Put us at a bad table and would not move us even though we had a reservation and the place was empty. I requested to be moved and was told no.
Was a little early for the table and they were not going to be able to sit us at our reservation time but space at the bar opened and we took it! Service was very good and the 0lace was hopping with several large groups. Tacos were excellent and drinks were fantastic!
The service was very good, friendly and quick. The food was tasty and well presented.
Wild Salsa was a pleasant surprise on our overnight trip to the Majestic Theater. The food was exceptional and our waiter was very attentive and informative about various entrees and the different drinks. He also invited us to return after our concert for their 9 p.m. Happy Hour. A great suggestion....we ended our evening with a tasty margarita and La Buracha! So refreshing! We will be returning to Wild Salas and be using the convenience of OpenTable for our reservations.
The people were excellent and very considerate. The waitress was on point with our table. The atmosphere was nice and easy to have a conversation without a lot of loud talking and the food was excellent.
Great experience, food and atmosphere.
Wild Salsa was the perfect place for a family trip to Dallas. Service was good. Food was good. And we all had a good time too!
Great food, service and atmosphere.
Great service! Great food! Our server was great! Over all just a great time.
First time I went had a wonderful experience! So I decided to come back the next time I was in Dallas. Not so great the second time. Waiter was terrible and the wild salsa margarita tasted nothing like it did the first time. It tasted straight up like pineapple juice. Not sure if I will be back again.
Fun spot with great food! We will be back!
Food was great. Initial service. Not so much. We were a group of 4 big guys. Restaurant was empty. After being seated we asked for the corner booth which was much larger. We were gladly reseated. Shortly thereafter we were told that we couldn’t sit there anymore. Another larger party was seated there. We were put at a wobbly table for 4. I mentioned that there was a group of 2 seated at another corner booth. Didn’t matter. Manager could care less.
Great food - creative - tasty
Great drinks - no skimp
Service was helpful in food and prompt
We were excited to give this a try. We are Dallas foodie’s and heard good things about Wild Salsa. Unfortunately, service was awful, through and through. From the sour-pussed hostess, to the “all over the place, scatter-brained waitress.” The food was cold when it finally arrived to our table, and though we rarely complain about food or food temp, we just couldn’t eat the cold to barely room temp entrees. It appeared to be under-staffed, and even though there were empty tables, it seemed chaotic. Sadly, this place isn’t on our list any longer.
Overall great, had to really keep with server so we had good service but she was slow but overall great
Great service and food. The wait staff was very attentive and personal with wonderful recommendations
This is our third visit to Wild Salsa, mostly due to location. We have never been impressed with the quality of their food. On this last visit it seemed to have declined even more. The nachos are no better than those you would order at a football game (pile of ships with liquid cheese poured over them). And, not to be rude, but we are not 100% certain that what they advertise as beef, is actually beef. There are a multitude of far better choices for Mexican cuisine in Dallas. It is too bad as Wild Salsa's location and atmosphere is very good as well as their draught beer selection and margaritas . A new menu and chef would be the advice form our group.
Loved the food so good also our waiter was amazing always checking on us definitely going back.
Very little beef on menu (no beef enchiladas). great location and service, not so much on food and price.
We were looking for a restaurant to enjoy prior to attending our concert at the Majestic theatre. We found this restaurant, reviewed the menu and customer reviews, and decided to try it. We had an excellent experience.....the food was delicious, the drinks were very good, and the atmosphere was very casual and friendly so it was an excellent meal to enjoy prior to our concert. The Majestic was a short walk so the locale was perfect. My guess was that most of the customers probably lived close by and were frequent customers. So that's an excellent endorsement for the venue. The décor and ambience is very simple and comfortable, so if that fits your mood/desire you're in for a treat !!
Started with very good chips and salsa and then we had excellent Queso blanco. Dinner entrees were stuffed poblano which was huge and some pork tacos. Very good frozen margaritas for happy hour price of only $5. I’d recommend this restaurant for it’s convenience to The Majestic. Service was exceptional.
Great food, service needs work and restaurant needs lots of glasses to replenish beverages to avoid delay of serving drinks because they ran out of clean glasses. True fact! Overall, we would go back! Loved it!
Great food, service, and drinks.
Nice service and friendly
Excellent and interesting food combinations. Lamb shank tacos outstanding.
Great food with outstanding servixe
Very impressed with the food and drinks! Everything was delicious and fresh tasting.
Amazing food. Service was impeccable as well. Don't miss out on this one!
Good location. The food was nothing out of the ordinary; it was just OK. Sold out of Miller Lite -- not good for those of us who love ML! The manager was delightful...we enjoyed his interaction with our table. Food delivered in timely manner.
We went out for New Years Eve dinner. The staff was great. We were seated right next to the fire pit. It was perfect on a cold evening.
Best mexican food hands down! My husband and I enjoyed everything about this place. Drinks were amazing and the food WAS ON POINT! The salsa is def missed as we were out of towners but if we ever come back, we will be back!
Great queso!! The tacos were awesome,as well
One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever been to. Margaritas are delicious. Food is even better. There wasn't one thing we ordered that we didn't like. We cleaned our plates.
Everything was awesome. They said they had a full house and still managed to squeeze is on. They are awesome!
Really good food. Drink service was slow.
Dakota was great. Tacos outstanding as was the guacamole. Would have like a little more in the margarita for the price
Great service from Dakota. Guacamole was superb. Love the atmosphere.
My only complaint- Seven dollars for valet is a little pricey
The service at this restaurant was superb! I believe our server's name was Daryl--but there were at least four people who just suddenly appeared and took care of something that I hadn't even thought to ask for. This restaurant is an efficient, meticulous venue.
In my review, I rated the ambiance less than a five--and that is only because I went with my hearing impaired father, and we had some trouble carrying on a conversation in this happening spot. The food was exceptional, however, and even though it was noisier than my usual pick, I would definitely eat here, again. Try the flan--it's fluffy and perfect.
If I were to do this again, I think I'd stay seated at the bar and stick with appetizers. The specialty margaritas are phenomenal and delicious, and during happy hour, there are appetizer specials. I ended up being seated for dinner in a very dark corner and waited about 20 minutes for a server, and the entree recommended to me was disappointing (a chicken dish that was not described by either the server or the menu as having basically greasy, breaded chicken strips on top). Green salsa and guacamole were delicious, and in retrospect, I'd probably do a salsa sampler or other appetizers as the main was not that tasty.
They sat us in the very, very loud bar despite having a reservation. We waited at least 15 minutes before we even got waters. The food was not good. I had high hopes - but it just wasn't. Everything tasted like it was coated in sugar. The black beans were good and the overworked server did his best to make up for the bad food and his lack of help. I would not recommend.
