Great spot. Great apps
Great service from Eddie!
Saturday night before the Bruins game. Seated immediately at our 5pm reservation. The menu is quite varied with something for everyone. Wonderful beer selection. Johnnie's meatballs were very tasty with a good marinara sauce. Entrees were good. The chicken and pineapple sandwich was quite tasty. I was disappointed with the Johnnie's burger. It was pretty tasteless and I got it medium rare which after a minute made it look and feel and taste like it was from Lion's Choice. We were off to the game so no dessert or coffee. It is 3 blocks from the TD Garden so very convenient with a parking garage right across the street. For the convenience and the ambiance it was well worth it. I would not hesitate to go back.
My husband and I went to West End Johnnie's before a Celtics game, and really enjoyed our meals. His Lobster Mac n Cheese was excellent, and my salad with shrimp was really tasty. I have some dietary restrictions, so eating out can be a bit of a challenge but our server went over and above to make it work for me.
1st time going to the Raggae brunch! Fabulous music and delicious food. Can't wait to go back!!!!
Ideal pre-game dining and sports viewing spot. Had Johnnie's Famous Meatballs for a yummy appetizer as well as the Arugula salad w/ Grilled Chicken for my main dish. Kids menu had a great selection as well (our child ordered Mac N Cheese + fries). Would recommend this as a hangout pretty much anytime.
Amazing brunch! The live music makes the atmosphere a place we want to be on a Sunday morning. The bloody mary's are amazing, molasses wings out of this world and you can't go wrong with pretty much any item on the menu. This place does not disappoint! The service is good, too. Not too overbearing, but the come over often enough to make sure your drink is full!
Sunday reggae brunch at Johnnie's is a great time. The reggae band is always entertaining and engaging. Our meals (steak frites and classic eggs benedict) were delicious and satisfying. Especially with the band, there's definitely a feel-good atmosphere at brunch. Reservations are definitely needed though, as this is a popular Sunday brunch spot.
Had a great time during reggae brunch. Food and service were spot on and we will be coming back to try something different!
Pre game. I’m sorry but our meal were crap. I told server we had an allergy but he obviously ignored it which could be life threatening
Everything is fresh, fast and delicious!
Meatballs, which had been a favorite, were very disappointing. They were over-firm and tasteless. Otherwise, all other food was really great.
We had an excellent experience at West End Johnnies. Our table was right next to the stage; great for the music enjoyment, hard to converse with who you’re there with. The band was so good at the Reggae Brunch. Our meals were incredible. Meals thoroughly enjoyed at our table were steak and eggs, the breakfast skillet and their fluffernutter french toast. We will definitely be returning for more delicious food and fun atmosphere.
Perfectly cooked fried calamari for apps and salmon for dinner. A great place to eat before the Bruins game.
Very good place for dinner before Celtics game. Excellent location and steak tips were very good. Dinner price a little higher than you would expect for dinner.
Had an amazing experience went before a Celtics game would recommend all day. Awesome drinks awesome atmosphere!!! Waiter was on point, great spot.
Bourbon fans, anyone?? This place has an amazing selection. Great food too!
We were a half hour late for our reservation (due to traffic), but we called and they held our table for us. Food & service were fantastic, price very reasonable, and we made it to the Celtics game with time to spare. Johnnie's was a find!
Went for Reggae brunch and loved every minute of it! Will definitely be back. Food was great, service was good (only 1 waiter for several tables but he was efficient and attentive) and the music was so fun! Highly recommend.
Reggae Brunch is fantastic.... never disappoints.
ITs a nice place. But the service is not so good. I waited for over 1 hour for food. Some people who arrived after us ate and left before we were able to get our food. And was party of 2 just like us.
Great night for 3 generations of family. Everyone loved it!
This is a great place to go before any event at the Garden. Just be sure to make a reservation a few days early. They usually are booked on event nights.
REGGAE BRUNCH IS A HIDDEN JEWEL!!! If you haven’t gone, go!!!
Great food, great drinks, great music. Can't beat West End Johnnies.
The service was very slow. At some point we were looking for our server for about 40 Minutes. It happened to be very busy that day and it looked like they might have been short stuffed.
Great Restaurant. John is the best. Great food, drinks and atmosphere.
Service excellent and like the changes to the menu. Only consideration was the noise level which the entire time made it difficult to have normal table conversation with just 3 of us. Concern for future bookings for me.
Dinner waited was average nothing special about him Eddie
Wonderful brunch food and great live Reggae music! We ordered the "Hot Mess" and "West End Huevos".
We had a great meal before the Bruno Mars concert.
Food was excellent!! Great service too
Was perfect for before the show! I didn't really need a review but I wanted to be safe! Great quality food for the price and great drink list.
Pre-Garden go-to spot. High quality, reliable, consistent and fast.
We were visiting before a Boston Bruins game. We walked in and were one of the first tables being seated for the night. First impression was great bar - cool hangout - large windows with good light and very clean. We had heard about the wings being good so decided to try both flavors they served. Both were very good. We also got the fried calamari which has pieces of fried pickle in it that were delicious. Drinks were good but typical city pricing. We would definitely check out again.
The Manager, Dana, went ABOVE and beyond for our group of 21. Kids sat in their own area (with us close by to supervise) and he had set up the living room area for the nine adults. Our server, Eddie, was FANTASTIC. We never had to wait and he was attentive despite not only having our large group but several other tables. The drinks were delicious (I had the honey margarita and several friends were raving about the Pink Panther). The food was excellent. We started with the guac (which was some of the best guac that I have ever had). My husband had recommended this place as he goes there with his friends before a Celtics game. West End Johnnie's did not disappoint. Highly recommend it.
Good fun vibe but surprised the reggae band started at 11:45 when "reggae brunch" was advertised as 11-4pm
Over priced but good environment
No atmosphere but that's USA for you
Waiter had a go at me for leaving too low a tip
I leave tip for quality of service not out of duty
Strange experience .. but ed sheeran was brilliant
