Great experience all around. Delicious delicious food. Creative choices. Great service and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.
Went for dinner and happy hour with friends. APPARENTLY happy hour is only at the bar which is not explained anywhere on the website. The restaurant itself is very boring-what you’d expect from a hotel restaurant.
Food is good but the drinks are slightly over priced and taste like margarita mix. Probably won’t be back.
Nothing special, food was average. Waiter was pleasant and took care of us when one of the entrees was a big disappointment. One of us had ordered the “Crispy Redfish”. Nothing crispy about it - the filet served was not as described, it looked broiled lightly without any crispiness and it tasted less than fresh. The presentation reminded us of a cafeteria like Luby’s. It was sent back after two bites. The waiter was gracious about it and told us that he had heard that feedback before about the lack of crispiness, not as described in the menu. Too bad the restaurant doesn’t fix the description or the food for that entree. The waiter allowed us to order something else - in this case we tried the Shrimp Pad Thai which was much better. and a decent number of shrimp. We also had Steak Frites which was ok. Happy hour prices were good.
It wasn't busy (like 1/4 full) but we sat for 10 minutes before the host realized our server hadn't been by and asked if we wanted to order drinks. After he brought the wine list, we didn't see anyone for another 10 minutes. Our server made his presence known exactly three times: to take our order, to bring the entrees, to drop our payment. Someone else took our drink order, brought our appetizer, filled water, asked how things were after our plates were gone (we asked for the bill) and took the payment to our server. If he looked frazzled or was busy, I'd be forgiving but we felt like we were an inconvenience. I'll never come to this location again.
So I choose this location for a birthday dinner and the food was great and the decor and ambience was nice. I tried th nachos and I was really impressed.
Went to a birthday lunch and birthday was not acknowledged .
Please explain. Perhaps we set our expectation improperly.
This restaurant is fabulous! We picked it on a whim and were so thankful that we did. The food is fresh, local and delicious. Lots of gluten-free options on the menu. The staff are very friendly and great at their jobs. We were visiting with friends and Julie, our waitress, was the perfect balance of being attentive but allowed us to visit and never made us feel rushed. We highly recommend this restaurant as it exceeded all of our expectations!!
Get the Allen's Chicken and Parm truffle fries on the side..you'll be pleased
This is in the galleria but if you valet park at the westin they do validate... Food was good got the chicken club my mom got the bison burger .. Also the chicken tortilla soup was good
Very slow service. Food was good.
Good food and a quiet setting made this an enjoyable dinner destination for me and several family members from out of town. What a great menu too! There is a little something for everyone and I especially loved that they had paleo/low-carb options!
Fantastic meal in a busy spot. Great escape from typical mall fare. Delicious and unique
Decent food and good service. Nice find on Christmas Day.
Great experience for Christmas Brunch😀
We had high hopes as the menu looked good. The service is spotty at best. Not sure if it’s just run poorly or they don’t keep much inventory as every wine we ordered was not available. Then the one bottle they had was warm. Keep in mind it’s a list of about 20 bottles total. Inventory can’t be difficult. The appetizers we ordered were more like bar food then a decent restaurant. I can’t recommend the place and won’t be back. I would be surprised if it’s there in a year . We tried.
The service was fantastic, as was my meal.
We love the food and drinks!
We love it here.
This is one of our weekly date spots.
The soups, salads and entrees are outstanding.
The table wait service is attentive and professional .
Had to track down the host so we would get credit for our OpenTable reservation.
the menu is great. the price is great. I went there twice and both times the wait for the food was far too long.
Staff was clueless of the holiday menu but tried their best during a skeleton crew
Great brunch. Very pleased with everything we had.
