White Chocolate Grill - Park Meadows Ratings and Reviews
These people go above and beyond to make things right. When our lunch took extra-long to arrive we didn't need to complain. They proactively recognized an unacceptable delay and let us know they were taking care of our check. Attentive service, food that was worth waiting for, and to-die-for dessert. We'll be back!
I've been to the White Chocolate Grill in P.M many times & it's always been a little "loud", but we've always liked the food. However this time we were taking family from San Francisco out to dinner & wanted to impress. My aunt ordered wine and we were all taken-aback when some waitress literally plonked down the glass in front of her and ran off, didn't even ask her to taste it or pour it in front of her or anything (rude!) The gin soup was wonderful as always but waiter talked us out of sharing & we regretted that. It's too much along with a meal. My aunt ordered their blackened Mahi Mahi & was very disappointed!!! Mentioned it to the waiter (only the outside is supposed to be blackened) & he just nodded but made no apologies. Not good!!!
we both had the specials and loved the Steelhead filet and the stuffed shrimp - some of the best food we have had out this year - but the sides were nondescript and mediocre - took away from greatness of each dish. would have given them 5 stars otherwise. Service and atmosphere were great!
Love the restaurant and the food and service were excellent. The only thing that I did not enjoy was the location of our table...last booth in the back in front of the glass windows where the entire wait staff congregates to enter orders, etc. Very noisy and distracting.
Located next to American Girl doll store, the restaurant treats girls with their dollies extra special by providing a baby doll booster seat so the doll can join in on all the action. Food was good - although not as good as we've had in the past. Our server was very good but slow at times - the restaurant was full when we were there.
From the beginning of service, our waiter just gave me a bad vibe. I felt uncomfortable with him around and felt like I had to start the conversation with him. The prices were also a little bit harsh but then again I am only a teenager making minimum wage but it would be nice to have a wider variety of food with a decent price everyone can enjoy.
We enjoyed our visit though it was a bit pricey. Serving portions were generous and absolutely delicious. Make sure you understand that the date menu price quoted is per person and not a couple. Otherwise, you will have real sticker shock! A bit noisy to carry on a conversation but not much can be done about that with a very popular restaurant. Best service in town.
Food quality was mixed. Daughter had the ribs which were very good. I had parmesan crusted filet, which was very small (estimate about 3 oz. and extremely overcooked. Not a good value on steak at $27. Artichoke appetizer was decent. Does have a very nice selection of bourbon's. White chocolatae brownie was also very tasty and more than enough for 4 people to share.
We went to the White Chocolate because they feature a gluten free menu (thanks!) and we had mixed results. The waitress was sweet, attentive, and responsive, she gets four stars. We found some flavors that were foodie-quality, including the tomato soup with gin (!) which was out of this world, and the glazed carrots which rivaled veggies I have had a places like Emeril's in New Orleans. I was intrigued by the idea of their balsamic rib eye steak. The flavor of the steak was great, the meat was ordered medium rare but was overcooked & very poor quality for the price. Full of gristle and tough to chew. My wife had the trout and enjoyed it, but she said it in no way compared to the fish at our favorite (and cheaper) Denver bistro, 730 South.
The food and service were outstanding. However, when I made the researvation, I requested a patio table. When we arrived, we were told there were no patio tables available. We were also told that we could not order happy hour drinks since we were not sitting in the happy hour section, but we did request the patio. It was very disappointing and unfriendly to have special sections for happy hour. The entire restaurant should receive the same opportunities for specials.
I have attended this restaurant several times before and I just absolutely love the food. I always get the same thing every time I go and I am always just amazed at how delicious it always tastes. The environment is beautiful and romantic and the people are friendly, the hostesses are always bubbly and willing to help. And the prices are very reasonable for how yummy everything tastes. I would highly recommend this place for their food and prices and ambiance to anyone who is looking for a new place to eat.
The salads at this restaurant are wonderful. There were 3 of us and we all tried different salads and couldn't stop talking about it. The Filet Mingon salad was absolutely incredible. Our waiter couldn't have been nicer and everyone was on the ball. Our waters were always filled and our food was prompt. Highly recommended
This was our first time here and we went for lunch on a holiday. It was nice that they were open! the ahi tuna burger was pretty good -my husband liked it a lot and I thought it was OK. They have a great interesting salad list and the cheesecake dessert was excellent-our table of four split the one order four ways. Great cocktail list-the SpikeArnold Palmer was very good as were the mojitos.
