    The food, cocktails and service were excellent - we own a restaurant and my chef husband is hard to please but we were very happy! We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes, the spanish octopus, the porcelet and the seabass. Cocktails were delicious and the wine list extensive - had to ask for the bottle list. Would definitely dine there again.

    The white Oak Kitchen and Cocktails have the worst food and Cocktails ever!! Terrible management and food quality is the worst. TGI Fridays is better at this point. The staff is super unorganized, and they look like they have been sleeping under a bridge, very concerning. We left Hungry and thirsty, and no one cared.

    My husband and I went here to experience southern food and we were not disappointed. We started with the fried green tomatoes and pork belly and jam sandwiches. Both appetizers were delicious. We had the red snapper and pimento grit for our entrees. The red snapper was tender and succulent. The pimento grits were the best grits I have ever had. The service was friendly and attentive. If I vacation in Atlanta in the future I will definitely go back to this restaurant.

    If you are a picky eater be prepared that the menu is small. Definitely review it before you go to be sure there is something for you. Ask for Bridget! She's a kind and attentive server. We enjoyed our visit because of her.

    The starters were absolutely delicious! The mains were good, but not as good as the starters. The restaurant had great staff, very attentive and very personable. Would dine here again and try more on the menu!

    The food descriptions were vague so we had to inquire about several dishes. The creativity of combinations of meat and vegetables was phenomenal. Kudos to the chef!

    The food was amazing. The service was sub par. You would expect more in terms of service at this price point. The gentleman at the host stand did a fabulous job, greeted us, quickly seated us, and pointed out the wine and restrooms on the way to the table. So we were off to a good start! The servers were nice but they were not communicating with each other and the timing was off. We didn’t have bar drinks yet, but felt pressured/rushed to order food. So they came out about the same time. Then I ordered a glass of wine to go with my food, but it never showed up. Thankfully the waitress removed it from my bill, but no apology, acknowledgment, or would you like something else. No mention of desert or coffee which we would have stayed and enjoyed in a nice place like this. This was a Monday night, well before closing time, and about half the tables were empty so I didn’t understand the rush to get us out or not make sure it was a nice dining experience because the food and ambiance is definitely there. We left and just went back to our hotel bar for desert and drinks. Servers were just not friendly or welcoming, not rude, but missed the warmth I would have expected at this level of dining. Manager was walking around but never took the time to stop by our table or I would have mentioned to him.

    We were first out in a side room in an undesirable spot. (Facing a curtain wall and next to a computer and waitstaff table. I asked to move but was told that we could t by hostess but then our waiter was able to move us to a different amd better table in same room so that was better! The food was fabulous and our waiter Dayton was darling and very good!

    Food was only fair. Flavors mixed ok but some strange pairings and the excessive amount of arugula was overwhelming. There is a diffence between bacon and country ham. Sauces with nuts needs to be noted on the menu due to allergies. I had spare ribs and would have rather my dush served on a plate instead of a bowl, but that is my preference. I would recommend with a "you may like it give it a try."

    The menu was limited. White Oak was out of many of the things on the menu. The bartender was less that helpful and didn't seem to know his liquor selection. The food was poorly prepared. I was entertaining clients and was totally embarrassed. There were a total of 10 people in the restaurant - 5 were in my party.

    Everything was absolutely amazing! Our server, Bridgette really made our evening! She went above and beyond to make us feel at home after traveling 7hrs. She catered to my daughters which is a big plus. My daughters lamb was a PERFECT MR and the rabbit dish was absolutely delicious! If we are ever in Atlanta again, we will be back!

    We had a lovely evening with a fabulous pace. The swordfish dish and short rib was delicious and cooked to perfection which I shared with someone at our table. I also had the beet salad and it was enough to share as my starter and I highly recommend these dishes. Great vibe and ambiance for a social dinner with friends and colleagues.

