My 14 year old son and I happened upon Wild Ginger and had an absolute blast!! Amazing flavors and our experience was further enhanced by Amalia (hope I spelled her name correctly)!! Every recommendation was perfect! We can’t wait to come back to Seattle! This is our new habit 😎

The good: service was very good. Food was decent

The bad: restaurant seemed quite dirty. Food ground into the carpet. Menu was limited. Not the Wild Ginger I remembered.

The food was up to their usual standard but we were really disappointed in our service last night. I don't know if we saw our waitress once after our meal arrived, which took a really long time. Credit to the staff member (not wait staff, he was wearing a light shirt and tie, not the all black of the wait staff) to stepped up when he saw our credit cards on the table and got us our check.

We have always liked the wild ginger, good food and a good value for Seattle, however this visit we both were disappointed. The duck was too fatty (couldn't finish it) and the Mongolian noodles were bland (no flavor and no spice); nor was i asked how spicy i wanted it. Our drinks took forever to get, and our waiter stopped by and told us be was waiting for the bartender (tacky)

The food was great and service was fantastic, it did get a little loud but overall was a pleasant dining experience. I would go again and it was very convenient to Benaroya Hall, which made it even better!

The design of the restaurant is very clean and contemporary. We started with two cocktails; both were outstanding. We had potstickers as an appetizer. They were pretty good. We had the Mongolian noodles and the Thai eggplant for entrees, and they were both delicious. Our server was excellent. She even helped us figure out how to take the bus to the space needle the next day.

I dined at Wild Ginger with my 2 daughters, we were attending an event at Benaroya Hall. My oldest daughter is very allergic to tree nuts and peanuts, so we are careful in restaurants that might have nuts in their food. She informed our waiter of her allergy, and he was so considerate! He noted it in the order, and even came back to check on us after the food was served. Honestly I have never experienced this, it was amazing. And the food was delicious!

I have eaten at Wild Ginger numerous times.... both on my own and with friends and it has been incredible for both food and service every time!

A while back, I had a dish that I thought had a bit more salt than the last time I had it, I had almost finished the dish (not bad enough not to eat) and the staff thanked me for my comment and took it off the check (not expected or needed)!

I have a friend who is gluten intolerant (the real kind, not just because of "fashion") and the menu is incredible!

Our server was incredibly helpful. She inquired as soon as we were seated if we were attending an event across the street at Beneroya Hall after dinner. We were -- and so she made sure that our food was served promptly and that we were able to finish in enough time to make it through the security checkpoints to see and hear Vice President Joe Biden speaking. She also arranged to have a few more items added to some plates that we wanted to share four-ways. Overall, it was a great experience -- except that the noise level made it almost impossible to carry on a conversation with our guests. Might some baffles be added to the ceilings to help soften the acute noise level?

We tried to enjoy the Wild Ginger with a couple little ones. Oddly the adults food and drinks came first, leaving the child with nothing for some time.
Food was just mediocre, and quite expensive. Probably not inclined to return.

Wild Ginger never disappoints. It is directly across the street from the Seattle Symphony, and the staff is great about making sure we are served with time to spare before the concert. Both of our cocktails were delicious!

I have had a number of spectacular meals at Wild Ginger in the distant past. I am not sure when they decided to emulate PF Changs, but this was fast food, at best. We ordered mongolian noodles, 7 spice beef, and green beans. While flavors were ok, the food had obviously been cooked well in advance. It was served just a touch above room temperature. And literally within 5 minutes of ordering. Fast food. Not what I expected from what used to be a consistently yummy place.

Went to Wild Ginger for a business dinner, 6 people. Although we were seated quickly, it took an eternity to get drinks and appetizers. When the waitress finally came to take our food order she apologized that she had been busy with the people headed to Benaroya for a show.
I understand the busy rush, but it would have helped if she had told us that up front.
It also would have been appreciated if the waitress hadn't continually called us "honey" and "dear".
Once the place cleared out, we had great service.
Despite the service, the food was very good. Nicely varied menu and we enjoyed it a lot.

The food is great. Second time there, we are from Portland. Our waitress this time was aloof, so that put a damper on the experience, but the food outshined her, even though she seemed like a person waiting to be discovered as a model. I know it may be a strange review, but good service matters.L

Disappointed that the menu has drastically changed since our last visit. Not a “kid friendly “ restaurant. Missed some of our previously favorite entrees.
Our dinner orders did not all arrive at the table at the same time. There was about a 15 minute delay in getting some of the entrees ordered.
Overall disappointing!

Fourth or fifth time for us. Always delightful. Great ambiance. Sophisticated yet unfussy menu. Creative cocktails. The perfect spot to enjoy pre-show fine dining (we were heading to Paramount Theater shortly after).

I was underwhelmed. I arrived early and had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated because "the staff were in a meeting". The food was only OK (I got the mongolian noodles) BUT I am pretty biased because I live in a city full of the best thai food just about anywhere in the world. There was a server kinda patrolling around the dining area who didn't appear to do anything (never approached me and asked if I needed a refill or anything) so that was a little weird. I'd heard so many good things about Wild Ginger that I was expecting more. Perhaps my expectations were too high!
