   I went there at 3:30 specifically for the filet mignon. I was told I couldn’t order it until 4:00. The menus say nothing about the time difference between lunch and dinner. I ordered a cheeseburger. It arrived with no pickles, tomato or onion. I was done and just wanted to leave.

   We had dinner yesterday. Had Baja tacos with blackened salmon. It was delicious, 4 large soft tacos. My husband had Halibut and other guest had lettuce wrapped hamburger. Everyone loved their food. Service was perfect.

    It seemed like every seat was taken on a Sunday night. We had reservations but it took about 15 minutes to get our table. Our waitress apologized for the wait and took our order right away. She was knowledgeable about the menu and got us our wine right away. Servers and bussers hustled and were great. I had perfectly cooked prime rib with nice vegetables. My had perfectly grilled pork chops. The sauce was on the sweet side. The food was very good, professionally prepared by the kitchen.

    Valentine’s dinner. Westside had a regular and a menu with their specials. None of them to gouge the patrons. Great job! Keep up the consistency. We have never had a bad meal or service at the Westside Grill. We will continue our patronage of this establishment

    Valentine’s Day dinner with my love. Just celebrated 15 years of marriage in January. Everything was magically orchestrated by the gods last night. Rain let up and arrived on time. Table was finer, place was busy with several tvs goingat the sumptuous bar, noise level easily tolerable. Wait staff attentive and helpful. Salad, large for a dinner salad, and appetizer (lettuce wraps with salmon) appeared so quickly that it surprised us; and was very tasty. Dinner took longer as would be the custom. We split a ribeye steak, bone in, with vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. They carefully with expertise, carved the steak and separated the meal onto two plates for us without being asked. The food was delicious and we both were fully sated to where we reluctantly turned down dessert from the delicious sounding menu. I had tasty cups of coffee with water while my wife had water with Chardonnay. All was delightfully delicious and well presented and the final bill was surprisingly modest for the occasion and the quality. A complete win - win both there and thereafter! 💕💕💕

    Make sure to have a weekend reservation. With outs, our party of 4 was seated with minutes of our arrival. Our waiter Kim was friendly and welcoming, arriving to introduce herself, bring waters and take our drink and appetizer order. The busser was attentive and polite. Appetizers (tempura green beans and calamari were delicious). Entrees were delicious and, as crowded as the restaurant was, we never felt rushed within our 1-1/2 hours there. Highly recommend!

    My dining companion tripped and fell in the restaurant over a poorly marked step and injujred her elbow and knee. They helped her up and got her a bag of ice but took no info from her, failed to proivide a band aid, and did not ask about her for the rest of the visit. Fortunately she won't be making a fuss - but they need training in customer incident interaction and collectrion of information. Hash browns were fab - eggs just so-so

    This is our favorite place to go. It always feels like coming home. They have an excellent staff and very low turnover. We consider them family now. The owners, Kristy and John, are wonderful people. They care so much about their customers and staff. We’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays with them for years now. We just had brunch on New Years Day and the whole place was full and fun. The holiday special cocktails were tasty and the food was delicious. Make your reservation soon and start your new year off with a great new place to dine out!

    We enjoy going to this restaurant with the old grill ambience, tablecloth service, and background music which isn’t too loud. It’s worth our drive from San Jose for a special occasion.

    Very pleasant ambience. Tables are far enough apart that you don't overhear your fellow diners, but it's also easy to hear people at your own table. Menu was well-priced with lots of options. All six of us were happy with all aspects of our food -- taste, presentation, portion sizes. Servers were cheerful and attentive. One of our party was traveling from San Francisco and the weather was stormy. They allowed us to wait 20 minutes until he arrived to take our orders. So accommodating! For five of us, this was our first visit. We will be back!