    This was  a spontaneous pick while visiting the Atlanta area. We were looking for somewhere close to where we were enjoying a spa day. Wow wow wow what an amazing brunch we were so surprised that it was pretty empty considering how great the food and service was. it’s in a pretty decent area. we walked from the W so I can’t really talk about the parking. the menu items we had were the short rib hash , and the salmon. The presentation matched the taste very well executed! Everything was Instagramable and delicious. We were also in awe of how we got four perfectly poached eggs. 😂😂  The price was also fairly decent considering it’s in the heart of Atlanta. In total, our bill was under $100. We did not purchase any alcohol,though.  We will be trying this again.

    I was excited to take my husband here on his birthday trip to Atlanta. I read the menu and was excited about the wild game—definitely up my husband’s alley. I also read reviews which rated it well. We went in wanting to like it. The ambience and decor were lovely. Our server, however, had a lackluster attitude in comparison. I have received better service at McDonald’s as far as a welcome. He didn’t offer to bring us drinks or tell us any specials or to recommend any dishes—it was an unenthusiastic “y’all know what you want?” We asked for water to drink and ordered two appetizers (venison tartare and octopus) which were delicious. My husband ordered a cocktail which came from the bar and was well crafted. When my husband asked how the rabbit was prepared our server rambled as if unsure: it’s rabbit, roasted or cooked in some way and then it comes with the sides on the menu—so he was not very knowledgeable about the food or menu. I ordered a glass of white wine which came out warm (well over room temperature) and swordfish “catch of the week” which came out as cod rather than swordfish and had about 20 large bones in the small (a bite for me and a bit for my husband to make sure I was tasting it correctly) two bites we took—so it was not prepared very well prior to cooking. I feel like this restaurant may have been great at one point, but, sadly, it is working its way to subpar and underwhelming.

    I went on Sunday just after noon for brunch. Had the Silver Dollar Pancakes with grits. The grits were a tad dry but tasty. The pancakes were delicious. I had a cappuccino with it. It was quiet despite a half full house. The service was fast, and my server kept checking in with me.

    Likely a restaurant that “feels better” at night. The space itself could use some work - starting to look worn out. This is definitely a $$$ (3 dollar sign) pricing. Food was delicious. We had a friendly and helpful waitress. The site says there’s valet parking and there isn’t and that leaves a really sketchy parking area next door as the best option.

    Second time there and the experience went from a solid 5-star to 2.5-3 star experience. The pork belly appetizer resembled two small pieces of thick bacon. Hardly enough to even get a taste experience. Not worth the cost. The main course of spare ribs was solid. Very good. The chocolate desert tasted like it came out of a can. Nothing exciting or rich. Not worth eating the calories for the substandard taste. Our waitress was absolutely not ready for prime time. She should have been shadowed by an experienced waiter. Made us feel nervous as she stumbled through the evening. Not her fault though as she said she was just getting us started as the (real) waiter would take over, but never did. Not a cheap price, for a mediocre experience. I recommended the place and felt like I left my group down. I won't make that mistake again. Too many other "better" restaurants to explore. You let me down.

    Disappointed that menu changes were not reflected which was a factor in choosing this location. No bread options were a surprise and no alternatives were available. This location seems to be limited in service options.

    First time eating at White Oak Kitchen. Had cocktails at the bar first, was a little disappointing as the bartender wasn't sure about the beer selection but I do believe she was trying to wrap things up as there was a shift change. But over all, there was not problem. My cocktail was very good. Our waiter, Cole (I believe) was great! He advised of the new menu items and made some great suggestions. The scallops appetizer was amazing!! My halibut was very good and the over all menu was enjoyed by both attendees. For there to be a convention in the area and the restaurant/bar to be busy, the over all noise level was great!! We were able to have conversations without having to yell or struggle to hear. Looking forward to coming back.

    Very interesting location and nice inside but they didn't have an appetizer or (2) entrée options I requested on a small menu - I prefer to a small menu but to then not have 3 items during a time period that included Hawks, Taylor Swift, Janet Jackson and a large insurance conference tells me that they simply weren't prepared properly.
