We expected to have a wait for our food but not at all. Service was great and attentive. Best French dip I’ve had in a long time!!
Our artichoke was very under cooked, waiter took it off the bill.
Service was good, food was good.
We were just very perplexed why our waiter had the bus boy bring us our check and not come over and thank us or say good night?🤷🏻♀️
Sultan is a great server…good service, attitude and personality.
We had the blackened sea bass and it was excellent. Our table was on the patio which was very pleasant, although there was some traffic noise from busy Scottsdale Road. The service was a bit slow but the servers were friendly and helpful.
This is probably our fourth time at White Chocolate Grill. It is extremely popular so you have that issue to deal with regarding four person max on reservations through OpenTable etc. They sat us in the bar which is a nice, the only issue is the service was not up to par. Our server kept trying to upsell us or as he called it “suggestive selling“ however when they keep doing it after you tell them that you know they are, it gets quite irritating after a while. We also asked for water three times and finally got it after we were nearly 2/3 done with our entrées. The prices are what you would expect for a fairly affluent area. The rotisserie chicken was probably the best value on the entire menu. My better half got the combo ribs and rotisserie chicken and said it was really very tasty and fresh. I ordered the spicy salmon with crab and blackened shrimp and unfortunately it was way over cooked. Since we were already having issues with the server and they are so busy on a Friday night I didn’t bother to say anything to anyone. The shrimp were almost like little rocks and the salmon was dry which is almost impossible to do to salmon since has a lot of oil. In total I think I saw three little bits of crab in the sauce, the description is not very accurate. The flavor was good though. The shaved brussels sprouts side was tasty but they need to serve this dish on a much smaller plate (this plate was a gigantic oval) because it looked ridiculous - it was not even half full and this is not a super hugh priced, fine dining location where you’re looking for artistic renditions of tiny portions of food on a plate. Overall I think the place is slightly overrated. Probably the best thing to do is to avoid coming here on Friday or Saturday nights here when it is madness. We had lunch here during the week and that’s a much better time try it.
Perfect in every way!!! It is our favorite place.
The service was top notch. Our waiter Kai checked in with us several times to make sure the food was to our liking and our water glasses were always full. The food was delicious…. Good portions and presentation. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food. As for the ambiance, it is an elegant yet casual feel. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Our last night on vacation. Good spot with lots of choices.
This restaurant s a jewel. We passed by for years as we thought is was a dessert location. Forever grateful to the friends that recommended it. Delicious food, fresh, hot food hot, cold food served on icy cold plates. Fall off the bone Ribs, terrific Chicken and the salads are meals for two. Do not miss the WCG salad, fantastic. Servers are knowledgeable and so friendly and you are immediately brought a black napkin by the hostess without asking if you are wearing dark pants or dress. Lunch or dinner, it’s a winner.
Xlnt bar area and the Happy Hour menu is very nice. Will , Suzy and Kayla are great bartenders and very attentive. Love this place! PS….. the deserts are unbelievable!
Wonderful meal...must try the carrots...absolutely delicuous
Everything great, but music & tv’s in bar are way too loud to have a pleasurable conversation with friends at table.
Went to White Chocolate Grill for happy hour . Drinks were outstanding. The wedge Salad was fresh and Crispy. The white chocolate bread pudding was to die for. Chandler was our server . He was attentive and gave us A+ service . Would return again. We are visitors to Scottsdale and would highly recommend White Chocolate Grill.
It's fun fine dining at its best Luxurious delicious and the price you can't beat
They have a gluten-free menu however I think there was definitely an issue . After eating a filet salad , I felt awful all evening . The noise level was loud.
The atmosphere was loud .
Service was great .
No good . Especially for an out of towner. But when I come back to the area I know where I should not eat .
Also the artichoke was not even able to be eaten . It looked great but after we ate what we could we felt hunger .
Food and service was good as always, but this is the second time I've been seated near the kitchen, which leads to a ton of background noise. I couldn't hear my group talking without leaning in close.
