Our daughter had an excellent report card. Rewarding her with a Special dinner at her favorite place.
We waited 13 minutes before someone came up and offered us water ( wasn’t our waitress). When our waitress showed up she didn’t apologized for almost 18 minute wait. Was very poor service on her part. Food was delicious
Had my son's birthday dinner this pasted Sunday and the food and services was outstanding! we will be having dinner at White Chocolate Grill more often!
Can’t say enough good thing’s. We drove here from Huntley. It’s just that good.
Made a reservation for 5 @ 8:00 on a Saturday- didn’t get seated until about 8:45. Wasn’t a huge deal, but seemed a bit excessive. However we were given a table that seemed to just be pushed into the front of the room, you couldn’t even move without hitting the table behind, and we were freezing, every time someone walked in you were blasted with cold air, due to the table sticking 1/4 out into the main walkway.
We were given free appetizers for the wait, however a better placed table would have been preferred.
Overall, the food was okay, based on this experience, I’d probably only go back if I didn’t have plans to do anything after, in fear of waiting again.
The hostess was rude. We had reservations and still waited over 15 minutes.
Always excellent dining at White Chocolate Grill- the food is exquisite and the service impeccable. Absolutely one of our “go-to’s” for special occasions. Highly recommended!
It was exceptional as always! I took my wife there for her birthday, and she loved it!
It was a great dinner, been there before. As always a great please, love the ambiance, peppy servers and excellent food.
The food and service were very good. They had tasty options in fish for someone in our party who needs the high protein of meat, but will only eat fish (not shellfish, chicken, or red meat.) In addition, (for someone else in our party) the gluten free menu had more options than most restaurants, and they remembered to automatically bring it to us because I had asked while making the reservation. Our server was very knowledgable about gluten free practice, and helpful in getting information whether we could get one of the specials made in a gluten safe way. The (non-white) chocolate soufflé cake is incredible (and also gluten free.)
The only thing I didn't like was small but worth mentioning, IMO. A young man bussing tables interrupted us, to ask if he could remove my plate (which still had a small but significant bit of food on it.) At this price point, I would expect plates to be left alone unless they are obviously pushed out of the way, or maybe to be asked if it looked like everyone at the table was finished, and conversation was slowing down. (In our case, the plate was directly in front of me, as I was still eating, no one else was even half finished, and we were in the middle of conversation.)
Our server was so friendly and offered great suggestions on the menu! She thanked us for braving the weather and coming out. It was snowing pretty good. I wish I could remember her name but she was pumped because she just got new tires on her car. I had the ribs and my girlfriend had the rotisserie chicken with the bacon hash. Both meals were fantastic and the white brownie was so good! We will definitely be back because there were many other things we wanted to try and the service was top notch!
Been there many times before. Normally good service. Fist they told us we didn’t have a reservation, then finally found it. Even though it was a slow night they ran out of the special before 7pm, had to remind the waitress for part of our order, then never received our cocktail that was ordered. Overall poor service. Even when my wife call and told the hostess, no apology, just a confirmation that we were never charged for the cocktail.
Food and service were great! However, I am very disappointed that this restaurant apparently told Open Table that we did not show up for our reservation. After our visit, I received an email from Open Table asking why we did not show up for our reservation. I provided Open Table with the name of the server, the table number and the ticket number from the receipt to prove to them that we did, in fact, show up for our reservation.
Great food and service. I especially love their lemon drop martini and all their desserts.
Everything was excellent. Loved the filet and the service was great.
The gold standard. Outstanding selections, great staff
The acoustics are very bad there. The people I was with had a hard time hearing anyway and it was very very loud.
It was my daughter bday, no complimentary bday dessert, song just a candle
I saw bread on another and asked can we have bread too? I was told it's upon request BS
Our waitress was always MIA, all them look like so I called calling the wrong one over
The restaurant is too darn dim ,couldn't see much
My daughter was the only one happy with her Salmon dish and her white chocolate cheesecake
Food was sent back twice and wasnt even taken off the bill. Manager seemed clueless what was his restaurant cooked with. Fatty filets and overpriced sides
Everything was great from the service to the food to the drinks! We went for my moms birthday and she wasn’t disappointed!
