Excellent food & excellent service. Would be happy to return. But certainly not cheap.
Excellent meal, excellent service, lovely atmosphere. Great place to have a business meal.
Very classy, elegant, quiet, and with great food. I would go there again.
Excellent food atmosphere and service. Trendy DC restaurant with typical prices.
This was probably one of the best meals I have ever had and my wife and brother felt the same way as well.
Had a surprisingly excellent meal here on Sat night. Everyplace else nearby was booked and went here by default but was glad I did. Both the burrata cheese and pasta dish and the mushroom risotto were delicious. would come back.
Went there for a late valentines dinner, the food was very good, our server was wonderful, the noise level was fairly moderate it got a little busy the later we stayed. We would definitely have dinner here again.
The food was excellent and our waiter was good, however the hostess was not very welcoming and then they refused to validate for parking even though on open table it says nothing about only validating for valet. Also the ambiance was that of a hotel restaurant rather than an upscale restaurant.
We made the reservation thinking it was Rasika West End. When the email confirmation came I realized it was not. Rasika does not use Open Table. So we looked at the menu out of curiosity and thought it look good so we kept the reservation. Definitely glad we did! From walking in the door to leaving the staff was engaging, helpful and friendly. They had a very nice wine by the glass menu. More to choose from then most places. We had a charcuterie for an appetizer which was perfect. Both of us ordered the Halibut- over the top amazing! Ice cream for dessert was compliments of the Chef. It was a delightful evening and we now have a new restaurant to add to our repertoire!
Great service, delicious food, Ambiance was excellent. I would go back again.
Love the team that serve everyone and the food is fantastic and priced appropriately
Attentive service and a special birthday wish for my dat on the dessert plate!
Service was impeccable. Enjoyed breakfast with the family — staff was very accommodating to food allergies. Food was also very well done.
My husband and I went here for New Year's Eve. I had to go through extra steps just to reserve (Open Table wasn't enough), including sending in a 1-page hotel form which asked for more info than they needed just to put a hold on our credit card. The music selections all had very repetitive rhythms and not much melody, which became a little annoying after a while (pounding bass and drums all evening is not a good dinner ambiance). The temperature near the windows cycles between comfortable and too cold. We spent over $350 total and while the food and service were good, I didn't think the whole experience was THAT good. I am unlikely to return to this restaurant.
I don't prefer to dine in hotel restaurants so when booking on open table I was not fully aware it was inside the Ritz Carlton. At least it was in a great location with a wonderful bonus of bottomless brunch mimosa options reasonably priced. Service was top notch.
Thanksgiving special meal, special $$$. Thoroughly disappointed, but the manager did comp the meal.
The service is excellent and friendly.
I had the mussels ...wonderful!
the scallops were superb. Best meal i have had this year.
Lovely atmosphere and dining experience. Excellent food.
I booked the table for a business meeting. We were given a booth which was very private and nice and quite, so perfect for the meeting. The food was excellent, but not over the top fancy; just appropriate for a business lunch. It is rather privy though (lobster roll at USD 28).
Very spartan atmosphere. Food average. More cafeteria style than a typical Ritz Carlton
Good for lunch but not for dinner. Bucatini is great. Dinner plates are so underwhelming and not well prepared or paired. Duck breast tasted like it was soaked in soy.
An EXCELLENT go-to place for any meal... professional meeting, casual meal or especially brunch too on days it is offered. Valet parking comped to a very reasonable rate - and super convenient - is an added plus that keeps me coming back.
The West End Bistro, located inside the Ritz Carlton DC (1150 22nd Street, NW) was fantastic. Our server, Michael, was attentive but gave us our space to enjoy the meal and celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. He, and the rest of the staff at the restaurant, made our evening special with a glass a champagne and a "Happy 25th Anniversary" on our dessert! My husband had the ribeye and I had the halibut. Both were wonderful! I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Overwhelmingly mediocre food. Ordered duck and they didn’t cut off sinew so I had a grey, translucent piece of meat. Salmon was just blah. Not bad, not good, just whatever.
Delicious meal! Chicken was so crispy. Scallops perfectly seared! Only suggestion would be to lower the lights. Too bright over the table. Otherwise excellent experience!
Had a very good meal with excellent service. Good place to have a meal and conversation. Not noisy even when busy.
Average. PEI Mussels came with 4 giant pieces of toast and no sauce. Just a drizzle of sauce over the mussels. Seemed like the male was missed here.
We originally had a reservation outside but it was too warm and the hostess was accommodating and gave us a nice booth inside. Service was good and the Joyce free range chicken was amazing. Nice glass off Cabernet to accompany my meal. Overall a very good experience.
It was a step above normal hotel food which is
E everything was wonderful . Foo was delicious, Ted our waiter was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Over ir was great experience would eat there again
Steak was over cooked, service could have been a bit better; we had to ask for silverware
The service was excellent and the food was great.
Location and venue were both terrific, the food was perfect and well executed by our most amazing waiter Juan Carlos. Booked here without much prior knowledge of the restaurant and were pleasantly rewarded by a comfortable environment, friendly staff and excellent food. Our waiter was an absolute pro who made the experience memorable.
Boyfriends parents were in town. Good food and pretty patio. But music was kind of loud on one side and the heaters on the other side were unbearable. It was 85+ degrees outside and TWO heaters were on and when we asked if they could be turned off they said no. If I hadn’t been with my boyfriends older parents who couldn’t walk much farther, I would’ve left right then and there. What a stupid policy in the summer. I understand that it looks cool but it is so uncomfortable and impractical. Service was slow getting drinks and food.
We ordered the Halibut - AMAZING!! Starting with drinks at the bar to dessert - just a wonderful dining experience. We’ll be back!
Fish over cooked otherwise a very good dining experience
Wonderful dining experience, just what we were looking for. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Thanks.
The house specialty, short ribs, were chewy, mushy and not good. The service was lackluster, grumpy and intrusive. I would most definitely NOT recommend this restaurant
