Have not been there since before the pandemic. The meatloaf is still wonderful and my wife loved the chicken picatta. The patio ambience is great, and the staff is so nice and helpful. They really seem happy with their jobs.

First time there. Delicious food. We had the salmon crab cakes and the pork belly appetizers. For entrees, we had the Idaho trout, new york steak and lamb racks. The only thing we all didnt think was cool, was when they start closing the umbrellas over our food. Debris and anything sitting on the umbrellas could've easily fall into our food. Maybe only remove them when the table doesnt have food on the table?

This place is along the River. You can’t see the river unless you sit on their patio. It was raining so they sat us in the River Room. We had a street view. They have a nice happy hour menu. Includes beers and wines. My husband got the Elk and wow, tasty. We also shared the happy hour crab cakes, yum. Would get both of these again. Against my better judgment, I decided not to get the Ribeye and got the seafood risotto because I wanted scallops. The pros were, scallops were cooked to perfection, more shrimp than I expected and cooked perfectly, the risotto however, they need to learn how to make it. Half of it tasted cheesy like risotto and the other half was watery. It’s pricey but worth it for a once in a while thing. We walked there from Circus Circus. It’s a bit noisy due to the high ceilings but it was nice.

The location of the Wild River Grill on the river is ideal setting for very relaxing dinning. Add an outstanding menu with so many delicious options and a very attentive staff, you have a perfect restaurant. Well worth going there multiple times. Unfortunately I don't live in Reno.

Our server did a fantastic job!!! Best server I’ve ever had! He was very attentive and made sure we where taken care of! The only food I didn’t really like was the lemon bars. The raspberry drizzle doesn’t really taste good. But our apologizer, soup, and main dishes where very tasty. The outdoor scenery and music was also lovely.

We have visited Wild River Grille several times and it has yet to disappoint. Whether ordering off the happy hour menu or main menu the food is very well prepared and flavorful. They also have a good selection of wines and draft beer. Hard to go wrong at the Wild River Grille.

We arrived at 11AM on a Sunday and had our pick of tables. The place filled up and got busy soon after. The waitstaff was polite, attentive and helpful, and the food arrived quickly. My daughter got the Portobello mushroom burger and I had the veggie gyro: both were delish and came with homemade potato chips! This was not our first visit and will not be our last!

We were pleasantly surprised by Wild River Grille. My husband and I sat outside on a beautiful night, next to the river and some live music. Food was surprisingly good, and I say that because we really haven't had a great meal out since pre pandemic. This was good tasting food, good portions and seems like prices are the going rate. Service was great! They are very accommodating. Which is another hard thing to find. All in all a very nice dining experience.

We dined outside on the patio, both for Covid safety and because we brought our two small dogs. It was perfect: large patio is shaded by countless overlapping umbrellas, and a staff member brought a water bowl for the dogs as they seated us. I had the salmon plate - very good - and my wife had the tuna melt, which was so big that she brought half home for her dinner. Youthful staff was friendly, efficient, and accommodating.

there were no recommendations. I had to ask for the special. I also asked whether the crab cakes had gluten, which was a good opportunity for the waiter to recommend an alternative. We did not order an appetizer. my guest had a soda, which she said was flat. I did enjoy the seafood risotto.

The menu is varied and interesting, and the wait staff showed flexibility in accommodating changes. We had a marvelous lunch outdoors, where we enjoyed the shade and cool breezes even though the air temperature was 89. Interesting cocktails too.
