Attention to detail is everywhere from the stunning and integrated design to the superior service to the quality of the locally inspired fresh cuisine.
A stunning outdoor dining courtyard makes Wildcraft a popular destination year round. We look forward to serving you!
Tuesday to Saturday: 11:30am to 12:00am
Guests can access the lot from Weber St. or King St.
We have one Tesla & one New Country Echarge charge station available for guest convenience.
We were three professionals there for a business lunch on Friday afternoon. As usual, the service was excellent and food was very good, and up to the usual standard expected from Wildcraft. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars instead of 4 (Very Good instead of Oustanding) is that my measure for "outstanding" is basically limited to Michelin star quality establishments. But Wildcraft is always one of the best restaurants in KW and you can't go wrong there.
We enjoy treating ourselves to a classy dinner at Wildcraft on occasion. It has always been an enjoyable experience. This visit was no exception. :) Our server, Shaun, was exceptional. He was so personable and what a natural at fine service! It is obvious how much he enjoys his job and meeting people. He was discreetly attentive, and made the visit so wonderful!!
The food is always top notch at Wildcraft. Designed by the chef with interesting flavours and beautiful presentations. Enjoyable portion sizes - normal meal size - not huge and not small. Always leave room for a bite of dessert! Their cake pops on a stick are delicious and 2-bites which are a perfect end to a meal.
I would like to see more vegan/vegetarian selections (not a veggie burger. Real food). There’s sooooooo much that can be done with chick peas, or even a vegan chili, or noodles made from veg (butternut squash, zucc, sweet potato, beets) with steamed brocc, peas, asparagus etc.,...avocado/herb sauce..... Over time, I could see the one or two choices available for non-meat a reason i’d stop visiting. The menu changes frequently. Patient for now. ;-)
Awesome spot. We took our steak-loving daughter for her 8th birthday. For $10 she got several very nice pieces of steak cooked perfectly. She also got a nice appetizer plate with some vegetables and dip and a piece of bread. They treated her like royalty. My vegetarian wife also had a very nice meal and all of the meals were enjoyed fully. Well done Wildcraft!
Their steak frites & double baked cheesecake never disappoint!
Went Saturday after making a reservation for 2 for my birthday and when we arrived the hostess informed us we would be seated in 5 minutes but that came and went so we waiting around some more. They must have not had a table ready at all because we waited around for more than 10 minutes to then be informed that they didn’t have room to seat us and if we were OK by the bar, by that time I was so so hungry (I’m 9 months pregnant) that we settled for anything- so they put us by the bar. Was not the atmosphere I had anticipated for that occasion. It seemed that they over booked or just weren’t running things properly. What’s the point of making a reservation if you they aren’t ready for you when you do so? That being said- our server was fantastic, so at least that’s a plus.
This was our second time eating at Wildcraft and the service was very poor this time. The waiter forgot the wine completely and the food arrived before we got wine or bread. We had filets and my wife's filet was overcooked, when she mentioned this to the waiter, she offered no solutions. There was a saving grace as the manager offered us the wine free of charge. Much better visit the first time around.
Good overall but the pork loin chop that I had was overcooked. I get that many people are scared of any pink in pork, but I think that a restaurant of this calibre should go for it ;)
Food and service are always good and location is great.
The restaurant has a lovely ambience in the evening. On this special occasion visit, the meat (steak) was prepared to our specifications and was delicious. Our server, Troy, made this occasion really special. He arranged a special birthday for my husband. Highly recommended
This place has been a great option when we want to wrap up our business trips. Had the salmon which was cooked perfectly and was flavorful.
So happy that the patio was open for the unexpected summer blast in October. Enjoyed sun and great food and drink from our friendly server.
Tremendous food and drink. Professional, attentive staff. Wild craft never disappoints.
The steak was outstanding. Our server was fabulous. The desserts were scrumptious.
You made me a hero on my 47th wedding anniversary. Just told you the occasion and you did the rest. Well done!
You have made some changes to the salad portion of the menu, specifically, as well as other parts. Quite frankly, they are not up to the caliber of the old menu. Missing terribly is the Wildcraft Salad. The new Mushroom one does not measure up. The caesar salad which we always share is now a whole part of the romaine heart. This was served to us in a bowl which was very very difficult to cut and eat. The taste also was not expected. What happened to the lovely caesar salad you had in the spring?
Server was very nice and attentive. The restaurant gave us desserts to celebrate our anniversary. Nice touch.
We felt very comfortable and welcome to Wildcraft. Kimberly was our server and she was both friendly and engaging.
One note I'd recommend is that you change your Menu titles of Lunch vs. Dinner. we were given the lunch menu at 5pm but neither our hosts or our party noticed the wrong menu until we were getting ready to order.
excellent stake, as always
found a new cocktail ( again ;)
We've been to Wildcraft several times and this night was even better than usual. Requested a booth and got one, food was delicious and perfectly prepared and our server was excellent (wish I could remember his name - tall guy with almost no hair). We had a fantastic anniversary dinner, thank you, Wildcraft.