We used to love this place for Sunday brunch. But our most recent experience was very disappointing. The food was okay — nothing special, particularly given the price. Also, the absence of the breakfast pizza on the menu is a real shame. But the service was the real problem. Even though we had a reservation and there were several open tables, we waited a long time to be seated — mostly because nobody was at the hostess station to seat us, and the tables needed cleaned. The service only got worse after that. It took forever to take our order and then bring us our drinks and food. One cup of coffee filled with grinds, and no one ever came back to offer a refill. It was obvious the staff is bored, lacks motivation, and they don’t really seem to care about customer service. What a disappointment for a place we used to really enjoy a couple of years ago.
Hostess was great; checked me in and seated me as soon as I walked in. My waiter was no where to be found; I sat and waited for 10 minutes with no waiter--eventually I signaled a different waiter from another section just so I could place my order.
I honestly contemplated walking out but opted against it as my hostess was so kind and I was famished.
The waiter issues seems to be of the norm because the table next to me also had to call for a random waiter minutes after being seated to place their order.
I ordered the watermelon lemonade which was mostly water melon juice (don't get me wrong; it was a freshly squeezed juice that tasted like watermelons) with no taste of lemonade.
For my entree, I opted for the chicken and shrimp pad Thai. It was cooked and served to me within 20 minutes.
The chicken (which was ground) wasn't consistent with the chunks of shrimp it was mixed with in my personal opinion. The sauce for the pad Thai was overwhelmingly nutty. It was more of a peanut curry taste rather than pad Thai sauce. And although it was edible and tasted nice it wasn't pad thai sauce. With that said perhaps this isn't the best restaurant to try out Thai food especially if you're reading this and new to it. Go for a more contemporary American dish. I'd hate for you to judge Thai food based on a dish at an American Contemporary restaurant.
Great service, food and drinks.
We went for birthday brunch for my mom she loved it. All of our guest enjoyed it as well worth the price.
I accidentally chose this restaurant and was disappointed to find that I had chosen a mall location. Service was obscenely slow, we had to ask frequently for our server and prompted all needed items. Wine list was bleak, menu left much to be desired and execution was in line with all other experiences. Would not return.
Our party really enjoyed the food. One of our drinks was slightly off but they fixed it pretty quick. Overall I felt the service was really good and everything came out on time. Do yourself a favor and use the valet and when you eat there they will validate your ticket. We probably wasted about 20 minutes looking for a spot. We aren't the galleria pros anyways so it's all new to us.
Great place to catch up with friends for brunch on the weekend! Good food but very small portions.
our waiter was very rude and seemed to be rushed and pushy but the restaurant was 75% empty. the food was a little pricey for being inside a mall and only tasting mediocre. the fresh juices were $10 for 1/2 of a juice glass full.
Good flavors moderate pricing.
I was looking forward to a good meal based on reviews. We ate off the brunch menu. the avocado toast and the eggs benedict were very mediocre. Others at the table enjoyed their meals. I would try again but could not recommend to friends until I figured out if this meal was a fluke. Maybe I need to drink next time:)
Food was ok not great. Service was uneven.
Good restaurant, limited menu but the food was delicious
Really enjoy the service and primarily use for business breakfast meetings. I highly Recommend.
Great prices, food and service, especially if you are looking for a variety of gluten free selections.
We went here for mothers day. I had the chicken and bacon waffles which was really good. My wife had the mothers day special which came with an entree and dessert for $25. She had the smoked salmon with poached eggs, which she was not really all that enthused about. The dessert was the upside down pineapple waffle which was literally a waste of money and time. It's just a regular waffle with pineapple baked in and whipped cream on top. It's not exactly what we had in mind for a dessert. Other than that, staff was great and friendly. And free valet parking when you valet through Westin Oaks! I might come back if we are in the area, but I wouldn't make the trip from Katy otherwise.
Not great, not bad-
I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The truffle fries weren't as great as I expected and were delivered room temp. The last few bites of my burger were super salty. I drank an entire carafe of the brunch punch and felt nothing. I'd call it overpriced. The staff was genuinely nice though and not overbearing- I thoroughly respect that :)
