved it; cooks even came out and asked how the meal was.
Sorry the restaurant plans to go private. One of our favorite places in Lincoln for a delicious, beautiful meal.
Love celebrating here. Always good food and great service
Great server but food takes awhile and just okay. Some items cold. Patio really dirty but probably due to construction, just not up to standard I expect. A little disappointed.
Love dining at Wilderness! It’s a gem of Lincoln!
Nice, quiet place that overlooks the golf course.
My wife and I had wonderful experience, thank you!
Our server was so fun! Food was wonderful! We had a fabulous night celebrating! We’ll be back!
This is a beautiful restaurant but the service and quality of the food was not good at all. We had to wait quite a while for our first drinks. We had ordered an appetizer of calamari and asked the waiter if it was going to come before our meal. It did, but the calamari was not very good at all. Over cooked and rubbery. My sister ordered the shrimp and it also was over cooked. Our sides were not hot at all. The salmon I ordered was very good and it was hot. But that did not make up for the lack of service and overall quality of the food. We were very disappointed and would not go back here again.
WE had a very enjoyable dinner with friends. The food was good and the evening was great.
We always enjoy. Great selection for breakfast and lunch.
We had a new server for dining (2nd day), so it was a bit rough. However, the food was wonderful and prompt. Atmosphere is like no where else in Lincoln. After dining we spent time in the adjacent bar, where we received fantastic service from the veteran bartender. We loved the specialty cocktail he created, which is also on the menu in the dining room.
Really great food, great atmosphere, and Armand provided great hospitality!
The food was excellent as was the service. But we had to sit in the bar. Our plan was for a nice dining experience. Had we known that the main dining room was not available we would have come a different time.
My daughter and I had a lovely dinner on the deck. The Caprese salad that we shared was fairly good, as was my pasta. But my daughter ordered the salmon sandwich which was VERY spicy and almost too much to eat- between the blackened seasoning and jalapeño cream cheese. The drinks were the highlight- the seasonal Whiskey Sour was amazing! We both highly recommend it. Our servers were friendly and attentive and it was a perfect evening to sit outside. Sharing a meal with my sweet daughter was the biggest blessing- the ambience was fantastic and the rest was good.
The staff were kind and attentive, the food was wonderful without a long wait.
Safe, outdoor eating. Beautiful scenery, great selection and quality of food.
Always enjoy eating on the patio. The wait after ordering seemed unusually long but my party was not in a rush to go somewhere. Food and ambiance was excellent as was our server.
The food was bland, overcooked and unseasoned. The server and staff were friendly and did a good job. But the overall experience wasn't worth the $160 we spent for 2 people.
Amazing food and outstanding service! Definitely recommend!
For outdoor dining in Lincoln it would be hard to beat the deck at Wilderness Ridge. Service was very good as was the food. The grilled Portabella Mushroom is a nice vegetarian choice.
Big birthday event was the occasion for a big evening out. First time visit. Fabulous venue in a first class real estate development with vintage huge pine log construction. Service was just okay. Decent wine list. Sold out of Filet Mignon which was peculiar. Wife enjoyed her New York Strip but my salmon was over-the-top salty. Table was seated nearby with everyone dressed in grubby t-shirts, flip flops and shorts which detracted from the hoped for ambience of fine dining at an exclusive restaurant for our special occasion. Some interesting taxidermy but many of the specimens had cobwebs on the heads and horns. This place has huge potential but fell short on value for the $65 per person including a bottle of wine, coffee and dessert. I am on the fence as to whether I would recommend, but maybe yes because it's such a neat place.
It was amazing! The food was delicious, it was the first time my wife had tried diver scallops and she was not disappointed! I had the shrimp and crab fettuccine which was also amazing! The waiter had great suggestions for every course and the chef even stopped by the table and was great and friendly! Would absolutely 100% recommend dining here!
One entree wa
Our food and wine were absolutely perfect!!! What a great way to spend our anniversary!
Loved the outdoor seating. Our waiter was curt IOU’s and attentive. Very nice experience.
The food looked like it had sat for awhile and not wasn’t seasoned. I’d come back for the view but almost $40 for an unseasoned ny strip is not acceptable.
