We were looking for an alternative to meeting friends for lunch at a diner. We were very pleased with our new find and look forward to returning again and again... There were so many interesting choices that it would take many visits to try them all. It was tucked away in the corner, but it was definitely worth finding!

From our bartender (Eric) to our hostess, Lady Kate, to our server, Lady Tessa... our experience was first-rate! We love the decor here, as well as and more importantly, the food and the service. A total gem!

LOVE the food, always consistently good. My go to place for birthdays, and date nights. Service always excellent, portions plentiful! Love the price fixed menu during the week!

Had an excellent price fix menu dinner last night. My appetizer of Asian duck tacos was fantastic. Equally good were my Romano chicken main course and brownie sundae dessert!

Food is always good but the noise level made it difficult to have a conversation. Restaurant was packed, hot and noisy. Water left on table was warm. Service was slow. Will not go on a Sat night again.

Great prixe fixe with excellent, tasty food. Excellent service, from the host to the waiters and bus persons. We brought our friends this time and everyone raved about the food, not to mention the good deal it was. Some of our favorites were the ribs, chicken and steak. Deserts include pistachio sundae, creme brulee, belgian chocolate pecan pie, fruit with sorbet. We plan to return as a group and just with my husband.

I think they transposed the cooking preference orders. I ordered the venison medium and my friend ordered his steak medium raw. My venison was closer to what he ordered and his steak was closer to what I ordered. I was ok with mine but I had recommended the place, so I was disappointed that the it looked like I oversold the place

I've always loved the West End Cafe and the meals are usually very good but we were very disappointed this visit. The chicken panini my son ordered was dry and my grilled cheese was so soggy the texture of the bread resembled mushy baby food.

This is my third and last time at this restaurant. I’ve enjoyed it in the past. This time, despite my reservation, I waited 20 minutes for a table; not a tragedy. Then when I got to my table and sat down, the seat was soaking wet, as was I at this point. The busboy took the chair and dried it; again, not a tragedy. However, I ordered a drink that I have been having for more than 20 years. Sometimes it’s better than others, but this one clearly had what smelled like cleaning fluid in it. It smelled and tasted horrible. For the first time in my life, I sent a drink back. The waiter rolled his eyes and shook his head as he walked away — that was my breaking point. No more West End Cafe for my wife and I.

Great varied menu. Apps we very good. Especially the wild mushroom crostini. Worst part
Of the meal was the chicken orchiette. Short rib was great and pork chops were good.

The food was both presented beautifully and tasted delicious. I wanted to try everything on the Restaurant Week Menu.
The service was professional. I didn't feel rushed.
I have found a new favorite restaurant and plan on returning.
I give it 5 stars!

I went for restaurant week with my mom. The waitress was mediocre and only checked in a few times. Up till now she didn’t introduce herself with her name. Despite this the food was delicious. I ordered arancini for an appetizer and it was very similar to an Italian style rice ball. My mom got the mushroom crostini, but it didn’t taste like mushroom at all. There was an artichoke/ tuna taste to it. We wouldn’t order it again. We both ordered shrimp risotto and it was very delicious. The shrimp were big and tasty. I really enjoyed the pecan pie it was the perfect combination of pecans and chocolate. My mom ordered the apple crisp and it wasn’t what we expected. It was not warm and was basically a deconstructed apple pie in a small bowl. This needs to be reworked. All in all our restaurant experience was good.

A real gem tucked away in a dying strip shopping center. This restaurant has been around for a long time and we are glad we finally tried it. Outstanding venue, but a little expensive.

One of our favorite restaurants with great prixe fixe. Accommodating for Gluten Free. Service is excellent. We like salmon and chicken dishes which are both creative and delicious. Dessert choices include a pistachio sundae and Belgian chocolate pecan pie. Try this place, it’s worth it.

The table was arranged so that I had to sit in the crack of the benches along the wall which was uncomfortable. It was only a 2 seat table so I could not move to a comfortable spot. It was noisy and the tables are on top of each other so we had to speak loud to each other to be heard. We had to try and track down the waitress for cheese for the pasta b/c it wasnt offered to us or on the table. And had to wait for her to ask for the check. The main meal was good but the creme bulee was just okay. My friend likes it there and chose the restaurant bu I would not go back there.

We dined during Restaurant Week. It was disconcerting to see our meals carried out of the kitchen, walked around the dining room, placed on a side counter for several minutes and served to another table before our waitress caught the server to put the plates in front of us. We attempted to get the server's attention but the room was so loud, it was impossible. The two tables along side our table were laughing. How many people needed to breath and touch my food beforehand? We saw this happen with several meals that night.

The crowd was definitely much older than my boyfriend and I. MUCH older, and we’re in our mid thirties. But the vibe was very friendly. The waiter was the sweetest, and very helpful when it came to helping me decide what to order. What drew us in? Restaurant week. What will bring us back? The deliciousness on the menu! We laughed, we ate, we drank. Good times!
