I've been here a few times before a show at Benaroya but I think I'm done. The food is just okay and too expensive.

We had the nam rolls, tofu skewers, and passion tofu. The first two were mediocre to bad while also being overpriced for the amount of food you got. The rolls were $9 for three little fresh rolls literally the size of my thumb. The skewers for whatever reason featured raw squash (!), and the little rice block that came with it was the worst tasting rice I have ever had (did not even know that was possible). The passion tofu was really good and full-sized, though, which made up for the lousy appetizers.

We ordered the Tuna Bruchetta and when it came it was served as Tuna Tartare. Not mentioned on menu and was terrible. They did not offer to take off the bill. Disappointing!

Excellent restaurant, wonderful service and good food. The food could have been spicier, and a few more meat (non seafood) dishes to go with rice would have been greatly appreciated.

Great food and waiter. Would have liked more prawns and chicken in the noodle dish; but very tasty.

We had a reservation for 6:30 and weren’t sat for over 40mins which mean we had to scarf out food to make our Seattle Symphony event. I made a reservation to make sure we wouldn’t have to rush but it didn’t happen. They apologized and gave us a couple free drinks but we almost missed the opening of our show.

Have been to Wild Ginger several times. (Including dining on their food downstairs in the Triple Door/Musicquarium.) Ambiance is a strange mix of dark and cozy mashed up with nearly nightclub-loud conversational decibel levels.
Food is fairly predictable. But, in a good way. It won't dazzle; but it never fails to satisfy. (For instance, I don't know what factory churns out their dumpling/potstickers, but they should be commended for consistently producing something so outstandingly substantial and delicious.) Menu has a little something for everyone. (Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, carnivore, etc.) If you are in the mood for some well-seasoned Pan-Asian fare, that tastes almost exactly what you expect to taste like, then you can probably do no better than Wild Ginger.
Of special note... The cocktails are some of the strongest and best that I have had in the city. If you prefer your drinks watered-down, you should probably go elsewhere. Because these ones have a kick!

We were quite disappointed that many of the old time favorites are no longer on the menu and the choices are much more limited. The green beans and duck were excellent as always but disappointed in the mongolian noodles and the tuna "bruschetta" appetizer. This used to be a place I really looked forward to going to but it might be a while before I go back.

Very disappointing. Cocktails were not good, one we had to send back the others weren’t mixed properly. Food delivery was very uneven (two dishes were significantly delayed and delivered when we were almost done). Mandarin chicken was poor quality (and it’s our favorite dish thus we’ve had previously). Wine (white) was luke warm. This used to be a go to place for our family for celebratory dinners but we likely won’t be back. The quality has declined significantly in lock step with prices rising meaningfully.

This was my first seattle restaurant from 8 years ago! So much that I chose this to be my 1st anniversary dinner, even called it out in the reservation, but alas the service was really poor (the waitress didn't even ask how the food was for the first 30 minutes after serving us, and took ~20 minutes to even get our drinks ordered). I'm hoping this was just a one-off because I'll be saddened to see one of my favorite asian / thai food places go down like this :-(. Additionally, I had called out in the reservation that it's our anniversary, but they didn't even inquire about anything special they could do.

The food and service were excellent as always but as someone outside the main door to the restaurant set off an entire container of pepper spray, all diners were affected and the restaurant emptied out for health reasons. Overall not a good experience. I will definitely go back though hoping that never happens again.

Always reliably excellent. They manage to accommodate a vegan diet deliciously! The service is always outstanding, particularly if you can manage to be in Dell's section.

Always enjoy the food selections at Wild Ginger. Our waiter was attentive and enjoyable.
The food was all exceptional in flavor and presentation. Since it's been awhile since I've eaten in downtown Seattle, I was a bit surprised at the prices of the items on the menu.

Really not as good as it used to be. A lot of pretty ordinary Asian food at very high prices. Nothing was really outstanding that we shared. Service was excellent. Would have been fine, except for the cost.

Wild Ginger never fails!!! Our waiter Vincente was wonderful as he helped me with my specific dietary needs and actually made a "special sauce" to accommodate my goals. All his suggestions were spot on and he totally "got it" and made for a fabulous dining experience!!! It's always our go to place when visiting the Seattle area and can't wait for our next visit there!!!

Wild Ginger seems to have outlived its reputation as a great place to take out of town guests for good Asian fusion cuisine. The food used to be so good, now it's only passable. Not sure why it's still popular. We used to love it, but there are many other great places to go in Seattle and this one's no longer on our list. A real disappointment.

We were there celebrating a work anniversary for a co-worker, and we wanted something that wasn't on the regular menu (it was a special that wasn't currently on the menu). The waitress double checked with the kitchen and we were able to order it. Great service and food!

We have eaten here several times for 3/for/xx and from the regular menu, and always rated the food as 5 stars. This time it was 3/for/xx and they were not up to the task. We participated in 3/for/xx at five places this year and would rate Wild Ginger last in food quality and portions. The starter I had was 2 large bites, while the main course was three dry, over-cooked shrimp and some greens. I ordered a bowl of rice or would have left hungry. Most places try to high-light their special skills during 3/for/xx. W G seemed a reluctant participant. We will return though as their track record with us is quite high.

More like "wildly over-priced & over-rated." Food quality was not terrible, but only on-par with asian-fusion take-out quality. But the prices...yow! Totally not worth it. We also got stuck with a terrible waiter who never returned to the table, brought food at odd intervals that didn't match, and we had to constantly try to flag him down. Also, had a cocktail that was pretty terrible. It was an Old Fashioned, which any bartender should be able to do well. It was bitter and tasteless and was likely cheap well whiskey. Also, a weird thing we all remarked about is the seats are quite uncomfortable and force you to sit at an odd, slightly laid-back angle, which is awkward for eating. We will not return nor recommend it to anyone.

The meal was great. Our waiter was friendly and had a great sense of humor. He was professional and kept an eye on us although he was quite busy. Speaking of busy, it was quite busy when we arrived and the noise level was high. the first hostess sort of rolled her eyes when the hostess she had seat us came back with us. The noise was so loud and carried up and I did not want to sit on the second story as my husband is hard of hearing. I explained this to both hostesses. So the first hostess had the second take us to the bar area - again, a little too loud. Third time was a charm when the second hostess took us to the dining room side which had 4 or 5 free tables. It was cooler and more comfortable as far as temperature and the noise level was good for conversation. The food and the waiter saved this restaurant's rating for me.

We took advantage of the Seattle Restaurant Week promotion to check out this place's unusual menu. My wife particularly liked the pork appetizer and we both found the chicken entree good with a larger than anticipated portion. The coconut gelatto was also very tasty.

I think we may have had a server in training because there was a long delay between receiving my appetizer and my wife getting hers. That also may have been due to the fact the restaurant was getting busier.

Noise level - I would not call it "energetic" - more likely deafening. Wild Ginger would benefit from sound tiles. Looking at the typical age of the dinner guests in the restaurant that evening it appeared that most of us were over 55. Background noise levels make it hard to have a conversation because of the age related hearing loss. Menu graphic design could be crisper and larger type for vision clarity and still look good.
Enjoy the food and the service is great. But the noise level is tough to endure and given the option I would pick another place for dinner where I can have a conversation with my business colleagues.

We have gone to Wild Ginger for many years but have not been there in probably a year. I cannot believe how it has fallen off. Food was so so. Service was so so and at times disruptive to our meal. I will not go back and believe me I have spoken to many others about our experience. Too bad.
