Nestled in the historic Great Petaluma Mill, the Wild Goat Bistro offers a casual dining experience in a rustic and inviting atmosphere. The charming space reflects a European style bistro with intimate dining tables, a reclaimed copper-top counter which has a birds-eye view of the open kitchen. There is additional seating available at a community farm table for larger gatherings. The Wild Goat Bistro offers up a menu of honest food that uses local fresh organic ingredients in a variety of culinary traditions. From their specialty Neopolitan style 10" pizzas, to innovative salads, to scrumptious main dishes, to sharable small plates - it is a seasonally changing menu that has something for everyone anytime of the day. Special attention is given to making nearly the entire menu gluten-free - even the amazing home-made desserts. Overall, a good experience. Main meals were good, but not great. Appetizers were very good. A bit off on the value equation. Our server was very good. Overall a solid experience, I would go again.

We love the Wild Goat and had a wonderful experience last night at dinner… Jacob the owner truly loves his business and it shows.. food was excellent, portions were large and we appreciate the healthier options when dining out.

There aren’t enough stars for this totally yummy luncheon experience. Three of us came from Berkeley to meet a friend in Petaluma. We chose the quieter inside room which was charming and filled with people. The menu had many yummy choices. Some were vegetarian and vegan. We shared a SPECTACULAR dessert, the Amazing Sea Salt Caramel Cake. But most special was our server who paired efficient service with a warm, low key, friendly manner that just added to our birthday celebration.

The waitress recommended the chop salad. It was terrible the dressing was way too thick and didn’t taste like blue cheese at all. It had a strange and unpleasant taste. It was small for the price. Would not recommend

We enjoyed our dinner al fresco on their large dining patio. It’s an old converted brick building with fun architecture. Parking is a challenge but we got a good spot about 4 blocks away. The city is very walkable and pedestrian friendly. We chose a couple of tasty entrees. I had a salad with added chicken and my partner had the vegan shepherds pie. Both had a lot of flavor, were served quickly, and filled us up. We got a slice of the vegan carrot cake to go. It was scrumptious. We would come here again for sure.
