Great food, different from the same old food at a lot of other restaurants
Everything was really great. We had two pizzas and they were both fantastic. The restaurant itself was a little bit cramped, it almost felt like we were dining with the people on either side of us, but they were nice people so no complaints. The server was attentive and the dessert (gluten-free) was phenomenal.
We love Wild Goat-we know the food will be tasty and the service is great.
Over rated and over priced. Ok for lunch but cramped and uncomfortable for dinner. Waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged by our server. Food is good — tastes fresh but nothing special. Had the Thai prawns, two dinner salads, two coffees, and two glasses of wine. About $100! Wine pours were ridiculously light and when we complained the first server made some excuse about the glass; then another server topped us off. Won’t be going back.
Great find!! Amazing menu, food, service and wine!! We had a hard time picking a restaurant because there are so many great choices. The food was delicious and the menu was very creative. Great gluten free choices!! Save room for dessert or bring some home. The best gluten free meal I have had out in a long time!!
Our party of four were all very pleased with their entre accompanied by the house wine. The restsurant surpassed our expectations .
Seasoning was missing. Goat cheese )wild goat) was very small amount. Salads were very expensive for what they were. Only truly good item was their pizza.
Enjoyed Lunch at Wild Goat Bistro. Ordered Pesto Pizza with chicken, bacon and red peppers. Accompanied with a Robles Pinot Noir. Every tasty meal
Unfortunately, stayed too long enjoying the meal and company. Got a Parking Ticket 🤨
This is one of the best restaurants in Petaluma, which makes it tough to get a table. I had a Open Table reservation and we still had to wait a half hour. The food is seasonal, interesting and tasty. But this time, we had the hippie Ceasar and it was not very good. It was romaine with shaved carrots and some squash. The dressing was not Ceasar like and not terribly good. The squash soup was good, although a little dull. The chicken was excellent. It is quite noisy, so in good weather the outdoor seats might be better.
I'm gluten-free and not a major dessert lover but, bar none, Wild Goat Bistro has the best GF desserts I've ever tasted. I mean, seriously, you would never ever know they are gluten-free! Must try!
Always a great meal and service. Delicious, healthy meals. Real ingredients. Great for foodies that want farm-to-table fresh. Love the beans and greens, and fun, tasty pizzas. Highly recommend.
Super loud...but excellent food. The pizzas were great, with crust chewy and crispy at the same time. Interesting and unique topping combinations. Salads were excellent. Portion size is substantial. Would definitely return but maybe not at peak hours.
It’s just a solid all around go-to. Love this place.
Do you want a great place for a memorable dining out experience? We recommend Wild Goat Bistro for any occasion. We love the food, the service, the ambiance...WGB has it all.
Food was good. I had a group of 5 people to celebrate my birthday:). Staff was very nice
Accommodating for our kids and our gluten allergies!!! Best meal we had our whole trip to the SF area
Good salads, a bit pricey but very good ingredients.
OMG the caesar salad was amazing. What was more amazing was the seasonal pizza with bacon and butternut squash. Fantastic!
We had out of town guests and brought them to dinner. We ordered pulled pork pizza special, Brussels sprouts, goat cheese small plate, special salad, pork chop and jambalaya. Everyone enjoyed everything. Delicious textures, well balanced flavors and we were all too full for desserts. Our server Marina was fantastically attentive and a joy. Thank you for another great meal.
Our server was slow getting to us but other than that everything was wonderful.
We went here for a birthday dinner. The service staff was friendly, a good wine list and the food was pretty great! The space is small and tables very close together, there are a couple tables away from the crowded dining room. Overall, we had a lovely night.
The Wild Goat cuisine is always superb. They have great wine, particularly the Merry Edwards Pinot Noir and newer white offering. They also have a great range of gluten-free main menu items, as well as gluten-free cakes.
First time here for both of us. Glad I made a reservation as it was busy. The food was EXCELLENT! My one complaint if I had to choose was the awfully close proximity of the tables, a little too close for my own personal space. The man next to me dropped his fork and practically had his head in my lap while trying to pick it up... awkward!
We got into Petaluma early, and they took us anyways. The service was dutiful, and not overly attentive. The food is always fantastic. Gluten-free is their specialty.
Great ambiance , superb service, and delicious food each and every time!
The Wild Goat Bistro is my favorite restaurant in Petaluma. The food is always fresh and good. On nice days, I like to sit outside because it can get noisy in the main inside dining area but that’s a small price to pay for a delicious meal.
Food was fantastic. The pizza's are unique flavor combinations that are incredibly satisfying. I recommend the Fig & Pig - it is delicious. A little sweet, a little savory and oh so yummy. I didn't partake, but the desserts looked fabulous as well.
The polenta fries with pesto were SO good. Needed a bit more salt, but every bite with parmesan was seasoned perfectly.
I surprised myself and ordered the quinoa salad with butternut squash, Brussels sprouts, pecans, and goat cheese (they were able to serve the dish to me without the bacon) and it was aesthetically spectacular! What a beautiful way to serve a salad! It was beautiful and delicious.
Don't miss the carrot cake for dessert! Huge slice, which is great for sharing.
Our server couldn't have been friendlier. She was really warm and accommodating.
My only tiny nit-picky thing is that the space is really crowded and the tables are too close together. Other than that, it's a perfect place for a date or just having a nice meal downtown!
Great place and service. Loved the food. Can’t wait to go back.
Delicious! Loved every dish we had. Appreciated the gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options. Desserts are a must - we took three home with us!
Mediterranean flatbread was delicious. Great salads!
Carrot cake was delish! Attentive service ! Cozy,
Quaint decor. We enjoyed our lunch!
While the food and service are consistently good, and the ambiance pleasant I would caution you not to sit at the bar as all the desserts for the day are lined up in front of you and are inevitably irresistible.
Our meal was excellent... We drove up from Marin and really enjoyed it!
Very good flavors and food combinations. Lots of choices on the menu with many interesting, unique dishes. Our only objection was the noise level which was not very relaxing.
We've been to Wild Goat 3 times in the past 4 -5 months. Food is consistently excellent, particularly the starters and salads. Limited selection of entrees and no steaks, but the Wild Goat burger is to die for! Great wine list also. Now my favorite restaurant in Petaluma!
We dined at Wild Goat Bistro before a show at Mystic Theater. I upped the reservation from 4 people to 6 just hours before and they accommodated us nicely. Great service and very good food. I ordered salad and brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were flavorful but a bit overcooked. The other members of the group seemed very happy with their meals. I will definitely go back.
Great food, love the decor and very efficient, friendly staff...
The food is always good. Be certain to reserve early because the restaurant is small and tables at dinner are difficult to come by. The menu is filled with delicious entrees, unique pizzas and the juiciest of hamburgers. We go often.
Amazing worth the drive and we sat at the counter it was wonderful
Found this place on yelp and the 4-star establishment did not disappoint. The food was delish, service spectacular, and ambiance just perfect. Good for a date, night out with the girls, or even just to grab a quick bite. We had two entrees (portions are pretty large), two glasses of wine and shared a dessert for just $55.
Parking was easy and the area is really cute for a walk after. Will definitely be back!
