White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake
French White Chocolate Bread Pudding
Food was deliscious. We enjoyed spinach artichoke dip to start. Each entree was good. We shared bread pudding. Yum. Service was very good. We had a reservation but still had to wait. We would call the noise level a bit loud rather than energetic. All in all though, a very good visit and plan to return.
Good was decent- service a bit slow
Amazing food. The tomato gin soup was so different and rich flavored. The jambalaya was so authentic I felt I was on bourbon st., New Orleans. So delicious and loaded with perfectly blackened shrimp.
Normally we really like this restaurant, but this time had to send steak back twice because ordered medium which came out rare then after returned it came back medium rare. The service was very good and the restaurant did the right thing to compensate the meal.
Love this place! Good is amazing, never been disappointed!
We went for restaurant week. The food was great, the service was fast and the ambiance was lively. Over all a solid place I’d recommend.
Maybe it was an off night - but we were a party of 4 & none of our meals were great. Not quite bad enough to send back - but certainly nothing to rave about. The crab cakes weren’t cooked through, my salmon was a little overdone & one of the entrees came sans the requested mashed potato side. I used to LOVE that restaurant. It was sad to have such a disappointing experience.
We had a reservation, and were there a few minutes early but did not have to wait to be brought to the table.
We were not given the menu for restaurant week until we asked for it, only given the regular menu.
The noise level was very loud even though we were outside as there was a table of about 20 people near us and eventually there would be 2 more tables sat near us with 10 + people.
It was very obvious that our table and the only other small table in the outside area were more of an afterthought. The other table was directly in the middle of the 3 large ones! We were in the corner.
It took a very long time for the waiter to get our order. The waiter never brought the water I requested until we asked again.
The appetizer was brought quickly and very good, artichoke and spinach dip. When the salads were brought and the waiter reached his arm right across my face to serve my husband instead of walking around the table which there was plenty of room to do. My salad was soaked in dressing it was not quite edible. The other salad was fine it was a different kind.
It was quite a while for the main course.
We both got a salmon, but different kinds. Mine was just ok. Nothing special. Same for my husband. Neither of us were like this is fantastic! Meh
I asked one of the waiters for more hot tea, he never brought it. We got our desserts to go, as we did not want to be there any longer. Again meh.
Definitely no social distancing and no mask precautions with the staff either.
I wouldn't go back, meh food, waiters reaching arms across your food to serve another, forgetting to bring things, very loud. Nothing special
Consistently excellent food, perfect for a high quality but casual meal. The fish special was delicious! And the parmesan crusted steak was fantastic. Great place to celebrate a friend's birthday
One of our favs
Service was good. The patio was hideous: very drab.
The barbecue combo was nowhere near the quality that I normally expect from WCG. That said, I daydream about the couscous.
Excellent food and outstanding customer service. One of our appetizers was a little slow coming out so the manager proactively came to our table, apologized and comped the order. Our waitress Kate or Katie, was consistently checking on us and provided us with excellent suggestions for food and drink selections. Many of the sides and appetizers have unique homemade recipes and all are delicious. Two dip appetizer is a tomato soup were both examples of this. Desserts were excellent as well. Brownie with white chocolate shavings was superb.
We enjoyed a delightful Restaurant Week dinner. From appetizer to dessert, the meal was outstanding. My sea bass, which was served on top of sticky rice and in a ginger broth, was to die for. And I notice their regular menu was packed with many delicious choices--looks like there's something for everyone's taste.
My "chocolate souffle cake" was served warm and was literally melt-in-your-mouth delectable. (Even my husband, who is not typically a dessert lover, thought it was great.)
Our server (I think his name is Josh) was welcoming and attentive while not being overbearing--which made for excellent service.
Service was fine, once we were seated. We checked in and waited for our table, which apparently was given to someone else in error. It all worked out though.
This was my second visit there. Staff is accommodating and friendly.
Menu has good options of steaks and seafood.
Food as amazing.
happy to have it return to restauran t week we go twice a year great portions had the spinish dip fresh and chips crispy had the caesar salad fresh had the bass and the chicken/rib combo enough that took home for another meal had the white chocolate and the chocolates deserrts yummy waiter and all wait staff right on the mark with everything
Restaurant week. Menu choices were many, food excellent, wonderful waiter, pretty place.
Waiter was great! Great service, but not intrusive. Very polite.
Great service & very good food!
Overal, this restaurant is average at best, and not a good “special occasion” experience.
Best: Our server was friendly, helpful and engaging.
Average: While the four courses we ordered tasted good, presentation was sloppy and should have been caught by the expediter in the kitchen before sent to our table. In addition, timing between our salad course and entrees was rushed. We only had time to eat half our salad before our prime rib arrived. At least we were able to finish our entrees before dessert was presented!
Poor: The serve who presented our dessert (not our main server) had no personality and spoke mechanically.
This was our first visit since we’re new to the area. With so many options around Kierland Commons, I can’t imagine retuning.
The ribs were very good. My wife ordered the Sea Bass special and it was too salty. It was immediately replaced with the Crab Cakes. They were pre-pared and just OK.
Loved being at w.C. Once more. It really is the best food best service and great ambiance. I seem to wind up there once a week!
I made reservations at White Chocolate one week in advance for a lady friend and myself. It was her birthday. We arrived at 11:30 (our reservation time). The hostess asked if we'd like to sit in the bar. We said no. So she looked again at her and schedule and directed us to a table near the bar, but not a good table. Everybody would be walking by. My friend chose another table nearby and asked if we could sit there. The server said, "certainly". My friend and I cannot understand why we would be offered a seat in the bar and when that was unacceptable, why we were seated at a bad table when we made the reservation a week in advance and when we arrived there were very few customers in the restaurant. It seems it happens a lot to single women. Everything after that was great, except the food arrived lukewarm. White Chocolate Grill is always one of my husband's favorites. Occasionally, we encouunter lukewarm food, but overall it's always quite wonderful.
This was our first time there and we will definitely go back. The food was delicious and our server Cody was great.
4 of us went for AZ Restaurant Week special. Food was great! Portion sizes were huge. Service was a tad slow ( but hey, that’s the Pandemic Effect, right?). Ordered the SeaBass and ended up sending it back as it was way over cooked. Decided to go with Prime Rib instead and was glad I switched - end cut was juicy and very tasty. Chocolate soufflé was a delicious way to end the meal.
Excellent food, service, and facilities
We visited this restaurant as part of Arizona Restaurant Week. The ambiance was cozy, the food was delicious, the portions were more than ample, and the service was stellar. We ordered the AZ Egg Rolls, Field Greens Salad, Salmon New Orleans and BBQ Ribs & Rotisserie Chicken, and the White Chocolate Brownie & Chocolate Soufflé Cake. Highly recommended!
Excellent service and the food was great!
Always great to have dinner here! Great service and food!
Service was excellent. Nick was fast and friendly. Food was very good.
Good Steak Cobb salad, good service. Extensive menu, something for everyone.
Always great! Service and food!
Beautiful restaurant and a great menu. I love the Brussel sprouts. It is actually a salad of shaved Brussels with almonds and a light dressing. My friend needs to eat gluten free and they did have a special menu. The food and service was outstanding. When we visit from California we always eat here.
Great as usual
Took over 10 minutes to get drink order then another 10 for drinks. Dessert showed up before coffee. Server was friendly but a lot of waiting to long between courses.
We had a great time for my birthday! From the food to the service everything was spot on. Thank you for making my day so special.
Great meal as always. The reason this is our favorite nearby restaurant.
We had a nice time.