All of the food was delicious as always. They were in the middle of shift change so the service was off for a bit but then got back on track with the new waiter. I love this restaurant and will continue to go back!
Salads were “over dressed”
Server approached table talking and interrupting rather than approaching and entering conversation as we noticed him
Reserved an outside table and when we arrived they said they didn’t have anything available outside. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
My ahi tuna salad was very good, although there was a tad too much dressing. My husband had the French dip and said it was average, and the au jus was cold and unappetizing. The noise level was high. Hard to carry on a conversation. And there was a waiting area just on the other side of our table where people sat and peered over our table and talked loudly. Our server was good and attentive.
I am a regular at WCG and there are several reasons. Wait staff is #1. Food #2, but I want everyone to know that it is excellent. People are #1 in my book. You need reservations on the busy days which I observe to be Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Sunday is also busy in SNOWBIRD season. Open Table is my go to reservation platform and I love it. If you like good cocktails, this is also a big plus. ENJOY!
always enjoy taking new friends and family to the WCG. Had good dinner and excellent service. Will be back
Food was great. The process for using a gift card WITH paying with credit card took longer because the waiter said that he had to go in the back to cash out the gift card and then he could come back and we could determine each of us owed using a credit card. But it took him a long time to get back to the table with our bill. I think he forgot about getting us our bill. We had to flag him down because we were going to a movie and needed to go.
Incredible food. Place was loud and service was a tad bit slow, but this was due to the fact that the restaurant was at capacity. I will definitely plan to return!
Great experience and our server Joe was AMAZING!
As always, our meal was excellent. I have never had a bad meal here. I typically get the special when it is a fish dish and I have never been disappointed. The food is always cooked perfectly. The cocktails are always great. I highly recommend the frisky whiskey for anyone who likes a sweeter drink.
The on line menu showed they still had Chicken Maderia however it is no longer available. Limits type of chicken dishes. Also butterflied the filet because they were busy. It ended up being a little dry and not as good as usual. Key lime pie was very good.Overall still enjoy the restaurant and will return...
White Chocolate Grill is always good. Was very busy but it was a Saturday evening. Noise level was elevated. Food was delicious.
Awesome service, loved being able to sit in a booth, great food and drinks. Thank you so much.
Soup came cold
Ahi tuna was overcooked and brown. Waiter had to find tuna that was rare. Salad drenched in salad dressing.
Egg rolls were soggy, cold and terrible.
Waiter was great
Our visit started pleasantly enough with a quick drink order and timely attention by our server. But then it seemed like a long time before we saw him again. He did finally come back and took our order, but then it was at least 20 minutes before our food arrived. And it was cold. All cold. Ugh. We returned the dishes and waited for them to either be reheated or re-prepared. The manager came over and apologized as she delivered our hot food. It tasted good. Instead of offering to comp one of our meals they offered us a single free dessert. Eh, not really a great approach in my opinion but it was something. So we sat and waited after we’d eaten for our server to take our desert order. We asked for the apple pie. He didn’t tell us it was going to be another 10 minutes because they bake it after it’s ordered, so we were left to wonder if it was ever going to show up. Finally we saw the manager and asked about it and she again apologized for the delay. When it arrived it was indeed hot and delicious. And free. It just seemed like their good intentions weren’t enough to overcome the so-so experience.
Such a wonderful service! Wonderful value for the food and atmosphere also!
Restaurant was very busy, yet wait staff made you feel like you were the most important customer there. Very friendly and efficient. For this type of restaurant, prices were reasonable.
They wanted to seat us right next to where the servers go into the kitchen to pick up orders. We asked for a different table, and they accommodated. Is, but it was still rather noisy. Our server was excellent.
A very enjoyable dinner. Delicious food and fantastic service. We will definitely be going back again.
Good time with friends.
The food was amazing! The cinnamon twist martini was the best as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Great food and always the best service! Our sever Joe was awesome!!
From the food to the excellent service everything was great.
The food was amazing. This place never disappoints. Nathan and Val were great and took care of every need our group had.
