My husband and I were talking with a friend, who said, "Where are you going to go out to dinner for your 30th Wedding Anniversary?" We were up in the air about a few places; some closed on Tuesdays. He said, "You must try the West End Cafe! I have been going to this special place for over 20 years! The food is amazing, and the service is personal! " Well, Tony was absolutely right! We were greeted with a warm smile by the hostess, and she kept checking on us all evening. Our conversation included that this was our first time at the West End Cafe that a friend exclaimed, "We must try, especially if you are celebrating a special day!" I had the best scallops in my life, including better than my favorite Florida restaurant! My husband decided to try the pork chop...let me tell you, the presentation of each item, including the salads, were eye-popping! And to top it all off, the hostess came over with dessert and 2 glasses of champagne to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary! To say we will never forget this meal is an understatement! West End Cafe, we will see you soon! (I turn 65 in August!)

I had not been back to WEC in a very long time. I still like the people and the food. With that being said, it was a very expensive Mother’s Day lunch.

West End Cafe is excellent. The staff and the service is fantastic. The waitstaff are knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. They are concerned about their customer’s dining experience. The food is delicious and the portions are perfect. The only downside is that the bar area which is adjacent to the dining area can get very noisy. We will definitely be going back.