It was good food and service. There was nothing outstandingly good or bad.
Great time! Good friends whom we hadn't seen in a while. Meal was better than great. Our waiter Troy, really made the evening special - very personable, knowledgeable, really looked after us!
Great service, food good, nothing extraordinary
I was not happy with my steak as it was too chewy. When I mentioned it to the server she asked me what I wanted her to do.I believe she should have brought it back to the kitchen without asking me.She did give me a free dessert. We also had to ask for coffee instead of her asking us.
The flatbreads are fantastic. The food is interesting and presented well. Definitely fit for foodies. The service is always good as well and they make an extra effort for those with allergies. Highly recommended.
Overall experience was wonderful, waiter was very friendly, food was very good.
Only reason for 4 stars would be that my guests steak was very over cooked and when it was brought to managements attention all they did was come over and apologize, but did not compensate in cost.
This was our second time at Wildcraft Grill and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinners both times. The service is friendly, accommodating and efficient. Lovely staff, wonderful menu and delicious food. Beautiful outdoor patio and excellent location for easy access to the highway. Thank you, Wildcraft Grill. We will definitely return.
Outstanding as always. Our server was great, the food chef-inspired, and i hope that it can maintain an adult-centred fine dining experience.
I would like to see a few vegan entree options.
Great patio and service, you only need to hose down patio pull weeds and wipe down table supports (underside visible when you sit down) and chairs since they are always outside.
Wasn’t a fan of the flatbread I ordered. Most of the people I was with weren’t a fan of their drinks. Appetizer and dessert were good though.
Love Wildcraft usually however on Saturday night I ordered the tenderloin medium and it came to me well done. As it was almost 8:30 before we received our food (late reservation), I was too hungry to send it back. Too bad as it was a really nice cut of meat.
Had dinner here for our 10 year anniversary ! We were greeted right away with a happy anniversary by the hostess. Got to sit infront of the fire place which was lovely, made for a very romantic setting. Waitress was very helpful with the food and wine menu and made some great suggestions! Finished our meal with a glass of champagne and a desert on the house. !!! It was a lovely evening and a great first experience, we will be returning.
Our waiter was friendly, engaging, humourous and knowledgable. He did not crowd us when conversing and did not hover over our plates while serving us. Being a bit of a germaphobe, I really appreciate having some space and nobody reaching directly over my plate. Servers should be taught this but it is extremely rare. All three of us thoroughly enjoyed the food as well.
The service was extremely slow, especially the drinks. The food was fairly good, but quite pricey.
We used to really enjoy Wildcraft when it had a more interesting menu. Now, there is nothing there that isn't available at other restaurants at a better price. The wine is very overpriced, particularly by the glass, again, available elsewhere at a more reasonable price. The decor is tired and the place is a bit noisy (a trend these days in all restaurants, but a bit better than the din at Bauer Kitchen.
I still don't get piling a loin chop on top of mini-potatoes so one can not cut it without rearranging the plate. Presentation should be sensible as well as attractive. It's food, folks, not Picasso art. That said, the food was good, properly seasoned and cooked. Dessert was appropriately decadent and the decaf coffee was among the best I've had at a restaurant.
The service rescued the place. Efficient, friendly and professional from the hostesses to the server. The food was served promptly and hot - kudos to the kitchen.
Good range of interesting vegetarian and vegan options. Good service. Pretty casual operation - lots of customers in shorts and T-shirts. May not be the best choice for people who want an elegant experience.
Our dinner was absolutely wonderful as usual. Julia provided friendly and efficient service and it was a lovely evening to sit outside and enjoy dinner. Steaks were cooked perfectly, goat cheese appetizer was perfect to share and the crème brûle was sublime. The wine suggestion was perfect. Thanks Wildcraft!
very disappointing not the level of service that we are used to at this restaurant. Will not be returning in the future.
Server was in a hurry to get us out, removed plates with food remaining. Food was good, but the experience was not.
The Wildcraft host welcomed us into the restaurant. We asked to sit outside, and he straightaway accommodated us. We sat on the patio at a table that was well shaded and which had a clear view. Our server appeared, introduced herself and asked us warmly if we'd like a drink. We ordered - my date had chicken and a salad, I had the squash and salmon soup of the day and tagliatelle with wild mushrooms and bacon. I drank a 6oz class of Niagara Valley red, and my date had a white Italian. The wine was excellent. Our dishes arrived. The soup was superb - slightly sweet with the salty tang of salmon. The tagliatelle was very generous in its portions of mushrooms and bacon and a little bit too oily. But the taste was excellent, the pasta was fresh and al dente. My date said her dish was very tasty. Our server was attentive, courteous and helpful. Overall, we had a very pleasant and satisfying time at Wildcraft.
Service was very good, for the most part.
i had left a used knife and fork from an appetizer on a side plate. When our mains arrived this fork should have been replaced with a clean cutlery. This is my only criticism.
We enjoyed our evening and will return.
