Nestled in the historic Great Petaluma Mill, the Wild Goat Bistro offers a casual dining experience in a rustic and inviting atmosphere. The charming space reflects a European style bistro with intimate dining tables, a reclaimed copper-top counter which has a birds-eye view of the open kitchen. There is additional seating available at a community farm table for larger gatherings. The Wild Goat Bistro offers up a menu of honest food that uses local fresh organic ingredients in a variety of culinary traditions. From their specialty Neopolitan style 10" pizzas, to innovative salads, to scrumptious main dishes, to sharable small plates - it is a seasonally changing menu that has something for everyone anytime of the day. Special attention is given to making nearly the entire menu gluten-free - even the amazing home-made desserts. Their carefully curated wine list includes wines from hand crafted, small production local vitners as well as wines of interest from around the world.

Stopped in to grab a burger and salad. Great food with fresh ingredients. We had a lamb burger which was delish and a chicken sandwich on a baget. Shared a salad that was great too. It was really good. It's a bit pricey but good quality food. The place is small and there are 2 different rooms. We opted for the room facing the street and sat up at the window/counter with a peak at the Petaluma river and away from the cramped tables. Not a place to linger, eat and go. Some tables outside weather permitting. I would recommend.

This is a tiny place with a great menu and a chef whose food is really outstanding. We had a fantastic pizza and very delicate lobster bisque to start. Also, the grass fed beef hamburger with Fontana cheese, red onion, lettuce and tomato.....was both well done (as requested), and juicy. Rarely is well done hamburger juicy. The bun was a delicious bread and one burger was enough for two. The main entrees are very good and we come back when we want a really good meal at a reasonable price. You really can’t go wrong here.

Interesting layout with 3 or 4 rooms . We were in one of the back rooms with 6 or 7 tables and it was very quiet with all of them in use. Nice lunch choices.

We love Wild Goat Bistro. The food and the service are the best! We like using our ticket from Cinnabar Theater, too, which makes for an even better deal. Thanks for the good work.

This lovely restaurant never disappoints. See is a fantastic waitress. One of the best!
I had the roasted beet salad with fennel and blood oranges to start. It was delicious. My entree was the short ribs. Absolutely melt in your mouth savory goodness. My friend had the calamari steak with lemon and capers. It was delicate and bright.
As for dessert- leave room. The lemon cake is perfect.
Can’t wait to return.

Three girlfriends got together on Valentine's day so it was busy, but I had made a reservation so no problem. Food excellent. Best coconut cake which we shared.

We were celebrating our friends moving away. There are so many choices and Petaluma amazing restaurants but wild goat was on the top of our list. Boy are we happy we came! The food was amazing… Point on perfect. We also got the lemon cake for dessert OMG, superb. The service was great, the food delivered as promised and hot (this is important to us) and the meal was cooked just right. We got the French Pork Chops (don’t hesitate getting this it was great and so tasty with the puréed parsnips and cranberry sauce.

Our only complaint is it can be noisy and squishy in this restaurant. But we didn’t mind as we made reservations, in advance, so it all work s out just perfect.

My wife and arrived in time for our reservation. We were seated promptly. We ordered drinks and dinner and the food arrive more quickly than we expected. While it’s a bit noisy, the place is cozy and has a very good vibe. The service was excellent.

I Love Petaluma! Another one of my favorite Petaluma restaurants to eat at though it’s been a while. I’m glad that they’re open on Mondays. I’m having lamb burger and a new Belgium Glütiny pale ale-all delicious!❤️ um Glütiny pale ale-all delicious!❤️

This restaurant was fantastic! We were seated right away upon our arrival. The waitress came immediately to the table to get our drink order. They have a nice wine selection as well as non alcoholic drinks. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the food (i.e., portion size, popular items on the menu, etc) There were 3 of us and we shared: Polenta Fries (Try these! They're Really Good!), Roasted Brussel Sprouts (Just the right amount of bacon and glaze), Bad Boy Sliders (Meat was super flavorful and cooked to perfection, very juicy) and the "In Season" Butternut Squash Pizza (It might sound like an odd topping for a pizza but I can't say enough good things about it!! The pizza dough was super fresh and thin, the quality of the toppings and the way they balanced their flavor was very creative...and once again, cooked to perfection, it was delicious!) The only downside was we were seated up front where its a bit crowded. When we left the restaurant I noticed there was more seating in the back of the restaurant where it may have been a bit more quiet and more conducive to conversation.
