Westbank Grill @ Four Seasons Jackson Hole Ratings and Reviews
Our experience was so wonderful! The food was amazing and the service and drinks were even better! Our server Joanne was excellent. The waygu tartar appetizer was incredible as well as the baked Brie. We couldn’t get over how attentive and accommodating our waitress was. The restaurant was beautiful as well. Definitely would recommend to others and hopefully we will be back!
This was our honeymoon dinner and it was everything we expected and more. Chef Topher prepared for us the most amazing meal. They even went above and beyond for us knowing the special occasion. They even gave us a tour of the kitchen to meet the special people who took part in our special dinner. Hats off to Chef Topher and his team for making our experience beyond AMAZING!
We were seated right away by a very nice hostess. Our waiter was very slow even though he didn't have many tables in his section. Odd menu and the salad I ordered was dry-no lobster in the bisque. Very disappointed for what I thought would be a higher level restaurant at the Four Seasons. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Service really ruined my experience. Server did not ask once how our appetizers, entrees, drinks or desserts were. When steaks were accidentally switched between two people (no big deal) he literally took silverware and cut one of our 90 dollar wagyus in half to test the temperature at the table (???). Never refilled our wine or water. Not the kind of service I expected at this caliber of restaurant.
I must start by saying the food was absolutely delicious. The servers were relatively nice. Here comes the downfall. We made a reservation for NYE lunch at 3 pm. Even confirmed in person the day before. Once we arrive they inform us that the kitchen would be closing at 3. The whole lunch was completely rushed because of this. Found it a bit unethical and unprofessional to allow a reservation to be made knowing the kitchen would close at that time. I suggest for the staff to be a bit more careful so this does not happen again.
Great meal. Everything was cooked expertly. And everything was very expensive. Meal was twice the cost of any of our other meals in Jackson, and we had some very good meals. The Elk Chop and Short Ribs were both outstanding. Oversized Chocolate chip cookie in an iron skillet was a delicious dessert. Good but ultra expensive wine list. Nice room, although it looks just like lots of other Four Seasons dining rooms. Excellent service. However, the cost was so steep that it detracted from the overall experience.
Can’t go wrong here but remember to bring your credit card with larger limit on it. You can easily drop several hundred dollars here with a family, especially with wine. Bread is the determining factor of how well a restaurant is put together. Good bread = great meal. Great bread here
Dining with Fido? Overall a good experience, but for one terrible guest. Had the Elk chili which was outstanding, and spicy. Also had the bison burger which too was excellent. Service was fast and friendly. It is also a good value for the food considering the location and that it is a 4-Seasons facility. The only turn off, and it was actually HUGE, was that we were seated next to a couple that had their dog actually sitting at the table (in a chair) with them and they were feeding if off of their plates. It was disgusting. I cannot believe it was legal. In my state it is not. I almost asked to be moved, but was able to stomach thru the repulsive view. After they left, the clean up staff wiped down the table and seats. I hope there is no dog butt on those towels now to be used again somewhere else. I was appalled and could not believe that management accepted this practice. Fairly sure I would walk out if that situation was repeated.
My husband and I tried their off-season menu of 3 for $33. We had the brie with marmalade as our appetizer and that was superb. Portion size was very generous. I had the elk chop for my main entree and that did not disappoint at all. I've never had elk meat before and was pleasantly surprised how juicy, tender and tasty it was. Dessert was amazing too. Wine selection was good but could do some work on serving portion. I thoroughly enjoyed the service, ambiance and best of all the food. With that, my girlfriends are coming back to try this week's offering.
Fantastic dinner on our last night at the Four Seasons in Teton Village.
Wonderful room, great menu, terrific wine list. AJ helped us to select everything and chose our wine to compliment the fabulous food. Definitely a great place to go if you are staying at the Four Seasons, Teton Village or the Jackson Hole area.
I was a solo diner and I felt welcome and well taken care of from start to finish. Alex, the manager, seated me and preceded to check on my during my meal and personally got my coat for me when I departed. Anthony was my server, and despite being busy, was attentive. He gave his honest opinion about my selections and helped me make the appropriate wine decisions allowing me to taste wines I had questions about. He was conscientious enough to ensure my orders made it in front of the 30 person dinner party so I would not be left to wait. Ashley and I believe Malik (forgive the spelling) delivered my food courses and were very pleasant, only adding to my overall experience. I had the oysters (the absolute creamiest I've ever had), sweet corn bisque (the king crab, cilantro crema, roasted corn, and subtle spices tortilla chips provided layers of flavor and texture) and the beef tartare, which was good but definitely enhanced by the delicate focaccia chips. Upon request they prepared a smaller selection of their cheeses for me to enjoy for dessert which I really appreciated. The only thing I would change was that I found out later that there was a tasting menu available which I would have liked the opportunity to consider. I will definitely recommend the grill as well as return again alone or with friends! I am local to Jackson so this was a special experience for me. Thank you!
We had a lovely meal at The Westbank Grill. They have an outstanding, if pricy, wine list and a great selection of steaks and chops. The only hiccup was one of our party had an undercooked lamb chop. It was taken quickly back to the kitchen and cooked perfectly to the requested temperature. Our server even came up with a "throat soothing" cocktail for one of our party with a sore throat. It was above and beyond.
Two items ordered were incorrectly delivered and had to be replaced. Wait staff was only half listening, focusing on other tables. Caesar salad was one of the worst I've ever had. Beet side disk was one of the best. Overall, extremely disappointing for a Four Seasons regular, and disappointment is not a word I typically use with the chain.
room was nice, but probably would not go back. we ordered wine for 4 of us; other two ordered cocktails. wine came, but we had to wait another 20 minutes for the cocktails. some of the food was good, but some disappointed; bison was overcooked, elk was undercooked, and beets in the salad were bland, some too hard to eat. desserts were very good.
overall not a bad meal, but we expect more from the four seasons.
We were a party of six staying in downtown Jackson. The Four Seasons is up in Teton Village and was about a 20 minute drive. The atmosphere was lively and our servers were personable and efficient. Most of our group had steak and said it was great. I never saw the bill so I can't comment on the value. It was a great outing.
Although extremely expensive, the 12 oz. American Wagyu New York Strip was the best steak I have ever eaten in my life ($80)! A friend told me about it or I would never had ordered it as I normally prefer tenderloin. She had said the same thing and she & her husband own a farm in VA. Three others in my party ordered the corn fed beef tenderloin ($44-48) and Elk Chop ($58) and they were all envious of my choice! Even though their entrees were good, mine was fabulous. We ordered 2 sides to share: roasted red beets and golden potato puree. Both were good but nothing special.
The breakfasts are great. Five stars all around. Good ala carte menu with interesting items, great buffet. Pricey, but not overly so for four seasons. Dinner was more average for price. Service was excellent on the positive side. The food wasn't bad, just not up to expectation for a restaurant in the four seasons. Everything was serviceable, but nothing had that "wow" factor. Definitely try the breakfast!
