Super helpful staff that went above and beyond to accomadate me.
Great place for brunch! The bottomless mimosas were great and the cinnamon bun was huge with lost of frosting, sauce, and bacon. The service was good and always on top of refilling the drinks.
Had a concert that night, couldn’t go back to the car so the security staff held onto our stuff. Great environment, great food & overall a great experience.
Always a great time!
Did not comply to vegetarian requests, but good for concert early entry.
My boyfriend and I made reservations here because we had concert tickets. We had the BEST time!!! The happy hour is everyday! The hot wings and hummus were delicious! Can’t wait to go back!!!
Great brunch and Brian is one of the best servers in San Diego.
Brian was our server and he was absolutely amazing! The hostess was not as great.. she was more worried about her instagram then smiling and doing her job. The toast flight is a must!
Second time here for brunch and bottomless mimosas, as usual a great experience. However I did not like the two hour table limit, not really an enjoyable experience when someone puts a time limit on your outing. I understand they state they get booked but you should also want your customers to enjoy themselves and not feel like they are on an assembly line of customers. the service overall was great!
Had dinner there for my wife’s birthday before seeing a concert at the attached Observatory North Park. Staff was friendly and helpful. They checked us in for the concert, we had a nice dinner and then entered the concert venue through the restaurant. Super convenient, great music. Food was good.
Are reservation was not ready when we arrived. Then we were sat in the bar at stools instead of a table with chair backs. 30 minutes after ordering dinner we cancelled our order as the food had not yet arrived and we had a concert to attend next door.
Great service! Great food! I would highly recommend 😀
It was Greta van fleet concert .. best food we have had on our trip to San Diego !!!!we had the hummus and veggies and the glazed Brussels sprouts with Parmesan .. everything was so fresh and delicious ! All employees there are awesome ...so helpful nice and professional including bar backs and security !!
The food was great, but the service was even better. Had not previously explored the North Park area on previous visits to San Diego and we are so glad we did. This place is a true gem and definitely has a neighborhood and low key vibe.
Overall good vibe and good menu. The drinks were very tasty and the environment was nice. I wouldn't recommend for kids though (saw one) its definitely a grown up environment.
The bloodys weren’t that good. There was way too much celery salt or something in it. The coffee was so bitter we didn’t drink it - and I like it strong - the sweet roll was drowning ing the Carmel sauce - or whatever that is. I mean I love the gooey stuff but that was waaaayyyyy too much!! Our server was great! Don’t remember her name but she appeared to be Latina with long hair and some highlights. She had a flannel shirt on.
Even though they are connected to The Observatory and the easy check in seems tempting, the price and poor service are not worth it.
We came here because it had Happy Hour everyday, we were going to a concert afterwards at the Observatory which is connected to it, and I had heard the food/drinks are good. Between the three of us we had the wings and a flatbread. Food was awesome.
I have them 5stars if it wasn’t for one thing: My friend had forgotten his ID (who is 29) but it was fine because the concert was All Ages and he doesn’t drink, however there was a bouncer at the restaurant door and the manager made it into a huge deal! Yes I understand they can’t trust someone who says they won’t drink but it is not a 21+ restaurant and they could have easily just not given him one and let us go in. They tried to explain to us that we would have I use the other entrance (which we knew) but did so in a rude and “are you stupid” type of manner. Disappointing because the food was good and not too expensive.
Won’t be coming back for pre-concert drinks/food.
It's a great date night, especially if you are attending a show at The Observatory with early access to the show
Service, food, and drinks were all outstanding. We were taken care of from start to finish and were even able to leave our leftovers to pick up after the show. 10/10!
Looked like there was not enough staff to handle a not so busy night - wait for food service was long. Friendly servers, though. Food was good! Disappointed to find they’d had their liquor license suspended til August 1.
The host and crew were very friendly, and went above and beyond to accommodate a longer-than-normal wheelchair. Everybody enjoyed the food, except for the wings which were apparently just okay. There was a lot of activity next door at the Observatory, which was good and bad, and the parking was not very handy. This normally would not bother me, but we had an elderly person and a handicapped person in our group. Kudos again to the very helpful staff!
