White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails
First time eating here and if I am ever in town, I would be back!
I booked a table for one. I was told to just sit at the bar. Then when I said no, there was some huffing and puffing and after about 5 minutes they showed me to my
One of the best meals I’ve ever had. The fried chicken was unreal and the collard greens were top notch. Everything was on point and I can’t wait to find an excuse to spend some time in Atlanta just so I can return!!!
We were out for a night in Atlanta. We were recommended this place and it was fabulous! Great menu selection, wine selection, and great service! The place is well decorated and spacious. We will be coming back and bringing friends with us!
We LOVED our dining experience! My redfish was cooked perfectly and so fresh! The biscuits were to die for - and the gem and beet salad so fresh and perfectly presented! Thank you!!! We will be back!
Fabulous food. Great decor and comfortable place to enjoy dinner.
The appetizers were great, the mains were a huge disappointment. Would only come for apps and dinner somewhere else.
Overall so disappointing! Our server responded to what are the vegan options - salad or any of the veggie sides. One of folks asked about a burger and was told that they don’t have burgers. Yet several burgers were being served on the bar side. He brought out the wrong beer and wrong entree. When asked how long for the right one he said 20-30 minutes. She was essentially forced to eat the fried chicken. The veggie sides were unseasoned and not even warm! Boo White Oak!
Service was the only issue. Server wasn’t very attentive. Had to ask for water to be refilled and took forever to take order or follow up
Great service and food!
Just fantastic all the way around. Ended up eating there for three days straight. Great find.
Wonderful new find in downtown Atlanta - food and service, provided by LuLu was great! We’ll be back.
Scallops were great. Best Manhattan I’ve ever had.
I frequently eat out weekdays and weekends. The service was excellent!! Better thank any restaurant in Atlanta.
Was in town for a Cheersport event. Had four 7 year old's with our group and the staff went out of the way to accommodate us and the children. The food was excellent and really liked the ambiance. Our server was great and made great recommendations off the menu. The wine and bourbon list were extensive and could find something in all price ranges. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
After being seated, I was disappointed by not being greeted by our server. I watched another couple sit and begin to order with their server after us. Our wait was about 10 minutes and it was unnecessary because it wasn't overly busy... I went back to the host to question why no one had come to our table. From that point things got much better. The appetizers were ok, not impressed with the deviled eggs at all but the Beignets were excellent! Entrees were pretty good. I spent what I expected but the overall experience fell a little short.
Thank you for a fabulous Valentine's Day. I've been before, this was the first holiday special. Food was amazing, wine pairings were stellar, and the staff was attentive without being in the way.
Great area and food. No complaints other than the very old waiter made a habit of hitting on my way too young for him girlfriend and acting oblivious when confronted. Unprofessional to say the least.
The food was excellent! The service was very good. We were not rushed during any portion of our meal. The ambiance was wonderful.
Slow serve. Servers are not trained well.
We had dinner with some guests from Newnan, GA and had a great dinner at White Oak. This is a locally owned downtown ATL restaurant with great food and one of the best bars in ATL.
Excellent fried chicken! Make sure you get the pimento cheese appetizer.
I love the food at White Oak. Always fresh and tasty! Great menu.
Great food and service - beautiful decor and excellent menu selection
Great space and super nice and professional server, but the food was really not so great. Good for drinks though.
Spent 5 nights in Atlanta. Ate out every night in upscale restaurants. White Oak was the best place we ate. Service was amazing, food fabulous, noise level was great. Only place we ate where we could hear each other talk.
May have been the influx of customers but serving staff times were slower than normal
Food was very good. Service was a bit slow for a Sunday night. But overall very good experience
I dined at this incredible restaurant with my daughter on Friday night. The food was so extraordinary that we returned on Saturday night for an another amazing meal. We enjoyed the food and the gracious and kind service. Am absolute treasure. I cannot wait to return to Atlanta to dine here again.
Great food! Service was good in the beginning, but a bit slow in the end. My father ordered coffee and it took a very long time to get it... Nice design of restaurant (and restrooms). Price level was okay. They do not have any kids menue, unfortunately...
We were there to try out the food and service for a Dress Rehearsal Dinner. They were awesome. Marshina and Cameron are awesome. Great suggestions for food and incredible service.
It took us forever to get our appetizers! Waiter and Mgr. apologized for the “back up in the kitchen.” We had to ask for bread because we were into our second cocktail and needed food, which they brought. We finally got our appetizers (which they did comp) and then our meals. Scallops and Red Fish were delicious, which 3 of us ordered, but the hash brown potatoes were cold and hard. They brought us more but not until we were almost done with scallops. Disappointed with the experience because we had to wait so long although food was very good when we eventually ate.
The staff seemed overwhelmed. Food was basically a small plated portion of average food. Very loud. Basically it’s a bar in a busy downtown.
