Overall, a good experience. Main meals were good, but not great. Appetizers were very good. A bit off on the value equation. Our server was very good. Overall a solid experience, I would go again.

We love the Wild Goat and had a wonderful experience last night at dinner… Jacob the owner truly loves his business and it shows.. food was excellent, portions were large and we appreciate the healthier options when dining out.

There aren’t enough stars for this totally yummy luncheon experience. Three of us came from Berkeley to meet a friend in Petaluma. We chose the quieter inside room which was charming and filled with people. The menu had many yummy choices. Some were vegetarian and vegan. We shared a SPECTACULAR dessert, the Amazing Sea Salt Caramel Cake. But most special was our server who paired efficient service with a warm, low key, friendly manner that just added to our birthday celebration.

The waitress recommended the chop salad. It was terrible the dressing was way too thick and didn’t taste like blue cheese at all. It had a strange and unpleasant taste. It was small for the price. Would not recommend

Chopped salad and shepherds pie were really good. The pie was vegan but had impossible sausage and caramelized onions which were delish.

We enjoyed our dinner al fresco on their large dining patio. It’s an old converted brick building with fun architecture. Parking is a challenge but we got a good spot about 4 blocks away. The city is very walkable and pedestrian friendly. We chose a couple of tasty entrees. I had a salad with added chicken and my partner had the vegan shepherds pie. Both had a lot of flavor, were served quickly, and filled us up. We got a slice of the vegan carrot cake to go. It was scrumptious. We would come here again for sure.

Great lunch with a friend who is new to North Bay. She was delighted with Wild Goat and especially the ginger carrot soup. She loved her salad as well. And while she is vegan and I am omnivore we both had wonderful dishes. Mine was the BLAST sandwich--BLT with both avocado and smoked salmon. Yum. We did not have wine, but they also have a great wine list.

We enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent. The outdoor table located on the sidewalk was just okay; the chairs are not comfortable and there was an aggressive, foul mouthed pedestrian that was a bit frightening. Still, overall, enjoyable meal.
