Wonderful father's day dinner! We all enjoyed our food, outstanding drinks!

Perfect brunch! Excellent service and fabulous food.

We reserved a table for our date night and were seated at a high top table in the bar. The food & service were good but it was very loud and busy around our table.

Good options for a pescatarian like me.

Overall a lovely dinner:; however, we found the cocktails to be over-priced for small serving size.

It was our wedding anniversary which we did mention upon booking. But there no zero acknowledgment of this when we arrived. Was a bit disappointing in that respect. Food and service overall was good.

It’s different now with physical distancing but still great food and service. I miss the busy ambience but grateful for their efforts to be open while keeping everyone safe.

Took over one hour to get our food. At least it tasted good.

Been here before.. took friends who were from out of town visiting with us this time. Recommended the Chinois Prawns which is our fave appy. I had the calamari first then and sable fish as my Main course. Very delicious food and our server was also quite attentive.

Great atmosphere, delicious food. Ask for the patio, super cozy, quiet and relaxing on a chilly evening.

First time here for brunch! I was impressed. Great menu, service is wonderful as always, and their patio is cute even in the cooler weather. Another reason to go to West Oak.

The food and the ambiance were both really great! I had the tofu and quinoa bowl, and I’m pretty particular on how my tofu is cooked, and it was cooked perfectly. They had this heated outdoor patio was really nice to sit in during a sunny but cold day! I’ll definitely be going back there soon.

We had a celebratory birthday brunch at West Oak--our first visit to the restaurant. The staff were to a person excellent as was the delicious and very reasonably priced food. Thanks for the great experience, West Oak. We'll be back.

Patio was drafty and blankets didint help

West Oak is our new favourite place to eat in Vancouver. Every dish we ordered was perfectly prepared and fantastically flavoured. These guys are doing it right! Skip the Yaletown Keg next door and go one door down to West Oak, you won't be disappointed.

Great food at reasonable prices. Service was not great. I expected better service levels. Constantly looking for my server. Also, my knapkin feel on the floor and my server just picked it up and gave it to me without offering me a clean new one.

West Oak has a nice ambiance and is good for social or business meetings, and it has a good vibe. The food was hit and miss.

My main course was the lemongrass Sablefish, and it was delicious. Wonderfully prepared, right temperature, and great sides.

The beet and burrata salad was a disappointment, especially for $18. Just based on the name one would expect those two pieces to be the centerpiece of the plate, but this was basically a spring mix with chunks of beets and a lump of Burrata. There was no sense of artistry or presentation.

Also, burrata should be soft, creamy, and luxurious, and is generally to be served at room temperature. This burrata was small, cold, hard, and felt like they were just checking the box to get it on the plate. Maybe I would pay $9 for that salad and think it was just OK, but it certainly doesn't justify its current prices.

So, would I go back? Yes, its a nice place, but I'd ask first about preparation before ordering.

Happy hour menu was good value. Seafood Salad was delicious. Lobster tagliatelle ended up being served with fettuccine noodles. They were undercooked and made fora disappointing entree. No quality check by the staff until after we ate everything. Bar seating along the wall is busy with traffic and the door to the patio was open a lot so it was very cool at times.

The food was amazing and unreal. Tasty flavours in every bite. The atmosphere was romantic and comfortable.

It was also my bf’s birthday, they were so sweet to give him a birthday treat with a candle.

Will definitely refer friends to come here.

We celebrated birthdays. The approach of the server was interesting. She was asking what we are doing here?!? lol she was very hard to understand. My wine glas was dirty with lipstick

Definitely a bit disappointed with the small amount of burrata that comes with the prosciutto appetizer. Only ordered it for the burrata and kind of wish I got the burrata salad instead. Should have ask the waitress for her opinion but didn’t think it would be that little.

Very happy with the seating though! Requested a booth and got a really great one!

We had a wonderful meal. It was our first time their and we were celebrating an early Valentine’s Day before heading to VSO. Our waiter made great recommendations and the food was superb. We will be back before our next concert.