Great food and 2 year old friendly (early evening dinner). The service was outstanding and the music was great.
We saw how amazing the brunch looked and wanted to try it out as soon as we could!! And we LOVED it!! The doggies even got a meal off the doggy menu! Such a fun environment and amazing service! Thank you so much!!
Horrible waiter. Too many blips to even mention. If he hates serving he should find a different line of work
Here for my birthday, mimosas were watered down :/ disappointed because the first time I can taste a fair amount of alcohol for the price so I bragged to a friend to come today...needless to say I wont come for the mimosas again. The food is great! Service today was spotty...they changes waitresses and forgot about us :/ I still love the food tho!
I think we chose a poor night to go, as there was a concert going on in the back and all service seemed a little slow because of it, and there was no chance for holding conversation for the noise. The food was tasty, though avoid the brussel sprouts; they were so oily that it kind of tainted the rest of the meal for us and in the end made us not feel too well. Chicken and waffles were good, and the shrimp tacos were really good...though they are spicy! The drinks were great.
The staff is very nice and the service was great. However, the food is just mediocre.
Great food and cocktails with a cool vibe.
Had a DJ for Sunday Brunch. That sounds like it would be fun, but it made it far too loud on the inside, I couldn't hear the person next to me. Outside was slightly better.
The music was loud, the patrons were yelling to talk over the music and others.
I had been to WCT fairly recently and had a very enjoyable experience. But on this trip, the service was awful. We asked for extra napkins and had practically finished our meal when they finally arrived, we asked for plain ketchup and it NEVER arrived, even though we asked twice. Almost ALL of the food had a pretty strong spiciness that was a little difficult for some of us - thus the request for PLAIN ketchup, as the house ketchup was VERY spicy. The drinks were good - beer, wine and mixed - so if I were to come back, it would be for cocktails and nothing else, I think.
My fiance and I had the veggie burgers! So goood! We will be back for sure
Met some friends for HH, drinks were good and inexpensive. The only issue was the food, the wings were spicy and the ketchup was spicy. The food was one note: spicy, so you couldn’t really taste it that much. Overall, good food, good drinks and get there early on Sundays since it fills up quickly.
We had a good group of 6 that hadn't caught up in a while, and our dinner at West Coast Tavern
(Sat May 26th at 6:30pm) was exactly what we hoped for. We had delicious steaks and craft cocktails while watching the Warriors and B.S.-ing with each other. It was time well spent at probably the coolest spot in N. Park!
The staff was fantastic! Our server and the bartender were assertive and attentive. One guy in our party imposed on our server a specific food request and she complied happily with out rolling her eyes, and we appreciated what a great sport she was!
The server was great. Food took forever to come out and all 4 plates were wrong. Steak came out medium instead of rare, cooks didn’t “prep enough bacon for the day”, wrong chicken for a bowl and soggy waffles. The server did the best she could for having the back of house screw up the steak a second time. Manager was not helpful and couldn’t be bothered.
Over priced food. Served spoiled seafood. “Chipotle Mussels” taste like curry. Server managed to stop by every 20-30 min. Would not recommend or consider going back.
Love those happy hour giant mules!
We ate here before going to a show at the observatory. It was great. Do not be in a hurry. It is great but before a show it is busy. Everyone is super nice and it is next-store to the venue.
It was great!!!!!
West coast tavern was amazing! Went there before a concert at the observatory and it was the perfect preconcert spot. Plus the food was amazing and the drinks during happy hour were cheap! Our waitress was the best and she even held my leftovers in the back so I could take them home after the concert. Definitely will be coming back a lot. So fun.
The food is Amazing, the service was great, we ordered the Mac n cheese and the Mac n cheese burgers...wow doesn't describe it! First time visiting during a Cody Jinks line up and the people were very helpful, and nice. Recommended to everyone.
