Nestled in the historic Great Petaluma Mill, the Wild Goat Bistro offers a casual dining experience in a rustic and inviting atmosphere. The charming space reflects a European style bistro with intimate dining tables, a reclaimed copper-top counter which has a birds-eye view of the open kitchen. There is additional seating available at a community farm table for larger gatherings. The Wild Goat Bistro offers up a menu of honest food that uses local fresh organic ingredients in a variety of culinary traditions. From their specialty Neopolitan style 10" pizzas, to innovative salads, to scrumptious main dishes, to sharable small plates - it is a seasonally changing menu that has something for everyone anytime of the day. Special attention is given to making nearly the entire menu gluten-free - even the amazing home-made desserts. Their carefully curated wine list includes wines from hand crafted, small production local vitners as well as wines of interest from around the world.

    My niece & I met for a special get together and we both love shrimp. Marina took great care of us and asked the chef to make us a shrimp appetizer which was not on the menu. For anyone that likes shrimp, this should definitely be added to the menu! It had some garlic, butter and cheese with some toasted bread. The rest of the meal was very good, but Marina definitely made it special for us. Our dinner was special indeed.

    We all had burgers (both beef and lamb) which were delicious. But the rolls they use are dense and thick, impossible to put your mouth around so had to use a knife and fork. We discarded the tops and cut them up. Burgers are served on a paper lined tray. When we cut our burgers the paper shredded and we all got bite fulls of paper. Requesting a plate next time!

    Food is very good. Hostess pleasant. Our waitress was not. Didn't offer specials info or check in with us. There are separated seating rooms with interior one a bit dark in daytime.

    Had a table of six. Half ordered salads and the others quinoa cakes. All enjoyed their meals. Great they are open on Mondays, when a lot of restaurants are closed.

    Excellent food at Wild Goat. They just don’t miss with their creative selections. Had the Adult Grilled Cheese. Nothing like it. So rich and delightful. Only creative cakes for desert. Amazing flavors. It’s an intimate space so as they get busy it gets louder. But still worth it! Highly recommend.

    We had the special Halibut and it was delicious. The service was wonderful. It was a nice quiet place to eat. The desserts were also excellent. We will be back again.

    I met my friend for lunch and we had a wonderful relaxed visit at Wild Goat. Be both got salads and they were generous and delicious! I appreciated that we could make a reservation, so there was no wait. We will be back for sure. Highly recommend!
