I enjoy Sea tower plateaux The quality of the sea tower was excellent, but the accompanying sauces could be improved For example, add butter. Mayonnaise. Brown bread were also
Food excellent. Service not so great
We we’re married Saturday and after arriving home, we visited the restaurant. What a gracious greeting from moment we walked in. Beautiful dinning room which screams great service and it was. The Ahi tuna was over the top while the Monkfish was unbelievable delicious. When you go ask for Alan, you won’t be disappointed.
Love this place, the food, the service and the ambience. I give it an A+
Great dining experience. Although our server was not knowledgable in the wine dept. (he was new and still training for wine) the sommilier was certainly helpful in guiding our selection. My wife ordered the whole pan-fried snapper which was superb! I had diver scallops and green peas which was very goid and would have been exceptional if the kitchen could have gotten the scallops a little hotter at the point of delivery . All-in-all we’ll be back.
Awesome food quality and great service. The seafood is top notch.
In town for just one night and wanted a nice meal before going to the Broward Center. Wild Sea delivered. Kristen and Jason were the perfect servers. Wine list very extensive. Very good food. I had the scallops and my husband had the seafood special which included mussels, shrimp, scallops, and a white fish (can’t remember exactly) but we both really enjoyed our meals. Manager was always visible and stopped at all tables to visit. Definitely a 5 star restaurant!
Delicious food. Great service.
Stefan was very welcoming and nice and our server, Hannah, was so efficient and nice. We would definitely go there again.
We had a terrible time. The customers were drunk and annoying. The food was average but priced high. Our server was great; but overall very disappointed.
quiet night in the restaurant ... not sure why we were seated at a high top at the bar - finally got seAted in the dining room. it took 20 minutes for our server to come over and to get a drink ordered, meanwhile the manager is walking around to some tables to see how things are, did not stop by our table.. I ordered a caesar with dressing on the side - it came drenched in dressing.... main course steak was good but it came with some crazy cheese cauliflower macaroni side that we completely ignored....while we pined for good old potato!!
Total miss - will not be back ... choose somewhere different
Food was amazing! Would highly recommend!
I had high expectations from the reviews but the menu choices and the meals we got just were not that great. I got simply done scallops because I didn’t want them swimming in coconut milk and it was 4 scallops lined up on a plate.
This dinner was my first disappointing experience at Wild Sea Oyster Bar and Grille. In fact, this restaurant was among my very favorite restaurants in Ft Lauderdale.
I had dinner w two other women and we all ordered the halibut. This presumably simple to remember order resulted in only two meals arriving at the table. The server failed to serve one of them to the most elderly woman among us. Instead, the server walked away from the table. When we noticed our friends dinner was missing, the waiter apologized saying he forgot to order the 3 rd dinner.
We asked for some vegetables since the only thing on our plates was highly overcooked fish. The waiter graciously complied and gave us a dish of complimentary vegetables. Unfortunately, the broccoli was practically raw and the sauce was overly spicy...making it inedible.
We appreciated the complimentary chocolate sphere served to our elderly friend in honor of her 80th bday.
Not planning to go back to this restaurant. Grateful for previous wonderful meals and happy memories there.
Came for a Family gathering/birthday. The service was ridiculously bad. We where quickly and politely seated...place wasn’t too crowded. Took an hour and a half to get our entree and excuses. No offer of any recompense. Very poor service food was not worth the wait
Probably the worst seafood restaurant I’ve ever been too. Lump crab BLT had no lump crab and a terrible crab salad. Manager came out to tell me “lump crab is very expensive”. Sent back for shrimp tempura which was mushy and not really a tempura. Inedible. Left and went elsewhere.
Food was excellent as always. Service is very spotty each time we go - once a year on Florida trip - but food is worth the frustration and service is almost adequate.
We tried the restaurant since we had a gift certificate. Very good seafood from all over the US. Some very creative choices. A little pricey but very good!!
Enjoyed the monkfish but the Grits that came with it was a little mushy. The cheese plate was very enjoyable and in general had a very nice meal
The restaurant was nice looking. Our server was very good however the food was not worth the prices. We all had different items and no one is interested in returning.
