great place to celebrate, food was great and the environment was amazing.
Ribeye Steak was cooked well done when asked for medium rare.
Elk was also over cooked and cold when arriving at the table.
No service from the waiter
Overall -it was a great day, the sun was shining and the patio ambiance was terrific! My only feedback is based on my food- my salad was over-dressed, so if ordering ask for dressing on the side. The grilled shrimp I added was amazing, my mouth is watering now just thinking about it!
In and outdoor dining, river flowing by, great wine list, fresh food items, full bar and great service. Kory took great care of us. *Live music on some evenings!!
Live music on the patio is awesome. Just dessert and drinks for us this time but everything was great!
Good food and excellent service. Our waiter Enrique was impeccable!
Omg, so f…. Good!
Enjoyed the outdoor dining and the Duck Breast was outstanding.
I loved their take on bruschetta and would go back just for that and cocktails alone. The staff was very friendly and helpful when asked to give recommendations.
Enrique was our waiter and very attentive. Seems that this restaurant is facing some of the same issues with staffing as many others are but we were quite satisfied.
Food was good. Disappointed the steak wasn’t available on the lunch menu.
Trout and duck were over cooked. Service was very good though and we saw an unexpected fireworks show on a Friday night so that was kinda cool
Delicious food, great service, always an enjoyable experience.
Will never return. Awful, disinterested, bordering on rude server! Mediocre food. Nice setting and live music.
I had their Ruben sandwich on "icky" bread (their homemade bread) and it was the best sandwich I have ever had. Their service was quick amd amazing and the food was even better.
Very nice restaurant by the river. They had a keyboard player playing soft music, string lights and umbrellas. We had a wonderful evening.
Overpriced. Overpriced. Overpriced.
Great birthday meal for my mother in law. They gave the table a wonderful Truckee mud dessert. So good. I had the mahi mahi which was amazing. Wedge salad was really good, Caesar average, octopus tasty but have had better. Excellent cocktails and great service. Can’t wait to go back.
Wild River Grille is consistently good. The service was excellent on our recent visit. It was a bit windy, but always nice to sit outside next to the Truckee River.
Our server was excellent. The Mahi-mahi was the best I’ve ever had and also the spicy shrimp pasta was very good. I would eat here every time I’m in town.
What a great meal and excellent service! I would highly recommend this place. 👍🏼
Unfortunately the steaks are just subpar, staff was friendly enough, right on the waterfront, very nice ambiance but they either are using lower quality meat or just have poor cuts, it was also very overcooked. I've never seen such a thin ribeye.
Food and ambiance was great! Background music and lighting were a great touch and our server Alex was awesome! We literally asked at least 75 questions, he was patient, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful in helping us to narrow our meal choices down!
Lovely evening at 6pm for family dinner, great location, ambiance, service and food
Great service and food. We ate outside it was hot. Some fans would help
Excellent service. Food was extraordinary. Definitely worth it.
love this place - very professional staff, food very good
Far from a premium dining experience, food is very lack luster. With how dirty and loud downtown Reno has become, wild river grille appears to have become a product of its environment. Food was mediocre at best, low quality filet, low quality duck, and neither cooked correctly. Staffed by primarily uninterested college students who prefer talking about their next class while throwing dishes into the dish cart to see who can render the most noise. Once a great dinner spot, no longer worth the fare.
Our server was great. Super attentive. Meal was timely.
Everything was great, except the hostess who greeted us. Let her know about reservations , 3 for outside. Her demeanor and etiquette lacked enthusiasm. She stared at me and I had to repeat myself three times, her response was “ Umm Umm Ummm Ummm” kept looking at the tables while other hosts/hostess and servers came up to the stand… Not once did she ask either of them for assistance Not once did she look over her reservation info. When I decided she was not willing to help, I told her I would look around to see if my other party was seated.. she looked at me and said “ Ya thats a great idea”
A little more friendly and maybe a bit more ability to be aware of what is needed or in her case a better attitude is needed for a hostess.
Delicious food and cocktails. Service was great. We will definitely come back.
Great service, great food, great atmosphere!!
Live music was great!
It was our first time here, nonlocal. I made reservation on Opentable but for whatever reason they didn’t have us down. We only waited a few minutes before getting seated even though it was busy.
Food was delicious. My husband and son devoured their steaks. The child’s plate is a generous serving for our 6 yr old.
Our food took a bit long to arrive. We figured it’s because of our steak-no big deal. The host offered us a crab cake appetizer as an apology, however we didn’t take the offer. I already had the ahi tuna tartare appetizer.
Their mango lemonade was the best thirst quencher on a warm evening.
Will be back the next time we’re in Reno.
Tip: check in on Yelp for a free appetizer.
Ribeye was tough and the worst steak i had. Good environment though.
Wild River Grille was so good. The Chipotle Plum Salmon was cooked very well and the Spicy Shrimp pasta dish was great. It was actually spicy....so many times you go somewhere that has spicy listed but then it isn't.
Our drinks were great as well.
The food there is wonderful, lots of choices and excellent service We sat outside by the river and enjoyed the night. They also had live music.
Waiter was rude. Good wasn’t tasty.
The duck was over cooked, but everything else, including the service was wonderful!
