Great lake setting. Innovative dishes. Super fresh ingredients. A special evening.
The music was too loud, and the manager, though friendly, could not turn it down to a level quiet enough for us. We had to talk at a near-yell to hear others at our table. We had a nice view from our table, but the "covid tent" cut circulation too well, and there was no breeze, and the day was very hot, so we weren't comfortable. I feel the management should have tried to vent the area somehow.
Great view, classy interior, and friendly service. The food here is unique. I have mixed messages if I love it or not. All the dishes were full of flavors and yummiest somehow it was not a wow for us.
Overall the evening was enjoyable.
Would be nice if there was a spicy aioli for the potatoes. Radish salad was super good, clam dish was great, bread was great.
Beautiful place right by the water and view of the city. I had a great time. Staff was friendly and the food was delicious.
Westward has always been one of our favorite spots, but unfortunately we've been pretty disappointed during our last two visits. Completely understand that Covid has complicated things, but we look forward to a refreshed menu, setting and level of service when we return later this summer.
Awesome Dining Experience from beginning to end.
Outside seating is great with beautiful views of downtown Seattle Skyline.
Our server was so friendly and encouraged our relaxed atmosphere. The food (we got the seafood tower!) was stellar and the ambience the perfect blend of rustic Northwestern and classy/chic,
My favorite restaurant in Seattle. If you go, you will no why.
Food was good, a bit overpriced. The hostess was rude and unwilling to accommodate a request to sit outside when the reservation specifically said the seating was outside. I am trying to be sympathetic due to COVID restrictions but the hostess was abrupt and unfriendly.
Very fresh and tasty seafood
We had such a wonderful night at Westward! Right away the hostess was welcoming and seated us at the perfect table with the most incredible view. Our server, Craig, was knowledgeable about the menu and just very on top of the service. The food was outstanding, would absolutely come back again!
if you make a reservation you can’t be seated outside, even if there are open tables outside. the host was condescending and kept repeating that because we made a reservation we would be seated inside despite open tables outside and we had a 2 hour time limit to eat.
Some of the best food I’ve ever had. Beautiful restaurant. Wonderful friendly staff.
Our crab rolls were under stuffed and contained no accompaniments so didn't seem to be worth $32. The undersized cocktail was $17 and we waited 10 minutes to be seated although we were on time for our reservation.
I was super excited to try the seafood tower, but found it to be a underwhelming. The halibut was exceptional. The food timing seemed a bit off too.
The oysters were delicious but pricey. Our bottle of rosé was tasty & the fritters were good. Our server Craig was terrific & attentive.
Booking a reservation was easy, and the staff were absolutely lovely. However, my biggest disappointments were in the food (either poorly seasoned or overtly salty) as well as the ventilation in the outdoor area. The tented area was extremely hot as one of the walls was preventing airflow (potentially impacting COVID transmission by virtually making an indoor space outside).
Awesome Seattle views, well spaced patio and awesome food!
We had front row seats to the beautiful view and watched the sunset over the water and the city as we talked and dined. The tent was perfect for keeping us in the shade on a hot day, yet warm and cozy as it got later in the evening.
Food was flavorful and imaginative (nettle salsa with my halibut with perfect crispy skin, radish salad with mascarpone, dates and almonds)
We had a great evening catching up in a wonderful setting
Parking is a little tricky these days with lots of RV's parked alongside the road but we still found a spot
I loved everything about Westward. Great food, amazing views, and beautiful staff! Definitely coming back.
Amazing all around. Run, don't walk! Great service, food, and an amazing view of the city right on the water's edge.
Beautiful location on the water. Outdoor only seatin gunder tents and heat lamps and amazing seafood dishes. Was a really lovely date spoty for Friday lunch.
I’ve been to Westward 3 times, the first time was absolutely phenomenal. Now they are packing in as many seats as possible on a cold patio. The oysters need to be shucked better especially at 3.50 an oyster. Nobody was excited about the food they were serving. For a place with such a great ambiance they should be curating a better experience.
Horrible service and food.
It was a wonderful experience. Our table as ready early the staff we so welcoming and knowledgeable.
Service was not friendly and each entree was overly salty.
Three « Wow’s » for the seafood tower and the asparagus Benedict at Sunday brunch. A truly lovely view of the lake. A heater over our table for the first comfortable dining experience we’ve had this post-pandemic spring. Attentive, friendly, professional service. I couldn’t recommend this establishment more highly.
Great location on the water, great for a celebratory meal or entertaining out of town guests. The menu leans predominantly seafood, but meat and vegetarian options are available. Everything was delicious, and priced as you’d expect given the location and quality ingredients. The cocktails were outstanding. The only downside was the service—our waiter was passive aggressive and borderline rude. It’s Seattle, so I don’t expect friendly service but this was the worst I’ve experienced in awhile. We were there for a celebration, and it certainly dampened the mood.
We were in town for a long weekend and this was our favorite meal by far. The food, service and setting were all outstanding. We cannot wait to go back.
The dining experience was a very pleasant surprise. Each dish was unique in presentation and taste. The staff was extremely accommodating. They were very knowledge about the wine list as well as the food. The wine was very reasonably priced as well. We were a party of 5 and we all agreed we would return. The views of the city in the distance and the water made for a visually delightful evening as well.
Relaxing, beautiful day. The food and drinks were perfect
Phenomenal & personalized service, spectacular food, and one of the best views in Seattle. A great experience & a perfect way to wow anyone!
Perfect for a date night. We sat outdoors under their heated tents. The heater kept the whole table warm the entire night in the mid 50s and rain. The string lights added to a romantic feel as we looked out to the water. Food was amazing- spot prawns, halibut, duck were our top three. Dessert would have been amazing too had we had room-
Food amazing, service great, but strict mask policy is a little excessive at this point.
It was the 3rd time I had been there, and I can’t wait to go back!
Hama Hama Clams were great! We had the small seafood tower, octopus salad, marinated mussels, and the halibut (we like to eat), and I would recommend all of them to any seafood lovers out there!
Ask to be seated outside
Great views, awesome menu and good drinks. The perfect blend for a excellent spot.