The beignets rocked my world I will never forget them
This was a really disappointing experience after several prior great meals. Lots of things went wrong--an inordinately long wait for our entrees, which got us lots of apologies, but no compensation (would have been nice to be offered a free drink or dessert when we're spending >$200). Oysters and vegetable side dishes were great, ambiance lovely. But lobster was tough and rubbery, scallops overly salty, and sea bass dried out. Key lime pie for dessert was mediocre at best. Sorry to say I wold not recommend this place anymore, especially given how pricy it is (used to be worth it, but not anymore).
Was told the restaurant didn’t have the center cut because they ran out which limits a pregnant person’s dining options. Food took almost an hour to be served. Was told after 40 minutes of waiting, there was no more bread (aka with an hour left in service they didn’t want to make any more).
Excellent food smoked scallop crudo and octopus were fantastic. The monkfish dish was out entree and it was great as well
Oysters and sides were good, entrees were cold and over priced. Beautiful setting and great service.
Scallops were very Salty. The oysters were delicious and the grilled octopus was also very good.
Great location, great service and better food. You truly get what you pay for here. Oysters were incredible.
Good food, good service, good atmosphere...like hitting a trifecta
Wonderful and creative menu, a good mix between fish and non fish. Great wine list albeit pricey. Great service.
Consistently good food and outdoor dining is great in pleasant weather.
My Sweetheart and I went for Valentines Day and were absolutely delighted. This is a taste treat combined with impeccable service. I recommend it for any occasion and am looking forward to my next mouth watering experience. Thank You Wild Sea Oyster Bar and Grill.
My sister came in on Valentines and we had already made reservations.
Upon entering the noise level, at 8pm from music is too loud, for a restaurant
but luckily we were seated outside ( per request when reserving).
The menu was fixed and we opted for the wine pairing which was excellent.
Octopus, oysters, lobster and dessert. Only the lobster tail was ordinary.
The wandering musician was a nice touch, although a little too loud as stated. Unless at a disco music should be background when fine dining.
All in all a great evening.
This could not have been better. The food was fantastic and the care they tok of us was very warming.
Dinner was very good. Interesting menu. Very different sides and main dishes. Mussels were excellent.
Food was great. A little slow coming out and not crowded.
We love this place, it is consistently on point, from the drinks to the delicious entrees! Always a pleasure to dine here. Great wait staff.
We enjoyed a fabulous meal.
We dined in the main dining room full of ambience, & especially liked the table placement: far enough away from other diners, so it felt private. The menu is varied, oysters are a plenty, fish dishes were delish! + our waiter was attentive! One can not ask for more!
An attractive restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, situated on the very busy Las Olas Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale.
I was greeted by a very friendly hostess, offering me either inside or outside seating. Choosing inside, I was brought to a very nice table, and almost immediately offered a choice of waters, and had bread on the table in record time.
While I waited for my partner who was parking the car (apparently there is some valet arrangement that we were unaware of, ask about it), I had a chance to look over the menu.
When he arrived we ordered. I started with the Grilled Octopus, great grill flavor, and still tender, while my partner enjoyed the Mussels appetizer – mussels in a delicious Guinness Stout broth flavored lemon and herbs, grilled focaccia for dipping, yum, yum.
Our entrees were equally as good, I enjoyed the Seared Diver Scallops, cooked perfectly, with mushrooms and English peas, and bacon with a light mint coconut sauce, in a word, delicious! My partner ordered the pan-seared Grouper with roasted beets, arugula, and fennel herbs in a wonderful honey-lavender vinaigrette. The slight problem with the grouper was it was a little overcooked.
Now, onto the server – Marc. Server Extraordinaire! A big personality – fun, and most knowledgeable about the food and wine. We’ve been to many restaurants, very few a have such an excellent representative for their food and wine offerings.
All in all, a pleasant evening. I’d suggest, if you’re in the area, give it a try if you’re in the mood for seafood; they also offer some meat selections as well.
Went for wedding anniversary. Had a great time. Oysters were great. Ambience was excellent.
