We look forward to your visit.
This a favorite spot. Went for brunch and all of the items were very good. It was a very cold day outside, and every time the door opened, we got a blast of arctic air. If the weathet is cold, request a table in the back.
Excellent - wait staff was 5 stars and the food was delicious as always
We went for our first time for Restaurant Week. The food was all very good, but the appetizers were outstanding! We’ll be back!
What a nice place!! Hadn’t been here since it was a previous restaurant. My chef daughter and son in law recommended it to me. I was not disappointed one bit!! Nice little French bistro!! Menu was varied enough for any pocket book and great wine selection!.
The food took quite a while, but when it came it was quite delicious. Service wasn’t great, as we often went without water and why we needed. There was a party of about 8 that took our servers priority, which was too bad. I’ll still probably go back, but it was a slight disappointment.
Checking out some brunch places on a Christmas trip to visit family
Always a fantastic brunch!
The food was creative and well prepared as always. Nice twist on some dishes like the French onion soup and French Lasagna. Variety of flavors and textures of food. Always a great moment or two from the food.
Wonderful food and the service was fantastic. We will be back for sure!
The food was excellent! It was the Saturday night before Christmas, so the restaurant was very busy. Service was a bit slow. Our table was next to a larger work party, so it was very loud.
Great brunch menu selection, including cocktails! Service was very good. Would highly recomme d.
This place is simply fantastic. Do not miss the kefta skewers.
I felt like I was in France for a few minutes!! Lorenzo was great. Very helpful. Those apple fritters were fantastic with your coffee.
Visiting KC - found this place online - easy parking - lucky - and a real treat.
We’re long-time fans, and this spot keeps improving. The recent Blanquette de veau special was outstanding, and our server (Kevin) was charming and knowledgeable and from Lyon, so what more could you want?
Amazing food, great service and a great vibe. One of my favorite places for brunch!
The veal stew was outstanding and unique with the emulsion employed for the sauce and the crab and shrimp cake was very good, although much more shrimp than crab, making it more of a shrimp cake. The service and wine choices were very good. A very nice place to eat before a show.
Friends Dinner for steak night!! It was awesome we love this place.
what a wonderful gem. so many restaurants are not french and the ones that are you have to get way dressed up for or need to spend $100+. You can certainly do that here but WCB is really down to earth...its like being in Paris - without the yellow vests, high taxes, crowded subways, and riots.
Very good time. It wasnt as packed as it's been in the past which was a good thing, food was quick and delicious. Server was attentive and VERY prompt with coffee but had to be asked for water. Had a relaxing time and would highly recommend.
Delicious food and drinks! Excellent service! We’ll be back!
The food quality is top shelf and on par with what you would find in Paris.
The wife and I enjoyed an excellent brunch here last weekend. The food is exceptional, and the service was great. We recommend making a reservation for brunch, as the place fills up quickly, surely a testament to the experience.
Excellent first experience. Service was great and food was delicious! Prices within reason.
Had been meaning to eat here for months. So glad we finally did! Yummy Brunch, great service. Will be back!
First time at Westport cafe. Can say it is now one of my favorite restaurants in Kansas City. The lamb chops and diver scallops were amazing. Went there for my girlfriends birthday. We will for sure be back.
My favorite part were the server's vivid descriptions of the dishes! Everything was excellent as always, and their happy hour deals are great.
Great service, food, and drinks. Love this place! Tried the new lamb Kafka which was awesome.
One of my favorite restaurants in KC. Food is delicious and cocktails are great! Great value!
Black truffle risotto was amazing as well as the squash soup.
Wonderful experience at this french cafe! We loved the food & wine!
My wife and I dined on a Friday night after a movie at the Tivoli. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. We ordered a beet salad with goat cheese, which was fresh and tasty. We couldn’t decide on which of two bottles of wine, so our server offered to let us taste both, which was appreciated. My wife had the scallops with black truffle risotto, which were cooked perfectly. I ordered the lamb chops, served with a bordelaise sauce, minted pea purée and gnocchi. Delicious.
WCB has long been a favorite of ours. The atmosphere is terrific and the menu - regularly updated - is always excellent. I almost always get the salmon, a carafe of Little James Basket and, if I've left room, the bread pudding. We like WCB for brunch as well. Their omelettes are the best.
This is an excellent place. The staff is very curious and the food is perfect!
Great place for a light Saturday brunch. I would highly recommend the French toast or the country fried chicken. It's hard not to suggeet the whole menu. Enjoy
First time visit. Excellent pate, steak frites, & seared scallops over truffle risotto. Will definitely return.
The chef's special of halibut with a coconut lime sauce and quinoa was amazing, and the cheese plate is fantastic. Definitely going back, and would even go back some night just for wine and the cheese plate alone.
We have dined here in the past and enjoyed the bistro atmosphere. While our meals have been good, we were not prepared for the terrific food prepared by the new chef. My husband had halibut with a light tarragon sauce served with quinoa and vegetable stuffed peppers. Hands down the most delicious thing I have eaten in recent memory. I had a lovely gazpacho with citrus poached crab and avocado and their divine beet salad. Delicious! Great service from Lindsay. Good wine selection, fairly priced. We'll be back soon!
Wonderful! The food was outstanding! Tried the braised beef, the name doesn't do it justice! It was amazing!
We were in town Friday and Saturday, for the Westport Art Fair (among other things) from STL. We read in Feast that this was rated #1 brunch location. So, we went back Sunday. Reservation making on the net was very easy considering the fair was occurring on the same street. I thought the "complimentary" bloody mary was very average....WAY too much horseradish and not enough other seasonings, i.e. celery salt, tabasco, worchestershire sauce, etc. But, the coup de grace was my husband's order of eggs and bacon. He asked for "toast" and found out they did not know what to do with the request!!! Now, they make croque madam's and other brioche items, but NO TOAST. The gracious waiter "found" something resembling "toast" and charged us an extra $3......really? Also, they present their menu as very french. I ordered the omelet with pomme frites. Expected a perfect FRENCH omelet. Not even close. Liked service and atmosphere, but we were very disappointed with the Feast rating as Best Brunch in KC.
