Super great food. Loved the dinner and dessert.
Waitress was a little forgetful of us but we were also pretty slow to decide what we wanted.
Excellent! Meal and service both.
As usual the food was fantastic! Everything tasty and well-prepared. But even though we told our server that we had limited time because of going to a show downstairs, he somehow forgot to order 1 of our 3 entrees. When questioned, he said it would be out in a moment, but it was quite a bit longer. Caused some stress in our party. The last time we went to Wild Ginger for dinner our service was so bad the manager ended up taking a lot off our bill. Servers need some training!
My husband and I went there for dinner and were seated in the upstairs balcony area. He had the 7 Flavor Beef and I had the Princess Prawns. Both of them were excellent! The portion size was perfect for him and too much for me. The server was friendly and prompt and we were out of there in under an hour. I would recommend this to anyone.
Very nice place in downtown. I liked the comfortable atmosphere - perfect for dinner and drinks with friends. I would definitely return.
We were seated immediately and our order taken promptly (by Joseph). Our first courses came promptly but we waited 10+ minutes for our second. Since we had a concert at 8, which the waiter was aware of, we expected service to be faster. Perhaps our order was lost? Even our waiter mentioned it seemed slow. When it came it was delicious (7 spice beef and a chicken curry), but we felt rushed and were rushed to get to Benaroya in time. A pity. and 70$! so not a bargain (no drinks).
Ginger is always good. Tonight only fair. Service was lacking. Food quality while good was not what it has been. Sitting on your laurels???? Remember, consumers have other options.
Never a disappointment at Wild Ginger. Servers are extremely helpful in guiding you through the menu. Every time we visit Seattle I make a point of having a great dinner at this location.
A wonderful spot before/after a concert in nearby venues. Delicious food; friendly, efficient service; nice ambiance. The upstairs seating is better (downstairs is a little noisier); but the restaurant is very good throughout.
This must be the 6th time I’ve been here over the years when visiting Seattle. The first time it was new food and kind of exciting. That is no longer the case as Thai and Asian food are now widely available. The food is still good albeit a bit expensive. Service is great as is the location. Wine list, cocktails, and drinks are pretty impressive.
It was amazing! Great food. Just wow.
Wild Ginger is one of our go-to restaurants for pre-theatre dinner. We love the satays, but the duck and sea bass are our favorites. Not to mention the ginger martinis.... Service is always great, too.
noisy and loud. amber, our server was great. food just room temperature and just ok. would not return..too many good places to eat in Seattle.
The three-course meal for $33 was good. You get to chose from a few of appetizers, a few entrees, and a few desserts. The items we wanted were among the options. The asparagus/beef was good. It was a good place for an early dinner after the 2 PM concert in Benaroya Hall next door.
First time in Seattle and went to Wild Ginger on a recommendation of a friend. Did not disappoint. Food was amazing, service was great. Perfect spot for a date night in the city. Love, love, love this place.
Lovely dinner
Stopped by this Asian fusion downtown restaurant after a morning of playing tourist. Decided to dim sum it and stick to the small plates. The lobster and shrimp wonton soup was excellent and quite tasty. The sates were among the best I have ever had. The lettuce cups were creative and tasty. The one disappointment were the potstickers. Though many have raves about them, I found them dense and plebeian. Despite this, not every dish has to be a home run and I would recommend this restaurant.
Food was good, especially the duck. Our waitress was wonderful, too.
Menu getting smaller. Prices getting much higher. Good quality but not good value.
This place was incredible! While slightly pricy, it was worth every penny in taste. They used unique ingredients that mastered flavors I've never tasted before. We ordered 2 appetizers that were to die for and 3 entrees that were out of this world. I must say I was so anxious for dessert, but by the time we completed our meal we were stuffed, so dessert will have to wait for next time and trust you me, there will be a next time. Out of this world!
Celebrated my girlfriends engagement !
Haven't myself been in years and attended because of Seattle Restaurant Week. The selections were awesome, as well as the food and presentation.
The waiter was not knowledgeable about the dishes and also brought out the wrong order. It made it a not so great experience
Fun place to eat, lots of choices. Good to share and try everything. Loved it.
What a delight in every category! We made reservations and included friends not realizing they had been there two nights earlier. They loved it so much, they were happy to go back and even eat the same things again. No complaints on anything. Stellar - great job!
Good food, wonderful service - the server made sure our meals arrived in time to get out the door for an event at Benaroya. Only issue is the noise - the restaurant was full, which made it a bit hard to hear conversation at our table. Otherwise, a lovely experience.
Wild Ginger never never disappoints. The food and selection are top notch as is the wine and cocktail list. The reception desk and wait staff are so professional and friendly even when the restaurant is full. We didn't realize it is was "Restaurant Week" so it was a wonderful surprise. The 3 course menu option had a variety and easy to pick a favorite. Wild Ginger is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. The food is superb and the experience is always, always great!
Went as a part of restaurant week, and it was absolutely worth it. They also accepted my Seattle Times coupon along with their special menu. Great food at a decent price.
We had great service, especially when we asked to split the bill three ways at the last minute when my guests insisted on paying for their share, and to get us quickly out the door in time for our curtain. The food was delicious and the two vegetarians at our table were happy.
Had a great Friday night date night at Wild Ginger! Sat at the bar and the bartenders were very friendly and service was extremely fast. Ordered the wings, potstickers, seven flavored beef, and chicken Phad Thai. Food came out quickly and was delicious! Seven flavored beef and wings were the favorite dishes of the evening. Would highly recommend.
Wild Ginger is known for quality, flavorful food. Unfortunately I can name a half-dozed similar restaurants that serve food of comparable quality and flavor at a price point half of WG.. Not worth it.
Food was reliably good as usual. Convenient option downtown.
We were a bit disappointed in the three course menu for Restaurant week. Yes, the asparagus with minced shrimp in a piece of lettuce was nice and we both enjoyed the mahi mahi.. somehow, portions seemed really small and we felt a bit underwhelmed after having dined at the Barking Frog! Our server was great and the food was delivered to our table in a timely manner.
We ate here before attending a show at the Triple Door. The food and service were amazing - fast and delicious. The wine list is extensive (2000 selections) and the toasted coconut martini is delicious. We will be back, for sure.
Group of 6 friends; 5 got the restaurant week meal and I got the delicious duck. Everyone loved their meals. Very tasty and well-presented. We've come here for years and years, and the quality is always super.
Food was nice, portions larger than expected. Service, however, was very inattentive.
A truly wonderful experience: Delicious food, great service w a smile & interesting table w a street view onto Union & 3rd !
In spite of Seattle Restaurant Week’s increased activities, the service was not only well organized but smooth and without a problem delivered promptly & w a smile by Ashley :) Thank U!
Wonderful food and impeccable service. We hope to dine again the next time we are in Seattle!!
Our server was amazing, food was wonderful. It was a great place to celebrate a birthday!
Disappointed by service and quality of food at one of my go to dining choices. Inattentive waiter, the princess prawns were over fried and the book chit arrived to late to eat. Waiter was aware of when we wanted to leave. Monk fish special was very good. No time for desert or coffee. The time between cocktail delivery and food order was much too long.