As a couple who have been dining at White Chocolate since it's opening on a regular basis, we find the place is deteriorating each month.
The food is becoming boring with the specials always being steelhead or some other fish, the servers are rushed, drinks are not made as well as they used to be and prices have gone up considerably.
I think that if White Chocolate is going to survive they are going to have to change up the menu items, better train the servers, hire "older" than 21 year old managers and hire better expeditors for the kitchen.
Went for our Wedding Anniversary Celebration of 38 years. Tried to call to inform WCG we’d be late for our Resvtns bc I missed their call for same reason .... They never answered their phone, so I just made Online Resvtns - was glad we went to WCG for our Special Occasion!! Our waitress, Ally, was very pleasant!! Only problem was Handicap Parking was in back furthest from Door to get into WCG & it pouring rain out!! I would suggest having closer Handicap Parking OR have a Back Entrance for Guests that need to park in that area.
One of our go to places
I enjoy going to your restaurant for great food and conversation. My shrimp salad was delicious. I'll be back in the near future!
Food was excellent, always a fan of their ahi tuna. Actually tried dessert this time and the bread pudding was great though my wife and I couldn’t quite finish it.
Great place for the (adult) kids and I to meet and have dinner. The gluten free dessert was shared among 3 of us and completely amazing. Thanks for a great meal!
I have been here several times and made the trip up from Central IL to treat my daughter for her 14th birthday dinner. She loves their Ribeye steak dinner. This was the first time her steak came out medium after ordering medium rare but it was still very tender so we did not need to send back. Our waitress went out of her way to be extra attentive for it being a birthday dinner. Their dinner rolls are heavenly but are on request only. Definitely worth the wait for those if you can indulge. We will be back again.
This is my third visit to White Chocolate, it never disappoints. If I lived closer I would be a frequent visitor. Can't wait until my next visit. Service was good!
Great food, great place, great value.
Our server, Becky, was outstanding. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and offered recommendations about the menu that helped me in selecting my dinner. We had a wonderful time. The restaurant was beautiful and everything we ordered was delicious. The portions were quite large for a place like this and transferring our martinis into newly-frosted glasses throughout our meal to keep them cold was such a classy added touch. I would definitely recommend this place!
I liked the way you handled the very busy crowd on New Years Eve. The table was ready within 5 minutes of the time of our reservation. We were immediately greeted by someone to take our drink order (not our waiter) that sped up the process to get a beverage. Our waiter, Joshua, did an excellent job and was very customer focused. In addition, we were able to pay our bill very quickly because someone other than Joshua was accepting the credit card. It was a very organized and relaxing dinner based upon the performance of your personnel.
Food was great, service was even better. We were sat right away and the server was prompt with everything. Best restaurant service we have had in a long time.
We have gone to the White Chocolate Grill at least 10 times and it’s always been excellent - service, food and especially the White Chocolate Brownie.
While on this last visit the service and dinner was again excellent (the bourbon mushroom soup was awesome and our waitress also excellent) however we a little disappointed in our White Chocolate Brownie. The brownie itself was hard and it’s usually soft and chewy.
In fairness we did mention it to our waitress and she did offer to replace it but we had already ate half of it and told her we d just finish this one.
I mentioned thus only because this is one item that we look forward to getting when we go and in our opinion a signature item there. I’m sure it was an isolated thing and certainly won’t stop us from going there or getting it again.
One of our favorite restaurants !
New Years dinner.
Rotisseie chicken was dry may have been from night before it was inly 12 pm
Waiter was vety attentive
This place is great. The food is wonderful and there is a variety of choices to meet everyone's desire. One of the dishes I thought was particularly nice was the New York strip. It had zero fat, was pre-sliced and cooked to perfection. It was very tasty. Highly recommended.
Food and drinks used to be so good here but the past 3x we've been there it's been not so great. Service is still on point but the food is just not good anymore...we won't be back
The menu is upscale suburban pub food with pretentious delusions. It's less of a restaurant than a nice saloon - though that's not intrinsically a bad thing. The menu is gal-friendly, the wine list is bad and the service is attentive and kind. Tab for 2 was $140, including wine and gratuity - not a value proposition.
Was good tho the server mess up our Deseret order
