My friend and I met on a Sunday. Food was good. Service was a little lacking. We had to ask waiter for plates for appetizer, remind him of our drinks, etc. Lots of people and music was loud so had a hard time chatting at times.
Birthday weekend
Loved it! Definitely plan to go back! Food was delicious.
Excellent farm to table menu. The service was outstanding as was the Whiskey menu.
Our second visit was just as good as the first. Really good food and service!!! There will be a third and fourth is it!!
Food was great! We had the hummus as an appetizer & I had the special, steak and shrimp. My husband had the sloppy joe that is meatless and thought it was great! We had Kennedy as our waitress, she is awesome!! Had her on a prior visit too!
Service was great, and food really good! Had Salmon and Yard bird, with deviled eggs, drinks and shared a piece of whiskey cake! This is the 6th consecutive year to celebrate my wife’s birthday at Whiskey Cake!!
Service was outstanding!! Food was very good. Dessert was outstandingly sinful! The yummiest dessert ever. Would recommend.
When we showed up they were closed. I’m not a restaurant owner or claim to be a genius but I think I have an understanding how a reservation works. Normally the restaurant needs to be open during the time of your reservation. We live 45 minutes away. A heads up would have been appreciated.
Our server Austin was amazing and very knowledgable. Food was great. Pink drink was awesome. I will definitely be going back.
The Charcuterie board is always awesome, definitely recommend.
Dinner with friends for Valentines Day. The food was excellent and Cameron was very helpful and attentive to our table. As always the whiskey cake was outstanding!
Amazing experience for my wife’s birthday and Valentine’s Day. Austin our server was the best! Food was unbelievable and don’t leave without trying the whiskey cake!
It was our 1st of many to come. Me and my husband had an early Valentine's Day dinner because of the weather. It was worth the body. Thanks
Everything was great. The only thing that wasn’t great was an $11 cocktail that was 90% ice.
Bacon and Jalapeno Drop Biscuits are Fantastic...great flavor plus, you must try the deviled eggs...these are not your mother's or your grandmother's deviled eggs. Next, the French Toast Monte Cristo...omg...huge portion of French Toast with cheese and pit ham. Took half home and had breakfast all over again.
Completely underwhelmed on this particular evening. Food wise. If you’re going to offer up Ribeyes at such a high price, they better be amazing in my opinion. Our service was fantastic as usual.
Good food and great service.
The ambiance was great, we loved it from the moment we entered the building.
The staff was wonderful and helpful.
The apps and entrees were just ok, nothing fantastic. Drinks were great. The Whiskey Cake was to die for! Honestly that was the saving grace! I would return just for that dessert!!
Chicken & Waffles deserve a statue i the hall of fame
We were super impressed with the menu and food. The bar was great and the drinks were spot on. We were also super impressed with the Covid precautions that are in place at this location.
The service was fantastic! The food was fresh and delicious!
LOVE going there! LOVE the food! SO GOOD! Every time I get something different and I'm never disappointed
Celebrating my birthday. There was a big party that came in (22 people) so it was a little concerning being that close to a big group. Luckily we were finishing up.
Everything was outstanding, My wife and I went here for our 4th wedding anniversary. It was the best restaurant we have been too in Oklahoma! Thank you for your exceptional service and amazing food!
Service was impeccable and food was delicious. Will definitely go back.
Went on Wednesday night. Glad we made reservations as there was a wait for walk in. Server was excellent and food was outstanding!
Love Whiskey Cake! It’s our go to when we come to OKC!
Great service, food and choices! Enjoyed the brunch specials!
Pork, grits and over easy egg for brunch hit the spot. Everyone else had chicken and waffles. Service was awesome.
Christmas time family get together. Outstanding place to share these wonderful moments together. The service and food were outstanding. Definitely will become a holiday tradition.
This is always my go to place when someone asks “where should we go eat in OKC?”
Fantastic food and I have only had average service once in 4 years, the rest of my visits were top notch!
The food, service and drinks are first class!
Have been to WC before with no problems but this time we had a not-so-good experience. Ordered the $16 breakfast board because we have had it in the past and remembered it being really good. This is what you get for $16. One toasted English muffin, two tablespoons of pimento cheese, one tablespoon of honey, one tablespoon of jam, two deviled eggs, two pieces of cold bacon, one sausage patty, 5 tiny pickled vegetables an ounce of cheese. It looked pitiful. Very sparse on the platter and the only things we really liked were the pimento cheese and the two deviled eggs that we had to split 5 ways. The gravy had way too much herbs. Sage maybe? Or Rosemary? Didn’t like it at all and I’m a huge gravy snob. One of our party ordered the monkey bread as their meal and It took so long that every one at the table was finished before it was served. Two of us ordered medium poached eggs and they were hard boiled. Overall not a great experience. Probably would not go there for brunch again.
Great as always in every way!
I went for the bottle of George t stagg they had, a delightful pour. The incredible food was a plus!
Lots of people love this place but this is my second time here and as much as I want to love it, I don't. It's just that I don't find much to eat that I want from the menu. I know it's healthy eating but sometimes just want something not too healthy! My date and I shared the chicken melt (not sure exact name) and also the Fake Sloppy Joe (again probably not what it's called). The chicken sandwich on bread (toasted) and messy to eat. Didn't love it. Liked the fake sloppy joe much better. Whiskey Cake for dessert (it was his birthday) and it was all right - wanted more chocolate! All in all, not a bad restaurant, just doesn't happen to be my favorite. I would still recommend them because you may just love what they have. Try it.
Whiskey Cake was great as always. This is my go to place for celebrations. My turkey burger was delicious. I can tell that the turkey meat is raised locally. It doesn't have that unusual taste that the turkey meat at the grocery stores have.
The food was delicious! The waitress was lovely and knew the menu very well! Was our first time going their and we plan on going back. The drinks were very good and full of flavor. Try the jessica wabbit!
I travel the country for business and the server here would be in the top 3% that I have met in some of the nicest restaurants.
Food was great.. Drinks ..even better!
Thank you Whiskey Cake.
Good food and great service!. We will definitely return!
