White Chocolate Grill - Scottsdale Ratings and Reviews
We often have a last minute dinner at White Chocolate Grill. It is nearby and the food is always good. The wait staff are friendly and attentive and the restaurant has a nice ambience. Our only problem is that it is too popular and it can be hard to find a spontaneous table- That's when we use Open Table.
I really love this restaurant and was willing to go way out of my way to visit there on my most recent trip to Phoenix. My favorite dish is the Israeli couscous. The white chocolate raspberry cheesecake is incredible, too! Be sure to make a reservation way ahead of time.
I've been here a few times but this experience let me down. I had friends in town staying at the Fairmont so it was a close option for them. The server was nice and seemed very friendly but was way too attentive. We sat down and when he asked for our drink order, we said we needed some time. He came back literally 2 min later, when we still weren't ready. I don't like that.
The food wasn't its best either. Both of my friends filets were very over done. My fish lacked flavor or any sauce. My boyfriend did love his prime rib though, as usual.
I came back to celebrate another birthday and all the server said was, "we can put a candle in a dessert if he orders one. But we don't sing". He didn't awknowledge the person at all when he sat down, and it was otherwise overlooked.
I'm disappointed with this experience and don't think I'll be returning.
We were seated in the Bar. We experienced a high noise level. To carry on a business conversation was near impossible. I ordered the Chopped caesar salad, I could hardly find the chopped grilled chicken. The salad was sadly uninspired. The dressing appeared to be canned or bottled. I left at least half the salad. I ordered coffee, it was served cold and on tasting it, I thought is was also stall.
Went for lunch to celebrate an employee retirement. Lunch was fabulous! Appetizers and meal each came out at the right time, allowing us time to eat and chat and not rushing us. Waiter was very prompt and attentive and answered all of our foodie questions. We have used WCG as our go-to place for celebration and holiday luncheons for work and will continue to do so. Thank you for having such dependable service and food!
The food and the service were very good. We were seated on the indoor patio and the music speaker was very loud and made it difficult to talk with our friends. We tried to get the attention of a waiter or waitress to request that it be turned down. Finally, someone else must have found someone to do it, so we were able to eat and talk comfortably.
The food was great, the service was not, waiters were throwing plates around without cleaning the table before, they ended Up holding the appetizer plates so they could place our dinner plates, even though we hadn't finished our salads and appetizers. Service needs big time improvement.
I have been to White Chocolate Grill before and it is never disappointing. This time I made a reservation for 2 of my best friends and I. I was easily able to make a 6pm reservation on Open Table and the hostess sat us right away. The food was wonderful, our waitress was attentive and it was an intimate setting to catch up with good friends.
Service much too rushed and annoying the way they keep circling the tables. At least 4-5. It's not being effocient; it's disturbing. Intry giving this place a chance once a year and that's always my same feeling. The gin soup is still amazing but the service still borderline snobby and intrusive.
Our server made our night a memorable wedding anniversary. She checked on us often but not too much. We had the crab cake and scallops and they were perfect. The restaurant was not too loud. We had the white chocolate brownie for two and it was excellent. We would love to come back here on our next visit.
