Food was nicely presented but the meat and fish was WAY too salty.
Went here before a show at the tabernacle. Food was awesome and service was incredible!! I felt like we had 5 ppl waiting on us. We were late and they were so accommodating and our food came out so quickly. Highly recommend!
Always great food and service. Great management team!
The chef was able to honor a request for our dinner to make fried green tomatoes for my boss’ birthday. Outstanding. Service level was exceptional. Have the fried chicken.
This occasion was for a work team lunch with nine people. We were seated at a very long table; would have preferred a round table which would have made conversation with everyone easier, but that might not be possible with the room's layout. The food is good; our server was quite good.
We had Josh as our waiter and together with his excellent service, tasty food, and great drinks we had a wonderful time. It was surprising that there weren’t a lot of people there on a Friday night. If this restaurant were in my native Seattle it would have been really difficult to get a table. Thanks for serving us and showing us a good time.
I took a client for a business lunch. We were seated immediately and promptly served. The pace of the meal was brisk, which I especially appreciate at lunch during a weekday. She-crab soup was excellent, glad to see it back on the menu. The burger is also a very good choice. I recommend White Oak for a business lunch.
The waitress was completely clueless - we were a group of 6 paying separately. She brought back all credit card except for one an disappeared. We waited for 20 min with no explanation. She also messed up one of the orders. The food was just OK and overpriced, the iced tea way too sweet. Do not recommend this place.
Beautiful place, great appetizers and drinks but the entrees were lacking.
Booked this based on other reviews but sadly this restaurant was not up to par. Even with a reservation I waited over 10 minutes for a waiter to recognize that we had been seated. I ordered the crab cake appetizer and it was uncooked mushy in the middle. Gross. My husband ordered the scallops and they were raw, almost inedible. No one ever came We had to track down the waiter in the restaurant to get out check as we had tickets to a show and needed to leave. Sorry, but terrible food and terrible service. We are from out of town, so don't worry, we won't be back.
We had an amazing dinner at White Oak Kitchen. The starters were especially creative and outstanding. We would definitely return when we are in town again.
Innovative southern cuisine, outstanding service.
Great food and service!
It was so loud we could not carry on a conversation. The menu read wonderfully but the food wasn't great.
Went in for a quiet lunch, was promptly greeted by hostess and sat. It was a business/personal lunch with a colleague. I brought the family along and they happily catered to our infant bringing a high chair and asking if we needed anything special for him. Damian did a great job on the service and drinks. White oak kitchen is always a go to in downtown for me.
Great little place with outside seating
The food was good but the service was verrrrrry slow.
This was our second time at the restaurant we brought my daughter and her fiancé; they were very impressed. Our service was excellent and the food was delicious. I appreciate that there are slight substitutions allowed. We will definitely be back. One side note do not get the small chocolate Bundt cake very dry and unappealing.
Nice outdoor seating area. Food was delicious and looked amazing on the plate. The service was slow because they were understaffed. It would have been nice to have more vegetarian options.
Food was awesome, atmosphere was great.
Amazing food, history and bourbon list!
We had a wonderful Mother's Day brunch here. The buffet was amazing and the servers were all extremely polite and attentive.
Meal (the grouper) was as delicious! Service was excellent (thanks Sean!). Cocktails were yum. Friend was pleased with my dining choice. So good job, WOKC!
Food was delicious and service was great!! Perfect for a business lunch.
Very noisy. Very slow service. The server brings the soup but no spoons. Have to ask for it!
Overpriced. Will not visit again.
Great atmosphere, service and food
Excellent food with excellent service! We will definitely be back!
We love this place!! The food was amazing! We had a party of 10, and they put us in a private room. Savannah was a wonderful server. We def will be back!!!
Cocktails in the spectacular bar area and dinner in the elegant dining room. Sean did a fabulous job helping us with the menu selections to maximize our first time experience! Will return again!
Our visit was complete from the moment we walked into White Oak till the end of our meal!! The staff and the food was spot on. Thanks for having PBR for my husband.😉
We went to White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails after an Atlanta United game. It was an elegant choice with a tasty menu.
Great food and was able to sit outside which was ideal for the weather the day we dined
The service was spectacular the food was awesome but it was very noisy. Our party of seven had a difficult time hearing each other
My wife and I made this reservation hoping for a good, peaceful dinner. We were seated beside a large empty table that eventually held a large party of people. During all the greetings and standing and talking I was bumped and pushed in my seat so often that I had to get up and move. We had appetizers which were very good and were going to have the main course and dessert but decided to leave because of all the noise and rudeness. We also didn't finish the drinks we ordered. I was disappointed that the staff couldn't have offered alternate accommodations for us. Really disappointing.
Third time here and it did not disappoint. Consistently a great place for a date or a dinner meeting.
Cocktails were really good. Food not so much.
We enjoyed our first visit to White Oak Kitchen. Our table was ready when we arrived at our reserved time. The table was perfect for our party. We enjoyed the food and friendly service. A suggestion - the server should have explained the menu to us since this was our first visit. We over-ordered and could have shared a couple dishes had we known the serving size. Also, I felt that the brunch buffet was a bit over priced at $55 (and we're from Chicago and used to high prices!) All in all, it was a very good experience and I we will definitely return to White Oak Kitchen when we are in Atlanta again.
I really enjoyed my time at White Oak Kitchen and Cocktails as I celebrated my birthday. From the manager to the waitress I was well taken care. Will go back again
Had a great dinner with some of my out of town workplace managers attending a trade show. Enjoyed it so much took my wife there the next week. This time I was paying and after $185 dinner for two (we shared an appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert) it was pricy, add another $100 if you don't plan on sharing.
Id say this was a great workplace dinner (tradeshow) but would not be my first pick for fine dining with the wife. This was fine dining and we enjoyed. Great staff and private parking was nice.
Food was great and so was the service. My fiancé and I split the Mac n cheese, the green salad and the bone in filet. We enjoyed them all. The Mac n cheese had a nice kick to it and was a generous portion for just the two of us. The salad was light and tasty, maybe would ask for the cranberries on the side next time, my fiancé wasn’t a huge fan of those. The filet was cooked perfectly. The sauce was a maybe just a little salty if you are sensitive to that, but I enjoyed it. Really liked the carrots, the parsnips were a little bit tough.
